Book 5: Chapter 32:2: Honkai God, Write Me an IOU, Part 2

“I can only be considered a portion of God’s strength, but God’s consciousness resides within me. What do you think of my proposal? Are you interested in being a Herrscher? I can give you God’s power.” The little white figure maintained her arrogant posture on the stone throne. While she did not open her mouth, Sirin’s voice echoed in the pure-white space.

“Elder Brother, why do I feel that this little white figure is babbling? Also, why do these world consciousnesses or gods like to use my appearance? Is it because your younger sister is too beautiful?” Sirin asked Chen Heng as she touched her face narcissistically.

“Younger Sister, don’t be so conceited. The newborn world consciousness took your appearance because you fed it. As for the Honkai God...well, let me ask you this: would you rather become a beautiful girl or a crude man?”

“Isn’t it still because I am beautiful? You said it, beautiful girl.”

“Younger Sister, do you know you ended the conversation with that? Your thoughts are truly unique.”

“Human, I’m asking you a question.” Sirin’s voice resounded again.

“Ah! Right! Honkai God, right? Sorry, my bad. I do not have any intention of becoming a Herrscher. I respectfully decline to become an inhuman creature. Ouch!” Towards the end of Chen Heng’s words, Sirin pinched the soft flesh at his waist and twisted hard.

Although Chen Heng did not feel any pain, he cried out so as not to hurt Sirin’s feelings.

“Why? Is becoming a Herrscher bad?”

“It’s bad, extremely bad. If I become a Herrscher, I cannot guarantee the purity of my bloodline.” Chen Heng shook his head and decisively refused.

What a joke! I have a bona fide transcender’s bloodline. How can I give it up for your meager strength?

“Oh? Are you not afraid of me killing you for this answer?” This time, the echoing Sirin’s voice contained a threatening tone.

Honestly speaking, Chen Heng felt quite excited to hear these threatening words in Sirin’s voice. This was a queen-like version of Sirin. Excellent! I shall train Sirin to develop in this direction.

“Don’t say that. Fighting and killing are not good. Wouldn’t sitting down and chatting be better?”

“Who are you lying to? You don’t really think I can’t threaten your main body, right? Rather, do you look down on the force sealed in this necklace? Just killing one clone before me? How can that be? Once my necklace activates, not to mention your clone, even your true body will die.” Chen Heng shook the ancestral necklace in his hand.

Chen Heng was not lying. After all, these were attacks sealed by his ancestor, who could threaten the entire world. How could they simply destroy the clone before him? That would be like shooting a mosquito with a cannon.

It was just like how his ancestor could use the ancestral crystal as an intermediary to kill all the non-Chen-Clan people who had used the crystal. This attack could also kill the true body of the enemy by using the clone as an intermediary.

“...” After some silence, the little white figure decisively submitted because the necklace posed too grave a threat to her.

“Isn’t it just one Herrscher Core? Take it.” The little white figure waved. Then a green Herrscher Core appeared before Chen Heng and Sirin.

Sirin conscientiously placed the Herrscher Core in her Mental Defense Ring. In fact, the ring also had a spatial storage function.

“Are you satisfied now? If you are, get the hell out.”

“Are you sure there’s just one Herrscher Core and not four? Keep playing tricks, and I’ll kill you and take the Herrscher Cores myself.” This couldn’t fool Chen Heng, as he had seen the original storyline.

“Tsk! Take them.” Between her life and the Herrscher Cores, the little white figure chose her life. The Herrscher Cores were not valuable anyway.

Although the little white figure was uncertain whether this person could kill her true body, she did not want to risk it; better safe than sorry.

“I’ve given you the Herrscher Cores already. Are you satisfied now? Get out!” How is this calling in two prospective subordinates? These two are simply troublemakers.

“No, no, no. I’m not satisfied yet. Who are you trying to send off with these mere trinkets?” After Sirin put away the other three cores, Chen Heng eyed the little white figure with disdain.

“What more do you want? I only have a portion of my power sealed here. That is all I can take out.”

“No way. This still feels like I’m losing out. You threatened me, but I only got four trashy cores. The more I think about it, the more I feel I lost out. How about this? Write me an IOU.”
