Book 4: Chapter 8: Unrepentant Warfarin
“Let you go? Why should I let you go? So that you can suck my blood? Furthermore, speaking of illegal, you rushing at me to suck my blood is illegal, right?”
“You misunderstand. I am actually a Vampire with great self-control, unlike my kinsmen.”
“Like I believe you. Who was it who rushed at me earlier? Let me tell you this. Addiction to sucking blood is still an addiction. Since it is an addiction, I need to use the Electric Therapy King’s method to treat you.”
“Electric Therapy King?”
Although Warfarin did not know who the Electric Therapy King was, she would soon understand his methods.
Chen Heng took out a small knife from his portable spatial storage and made a small cut on his arm. Then he squeezed out some blood into a test tube.
Don’t ask why Chen Heng did not use a syringe; he did not know how to use one. He was not a doctor; how would he know how to use a syringe?
However, he needed to use the syringe after this.
He took the syringe Warfarin used to draw his blood earlier, sucking all the blood in the test tube into that syringe.
“Do you want it?” Chen Heng waved the syringe. Then he pointed the needle at Warfarin and nudged the plunger, pushing out a drop of blood, which hung there.
“Give me! Give me!” Warfarin arched her head up, craving to drink that drop of blood. However, the needle tip was a distance from her; she could not reach it.
“No. It looks like you are still addicted to blood. You need to receive electrocution therapy.” Chen Heng retracted the drop of blood into the syringe. Then he raised his left hand, which had electricity leaping about, and extended it towards Warfarin.
“Aaaaargh!”
Chen Heng had excellent control over the current, able to cause pain without damaging the body.
“Do you still want it?”
“I don’t want it!” Even a fool would know to answer no. Warfarin was no simple-minded fool that only moved on instinct.
“Really?” Chen Heng removed the needle from the syringe. Then he pushed out half a drop of blood.
This half drop of blood would never fall off. Chen Heng placed the needleless syringe near Warfarin’s mouth.
“I’m warning you. If you drink again, I will increase the current.”
“Bring it on! Bring it! Let the storm rage stronger!” Warfarin now appeared solemn, like a righteous warrior willing to sacrifice her life for the greater good. However, wasn’t focusing such spirit on drinking Chen Heng’s blood a little wasteful?
Chen Heng cut the same spot as before, as it had already healed. This time, he squeezed out more blood, preparing to repeat the therapy several more times. He did not believe he could not get her to kick this bad habit.
------
This was already the thirty-sixth electrocution. This time, Chen Heng increased the current to the limits of human endurance. However, Warfarin still tried to drink the blood in the syringe above her after being electrocuted.
After so many electrocutions, Chen Heng concluded that the physiques of Terra residents were stronger than his own world’s.
He Who Knows Fate: @Kal’tsit, I’ve already electrocuted her many times, but she shows no sign of repenting.
Kal’tsit: That is normal. If she could change, she would not be Warfarin. As a pure human, you would be a Vampire’s most desired food.
He Who Knows Fate: ...
Kal’tsit: Actually, you don’t have to focus on getting Warfarin to stop thinking about your blood. That is impossible. However, you can shift your focus to letting her know she cannot obtain your blood unless you are willing.
After hearing Kal’tsit’s suggestion, Chen Heng shifted his gaze back to the chain-bound Warfarin with messy clothes and a flushed face. Even now, she looked at Chen Heng with great anticipation.

Ten minutes later, Shining knocked on the examination room’s door, preparing to take him away. However, Chen Heng was the one who opened the door, and Warfarin was lying on the bed with untidy clothes. Furthermore, her expression and complexion were extremely strange.
“...Did I interrupt?” Shining had expected Chen Heng to be the one on the bed while Warfarin stood by the bedside. However, the reality was the opposite.
“What are you thinking? I was just having a friendly chat with Doctor Warfarin as intimate friends. We reached an understanding in the end.” Chen Heng shrugged, hinting that Shining had impure thoughts.
“Erm...” Shining found herself speechless.
“Alright, it’s time to go. There’s no need to care about Warfarin. What are we doing next?”
“There’s nothing else after storing your blood in the blood bank. I’ll send you out. The medical department is difficult to navigate.”
