Chapter 410 Killing Immortal Emperors

410 Killing Immortal Emperors

An Immortal had many life-saving measures, including but not limited to their Nascent Soul, Essence Soul, Immortal Soul, Immortal Domain, King Soul, Emperor Soul, Quasi-God Soul, and Transcendent Spark. For these Immortal Emperors and Immortal Kings, however, they had everything but the Quasi-God Soul, Transcendent Spark, and the Emperor Soul if speaking about the Immortal Kings. Yet, even with all these natural life-saving measures plus the exterior ones they kept on their person, none of it made a difference in the face of unquestionable power.

CRACK—

One by one, their life-saving measures shattered, and then, with an untold amount of regret and hate, they faded away into the afterlife. Meanwhile, all of their possessions and stolen goods were snatched up by the one who killed them. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Ahh! Y-You killed them!" someone screamed hysterically. "Yo-You monster!!"

Azmodeus's brows furrowed as his eyes drifted toward the source of this incessant screaming. He saw a total of three Grade 1 Immortal Emperors, all of whom were quivering in fear, with yellow spots spreading out between their legs. Instead of just outright killing them, he decided to test out his mighty force of Reindeer. "Go, Rudolph and Prancer; show these heinous thieves what happens when you steal other people's stuff," he commanded, his expression freezing over. "Kill them, but don't harm the goods. After all, we have some more borrowing to do."

Stomp, Stomp. Stomp, Stomp.

Rudolph and Prancer stepped forward and galloped over to the three thieves. Their imposing figures loomed over the three of them with a terrifying look about them. Trembling in fear, the thieves slowly turned their shaky eyes up. When they locked eyes with the two monstrous reindeer, all color left their faces as they turned whiter than a sheet of paper. "Help!" They skidded off the ground, attempting to flee in terror. However, without a hint of mercy, Rudolph stomped on the first thief's back, crushing both his spine and all internal organs. Prancer followed Rudolph's example and stomped on the second thief, instantly rendering him disabled. The only one left standing was the third thief, but upon seeing and hearing what happened to the other two thieves, his mind blanked out, and he went brain dead.

Stomp! Squelch!

[As soon as you condense your Emperor Domain, you can commence your breakthrough into the Immortal Emperor Realm!]

[Ding! Your Battle Power has drastically improved!]

As soon as he saw these system notifications, Azmodeus realized that it was now time to begin making his journey to the Lands Unknown. With his current power and the map of secret entrances by his side, he should be able to effortlessly sneak in and leave the Eternal Jade Heavens once and for all. Still, there was one thing that he was especially worried about. Specifically, it was the fact that to reach the Lands Unknown, one had to pass through the territory of those who lorded over the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm — the Eternal Jade Sect.

It was a sect with a history as old as time, and with their unique disciple situation, they were well-known even in the other Immortal Realms. Yet, they were still the ones who ruled the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm, and as such, they were also the ones who decided who enters and who leaves the realm. For most, however, the option of entering the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm was not even a part of the equation. After all, to enter into the realm, one had to venture in the opposite direction of the Immortal Funnel, because the realm was toward the very edges. To do this, one would need to possess power far surpassing the Immortal God and Immortal Transcendent Realms.

Even so, there have been reported cases of those who arrived in the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm. For example, the grand ancestors of the Eternal Jade Sect were said to have originated from outside the realm. Moreover, there were those like Ling Chao, the Nine Evil Yin Immortal Realm spy, who had somehow made it into the Immortal Realm undetected. Still, these were considered very rare exceptions, and none were widely known or accepted by the public. The common consensus was that one could only leave if they were capable enough, while those who wished to enter the realm simply never entered it.

As Azmodeus traversed the wide expanse of grassy plains with his nine Reindeer on his way to the Eternal Jade Sect, he noticed many patches of fire. Above him were the causes of these massive fire patches scarring the world, with their mighty godly visages flashing around in the clouds. Their bodies moved from one spot to another, looking as if they were teleporting. When, in actuality, they were just moving so fast that it looked as if they were teleporting. Although this might, at first, seem like a rare event, Azmodeus had already seen dozens of these high-level fights break out among the opposing Immortal Gods. From what he could tell, more and more of them were flooding over from the Azureflask Empire's allies and the allies of the opposing Empires.
