Chapter 260: Harkath's Insanity!

.......

Harkath, the Leviathan God, was someone with a cultivation base in the 3rd Order Divine Realm, making him about as strong as a Lunar Ascendancy Realm Expert. And to counter such an absurdly powerful foe, the Ice Tribe had to send out more than 70 powerhouses of the 2nd Order Divine Realm.

In addition to that, they sacrificed thousands of 1st Order Divine Realm Masters as well as countless cultivators of the Emperor Realm and below.

But even with so much power at their beck and call, they were no match for the overwhelmingly powerful Harkath, as they fell to his blade within the day.

Now this is where things really get interesting... as the Spirit Race—which has been dormant since their forceful sealing by Harkath—finally broke their eternity-long seal!

They sought revenge on the one who sealed them away, and this led to them reviving all fallen warriors of the Forest, Sand, Water, Ice, and Fire Tribes. The Forest and Sand Tribes joined late in the fray, so they didn't have as many casualties. Even so, their top elites and those of the other Tribes were brought back to life.

Along with such a resurrection, the Spirits bestowed upon them their top-level Elemental Blessings, causing their power to skyrocket!

They came back to life with a million times the strength, aiming to strike the Leviathan God where it hurt!

They succeeded in their endeavors for quite a while. At least, that was until they backed the lion into a corner. And with his life on the line, Harkath made one final attempt at overcoming those who wished to get in his way. Subsequently, this is what led to the scene before us...

"..."

Azmodeus looked at the aftermath of where the Leviathan God just went through an intense struggle, wondering just how many powerhouses had died.

"This is what happens when you push a man to the brink of insanity. His goals were so large, and yet he never could make a breakthrough or even leave this world..."

He related to Harkath on a certain level, but in the end, this Leviathan God was nothing more than a toy in his big toy house. And when toys became broken, it was only natural that you would throw them away...

"Before I dispose of a faulty toy, I guess I will pay him a visit. I wish to understand just what will go through his mind when he meets the person he so badly wants to kill." Azmodeus's voice turned frosty as a piercing gleam flashed past his red eyes.

FWIP!

He vanished from his spot, leaving all of the Elemental Tribesmen in a state of bewilderment.

"Did God just abandon us...?"

Harkath did all of this so as to craft something capable of withstanding the full degree of his might—the Leviathan God's Carparece!

"HAHAHAHA!!!"

His insane laughter reverberated through the iron-filled skies as his long, dark blue hair blew in the wind, forcing him to cock back his head while holding his hand over a single eye.

"You Wish For Me To Give It Up!?!? ME!!!???"

WAAAAA!

His aura exploded outward, causing even the air to collapse in on itself!

He flipped his menacing blood-red gaze across all of the people present, as there were even a few that he raised from diapers. But regardless of who it was, they were all Betrayers!! They didn't understand what he wanted!!! They didn't understand what it was like to live in a cage while knowing that you could be something more!!!

They didn't understand...

"DIE!!!!" Harkath bellowed at the top of his lungs, forcing the azure blue aura fluctuating around his robust frame to spike up a millionfold!

He burned through his life essence! He burned through his Soul Essence! He discarded everything without hesitation! Not caring a single damn bit about the repercussions of his actions!!!

"..." "..." "..."

All of the gathered Experts watched the last semblance of humanity fade from the eyes of this raging beast. It was at this moment that they knew what they had to do...

"You were like a father to me... But all good things eventually come to an end... I am sorry, old friend."

Ice Monger's devastingly powerful aura turned melancholic as he watched the enormous, raging beast rush at them.

Witnessing someone who he used to look up to devolve into such a state was enough to have him grit his teeth and pull up his Great Axe.

Just as he was about to swing down with everything he had, something completely out of reason happened...
