Chapter 82 System!!!

Nine years... I clearly remembered that day. That day my happiness turned into despair.

I was nine years old when I get on a plane with my parents. We were going on a trip to enjoy our vacation.

My caring and loving mom and my free-spirited dad. We were so happy to spend our time together.

But that changed when our happy times turned into despair. The plane we boarded crashed and many passengers died including my parents.

I took every knowledge and learned everything I could from the books and other forms of education. I got full marks in my school test and got a full scholarship when I was just 17.

And the moment, I left my house I was already in another world, known as hell. I face many problems, hurdles, and despair. But I didn't give up.

No matter what I face, I didn't lose my hopes and continue to survive. I became so obsessed with living, that I killed others to survive. I want to live Because...

That's what my parents sacrificed their lives for...

I woke up in an apartment building that I live in. I remember that time when mom and dad protected me with everything they had on a plane crash on our trip to Jeju island...

As it turned out we were gonna live on Jeju island. But that's all memories, it's already too late to change the past. I ate a piece of bread, wore my blue uniform, and grabbed another piece of bread before heading out.

But before opening the door, I closed my eyes.

I looked everywhere and saw dead bodies everywhere, and beasts in cages. Suddenly, I heard a loud voice.

"We have a new challenger! Girls and men! demons and devils! Place your bets if this human will survive! Odds are 1:4!"

The audience stared at me with a disgusting expression on their face. They started to boo me. While they all booed at me, a black window appeared in front of me showing,

[Welcome new user to the devil system. The devil system will help the user survive whilst in hell.]

Then 3 boxes appeared in the window.

"Skill boxes" Were written at the box. I looked closely at the boxes.

One box was white, one was just a question mark, and one was black and show signs of a black aura. I opened the white and a skill appeared...

[Learned all basic weapon arts]

The moment the window disappeared,  my mind was invaded, I could remember all sorts of forms, weapons, and their uses.

My mind felt like it was about to burst. It was so unbearable.

"AHHHHHH"I screamed as the pain became more and more intense. The knowledge forcibly poured into my mind.

After a moment,  the pain stopped. A message appeared in front of me.

[Mind protection: slightly protects your mind from all sorts of damage, spells, and reduces pain received from learning (must learn for college students)]

"I gained a new skill." I murmured to myself staring at the message box.

I don't know why the last part is there but this is helpful for me.

Then the window with boxes again appeared in front of me. I opened the question mark box this time and a full set of leather armor, a stone sword, bow and arrows, and a stone knife dropped out of nowhere.

Weirdly, I know how I could use all these, I wore my armor, carried all the weapons. They were quite heavy but I'll get used to it.

Then I looked at the black box... I was a little scared of opening it, but if it means surviving hell, I'll take it! I opened the box and it says

I looked at the other parts of the system, there's a lucky wheel but it says

[The price will go up 10 times after a spin.]

[Price Resets daily in hell time.]

There was also a level up and attribute system, intelligence, strength, physical, and agility. My looking was suddenly disrupted by the announcer.

"The betting will close in 10...9...8...7...6...5-"

But before he continued I shouted out.

"I bet 1000 demon coins on myself!"

The audience went silent but the announcer shouted.

"1000 demons coins have been added to the bet! If you win it will become 4000, but if you lose..."

"I know!" I suddenly said interrupting me.

The announcer was a little dissatisfied by my interruption but he ignored me and started to say something to the audience.

I examined my surrounding. 'My goal is to survive. Even if I lose this fight, I will not die. But if I win, I will get many demon coins."

Suddenly, a window popped in front of me startling me.

The window disappeared after some second. I looked in front of me.

The enemies started appearing,  Two hellhounds and 16 undead dogs. The undead dogs all rushed to me the moment they saw me while the hounds stood there being wary.

I also took my fighting stance wielding the sword that was given to me by the system. I was ready for their attack but the undead dogs seem so slow to me.

Slice!

I  quickly sliced a dog's head with my sword. But the problem now is that I'm surrounded by these dogs and I'm not fast enough to kill all of them in one blow. So I took advantage and made a plan.

I fought with the undead dogs for a minute. I killed 2 zombie dogs slicing their head. I quickly get to their corpse and activated.

"Corpse Activation!!!"

A bright light shone in my palm. I touched the corpse and a flow of energy got absorbed in my body.

I smiled looking at the message. My attributes didn't increased much but my agility increased drastically. I looked at the medium-size window, examining it.

[Stamina: (Basic) 54]

My confidence increased. I looked at my enemies and smiled.
