Chapter 283: The Flame Dragon's Tribulation

Name:Infinite Potential System Author:

William was unable to hold his breath any longer, a slight amount of miasma entering his lungs and forcing him to cough. His Poison Resistance Talent was already detoxifying the poison, but the Spell had some sort of weakening effect that would persist for a few minutes at least.

It wasn't safe to remain inside the Spell any longer.

"Damnit, you're crazy!" William shouted as he released his hold on the Original Strengthening Spear and flew out of the poisonous miasma.

He was greeted by a wave of Fireballs and Ice Spikes mixed in with mental attacks, but William waved his hand and slowed them all to a standstill using the Time Element.

He looked up at Flame Dragon Uri, cursing when he saw that the Complete Barrier Arrays he had cast were almost broken already. Two Soul Formation Cultivators had separated from the rest of the group and were currently doing their best to interrupt Uri's Tribulation.

"Why can't you just fight fair!" William complained. He was fighting one hundred to one even if Uri was counted in the mix, yet his opponents wouldn't so much as take him on alone.

"You expect us to fight fair against a criminal? Grow up!" Perion shouted from afar.

"Oh, I forgot about you." William looked at the man responsible for this whole mess, causing Perion to avert his eyes nervously. He was no coward, but something about William's expression suggested that he had just returned to the list of targets.

He waited for the poisonous miasma to clear up, then rushed towards the now-dead Soul Formation Cultivator to retrieve the spear that he had lost, only to find out that someone had stored the item in their Space Ring.

"Fuck! Alright which one of you took it!" William shouted as he released twenty Complete Array Puppets wielding various weapons and spread them across the battlefield in groups of three.

The Heavenly Tribulation raged on, sending Lightning Bolt after Lightning Bolt down on Flame Dragon Uri, who tanked all of the damage with his scales alone.

He peeked at the Tribulation Transcendence Cultivators, only to realize that one had fully exhausted his Mana while the other was missing his heart and needed time to recover. It was clear that the situation wasn't as dire as he initially thought.

When he saw William tearing through Soul Formation-level Artifacts with ease, Uri realized that his Master was even more impressive than his initial evaluation. Since William currently possessed strength even superior to his own, Uri no longer had any reason to doubt the boy.

Two Heavenly Lightning Bolts merged together midair and struck Uri at incredible speed, knocking a scale loose from his body. The dragon roared at the air and fiercely slapped his tail upwards, splitting an identical merged Bolt in half.

Before his tail could return to its previous position, another merged Bolt had formed, reaching Uri's body in an instant and knocking loose another scale. His expression turned serious as the color of the clouds turned a light yellow, signifying that something about Uri had infuriated the Heavens.

At the same time, William opened up his Life Domain and directed all of its energy to slowly heal Uri's wing, redirecting some of his Puppets to block the Soul Formation Cultivators that tried to get in his way.

He can even upgrade his Magic Affinity? I assumed Atticus was an exception since he's a Mythical Beast, but I guess not. I wonder how strong his flames will be...

William's Life Domain was very strong, but it still took almost half a minute to repair the damage to Uri's body, costing him a large amount of Mana in the process.

He retracted the Domain once Uri's wing was back to perfect condition, then opened the Summoning Domain and Blessing Domain at the same time to buff his newly upgraded companion.

A white glow enveloped Uri as he felt his strength double from the effects of the twin Domains, his blood boiling with excitement as he roared at the pair of Soul Formation Cultivators that tried to interrupt him.

The soundwave blasted both Cultivators backwards by nearly a kilometer, their bodies tumbling out of control as they tried to regain their footing. Before his roar ended, Uri's mouth glowed a brilliant red and orange light, blinding everyone within a radius of one hundred kilometers as if the sun had descended upon Blue Moon City.
