The Tribulation continued like normal, each Chasm Guard passing with ease. The Plains Vultures released low, guttural hisses to the sky to declare their decisive victory, but they didn’t have more than a moment of rest before they sensed another Tribulation brewing.
William remained concealed with the Illusion Element, which seemed to properly conceal him from the Heavens. With his insane Mana Regeneration, William wouldn’t have to worry about running out any time soon, but he wondered if the Stealth Talent would conceal him at higher Ranks.
From Foundation Establishment to the Golden Core Realm, the Plains Vultures continued to undergo one Tribulation after the next. Their strength was increased to handle each test with ease, but their injuries weren’t healed before the upgrade.
William was forced to secretly use Life Magic to heal the Vultures before each Tribulation, but he was able to do so while still concealed, so he wasn’t discovered a second time.
At the end of the last Tribulation, the Plains Vultures finally reached the Nascent Soul Realm.

Perception moderately improved.
Next rank up: 2000PP

Only 2 new abilities with all those upgrades? And other than Perception, none of their other stats were improved more than slightly.
System, how does this work?
-The number of abilities your Companion Beasts can learn depends on their Rarity. Since they’re only Uncommon, the Plains Vultures are lucky to learn even one ability. If they were Common Rarity, your Beasts probably wouldn’t learn a single new ability until the Tribulation Transcendence Realm.
Does that mean the Strength, Speed, and other stats work the same way? Are they Nascent Soul Beasts with weak combat power?
-They are Nascent Soul Beasts with slightly above-average combat power. These stats are slightly improved with each level, but they are base statistics. If a normal Nascent Soul Cultivator has 100 Strength, these creatures have 110.
While he trusted the System, he could sense that it was wary of these beings. Unless the System was at a level above the Heavens, William couldn’t be confident.

William moved on to the other Lightning Veins in the general vicinity. Instead of five Lesser Veins, the chasm only had three, each positioned an equal distance from the next. He absorbed the other two just as fast as the first, also diverting the Heavens’ aura back into the environment.

-The Chasm is in chaos. A Beast Tide is forming.
William’s vision picked up a dark mass rising up from the ground in the distance, which condensed into dozens of Foundation Establishment Stone Golems, as well as almost a hundred Qi Refinement Lightning Scorpions.
Instead of teleporting to the group and wiping them all out in one move, William waited in silence for his Chasm Guards to act.
He didn’t have to wait long, as Chasm Guard One’s head snapped towards the newly formed Magical Beasts. It grunted, which spurred two Chasm Guards into action.
The other seven Chasm Guards remained in place, while the two Nascent Soul Beasts took flight and called Darkness Mana to their open beaks, releasing two identical pillars of Darkness at the group of Magical Beasts.
BOOM! The Darkness Spells landed at the same time, spreading into a black miasma that targeted their brains and killed off the entire Beast Tide without severely damaging their bodies.
-Your Companion Beasts have killed a Lightning Scorpion (x93): +94 PP
-Your Companion Beasts have killed a Stone Golem (x14): +29 PP
It didn’t surprise William that two Nascent Soul Beasts were able to do this, but he was very satisfied with Chaos Guard One’s orders.
Since the level of the enemy only peaked at the Foundation Establishment Realm, it only sent two of its subordinates to take down the Beast Tide, while the rest held their own positions.
Not only this, but the Beast’s natural instincts had kicked in, preserving the bodies so they could be eaten later. It seemed that the Vultures weren’t stupid, they just didn’t have a good understanding of Humans’ complex tools, which was understandable.
With this in mind, William gave an additional order to his Chaos Guards, asking them to preserve the non-edible Beast materials for later.
