Chapter 241: Shoot A Death Beam

.....

A total of fifteen days have passed since Azmodeus entered the wormhole between solar systems, and it was on this auspicious day that a bright blue light flashed at the end of the tunnel.

"I thought it was supposed to be golden..." He softly murmured.

Shortly after this comment was made, he, along with the Star Fleet, phased through the flash of blue light, reaching a whole new area!

In this area, there was nothing in the immediate vicinity. However, if one looked farther out, they would see a vast number of shiny objects, all of which hovered around an extremely large shiny object.

"I assume that is the Central Space Station of Valeria?"

Azmodeus voiced his question to a captain kneeling behind him. And the Captain's response was, "Yes, My Liege! That is the Central Space Station of Valeria, and it is also the place where most commerce is conducted within the system!"

Following this differential answer, the captain of Kyros Star Fleets' lead ship moved a few steps forward. Quickly, he made it to a dashboard that had a plethora of blue screens scattered across it.

After tapping a few buttons on the dashboard, the lead ship sped up its advance as it shot toward the Central Station, achieving speeds far surpassing light speed.

"Captain, how about you fire a death beam right at that Central Station?"

Azmodeus interrupted the concentration of the Captain with a baffling question, thus causing him to accidentally push an accelerator a little too hard out of fright.

"W-What was that, My Liege...? I surely must've heard wrong, because I swear I just heard you say to shoot a death beam at the Central Stati-"

"Yes, that is exactly what I said." Azmodeus interjected with a hand to his chin as he lifted his other hand off the red satin cushion he sat on. After which, he pointed to the rapidly expanding Space Station. "So, can you do it or not?"

And when one included the fact that the Star Fleet sat just out of range of the Central Station's sensors, absolutely nothing could stop the grind...

"Fire."

With the nonchalant uttering of words that could mean the deaths of countless lives, all of the StarShips simultaneously shot out beams of death. Every single one of the beams coalesced in the middle of a point in space, ultimately forming a monstrosity beyond comprehension!

What would it be like to see death shooting straight toward you, and as the life faded from your eyes, you realize that there was absolutely nothing you could've done to prevent such an outcome?

Well, for high-ranking executives of the Central Station—existences inside the Planet Forger Realm—this was exactly what they felt.

If it were just a few death beams, then the Station's shield could deflect the damage, or they could take care of the beams themselves. But what was happening at that moment was beyond the expectations of anyone even remotely involved in politics.

They were in a neutral zone! Somewhere that even the Galactic Lords would not act unruly in!

No one could've possibly accounted for an entire Solar System falling under the rule of a pathologically insane man!

But it was far too late for regret, as death looked all the Station's inhabitants in the face. And with the flashing of a light so unbelievably bright that the sun paled in comparison, everything paused for a second.

After taking a moment to register the damage, the world resumed as Fan Xiao and his friends evaporated at a visible pace, quickly turning into skeletons before being further reduced to dust particles. And when even the dust particles were unable to withstand the searing heat, no trace of their existence was left within the world of the living.

They perished...

Everyone perished.
