William blinked. One moment, he was being crushed to death by a wall of text, while the next he was back in a luxurious room where the Monarch of the Dragon Continent and Riyald were both standing.

With his Time Affinity, William could tell that barely a second had passed since he entered the simulation, and neither his Master nor the Monarch were aware of his disappearance.

While Riyald and the Monarch exchanged questions, William became silent as he tried to understand what had just happened.

That Duon person... he at least has the Time and Space Elements, and... Fate slash Karma? What is that all about? Not to mention the divination, I can't make sense of it at all.

A man with heart collecting more, a boy is not prepared for what's in store... The first part is so obscure. Is the man me, or am I the boy? If I'm the man, then why would me having heart be important?

I'm probably the boy, since the rest of the divination is talking about the boy. What am I not prepared for?

There were too many questions, and not enough answers, which seemed to be the trend in this World. As his strength grew, the number of questions William had increased, rather than decreasing.

He tried to organize his thoughts in a simple manner.

I don't know much about the Heavens, I hardly know anything about the World. I don't know the relationship between the World and the Heavens at all, but at least I know what happens when World Cores are absorbed, and why the dragons of the Dragon Continent disappeared.

It seemed that humans were the reason for the dragons' disappearance, but not specifically the natives of the Dragon Continent. Instead, a now-dead branch of the Yu Royal Family was at fault, while the Heavens were the true reason.

To create Magical Beasts just to deal with humans that absorb World Cores... it's not right at all!

In William's opinion, Magical Beasts were more like the wild animals of his previous World. Regardless of how vicious they were, animals were part of the ecosystem and shouldn't be used in such a way.

"I wouldn't count on your dead as support." Riyald warned before the Monarch could finish his thought. As an old man having lived a long time, Riyald could tell when someone was planning to make a move.

"I really can't show you the chambers..." the Monarch said helplessly. No matter what happened to him, he wouldn't risk the safety of his Continent.

William looked at the Monarch silently. He previously planned to kill the Monarch the moment he proved their involvement in the disappearance of the dragons. He would search for the burial chambers on his own with the Navigation Talent and Life Sense, which probably wouldn't take long.

Now that William had experienced the simulation, however, he would feel bad knowing that they were completely innocent. Not to mention he might lose Humanity points if he was too forceful.

Instead, he decided to bargain. "Monarch, Sir. What Elements do you use?"

"Lightning and Plant Magic, why do you ask?"

William pulled out the Lightning and Plant Dials from his Space Ring, both of which had been collecting dust in his Space Ring for a long time. "If I give you these, will you consider allowing my Master and I to visit the burial grounds?"

"This..." the Monarch hesitated to give a response. He could tell at a glance that the two Artifacts were designed to improve the quality and quanity of both Lightning and Plant Magic by a considerable amount. In an auction, these would be priceless treasures fought over by anyone.

But William just casually brought them out!

"Don't misunderstand. If you decline my offer, we will still be going to the burial grounds. You really don't have a choice." William added.

"Then I suppose I must accept." the Monarch replied as he took the two Dials from William. "I'll take you there whenever you're ready."

"We're ready now." William nodded as he exchanged glances with Riyald. The Monarch had a subordinate open a series of short-distance portals until they arrived at the base of a small hill, where William could see a large number of complex Arrays dotting its surface.

They were all improved Perfect Arrays, but the sheer number made them almost comparable to a Tier 6 Array. While they could be destroyed by attacks at the Soul Formation level, it would probably take years if not decades.

The entrance to the burial ground was opened, and the Monarch ushered them both through a wide tunnel fit for three people side by side. While they walked, torches lit up on either side in a methodical manner until they reached a large opening.
