Book 5: Chapter 46:1: Re:Lifer Tohsaka Rin, Part 1
“That would be tough. Being an official organization, the Dimension Administrators Association is quite strict about unauthorized transmigration. Bringing non-members to other worlds is next to impossible. As for the world I’m talking about, it is called Type-Moon. We’d specifically visit the timeline of Fate/Zero, which is the Fourth Holy Grail War. Perhaps you’ve heard of it?”
“I do know of it. We even have a re:lifer named Tohsaka Rin from Fate/Zero in our Re:Life Chat Group. Furthermore, a group member uploaded an anime related to the Fourth Holy Grail War. It’s from their world.”
[TL Note: Tohsaka Rin is one of the main characters from Fate/stay night; she also appears as a minor character in Fate/Zero and a few other Fate series. Here is more information about her: /wiki/Rin_Tohsaka.]
“Tohsaka Rin? A re:lifer?”
“That’s right!”
“Explain it to me, Qingtong,” Chen Heng urged, unsure if Tohsaka Rin’s world was the one he planned to visit. After all, the Type-Moon universe had many parallel worlds, and it was better to be safe than sorry.
Chen Heng had grown more open-minded since joining the Dimension Administrators Association. He had encountered so many events of such low probability that he no longer ruled out strange coincidences.
Eager to take center stage, Mo Qingtong shared what she knew. “Hehe! Summarizing what Tohsaka Rin herself said and the two anime series about the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars, uploaded by another group member, Tohsaka Rin originally lived during the time of the Fifth Holy Grail War. The story followed the same trajectory as in the anime, with the commencement of the Fifth Holy Grail War. However, things went haywire because of a transmigrator. Tohsaka Rin killed the transmigrator but died and then re:lived.”
“That is indeed a remarkable coincidence. However, that doesn’t necessarily confirm it’s the same world. Once I’m there, you can inquire more from Tohsaka Rin. Ask her if any changes have occurred in the Holy Grail War rules of her world. If so, you and Luo Li can join me. The Dimension Administrators Association’s stance on transmigrators is straightforward—if you don’t cause trouble, we won’t meddle. Still, the likelihood of us ending up in the same world isn’t high, so don’t get your hopes up.”The source of this content nov(el)bi((n))
Chen Heng didn’t mind Mo Qingtong and Luo Li joining him. In fact, he had been contemplating inviting them into the association. He had nine more association invitation letters in his possession, and it would be a waste not to use them.
This was a perk designed to free association members from the limitations of the stances of people in the Type-Moon world.
“Elder Brother, I beg you. I really want to go. I promise I’ll behave,” Sirin pleaded after seeing that Chen Heng didn’t immediately refuse. She flung herself into Chen Heng’s arms and rubbed against him.
Chen Heng always treated Sirin as a younger sister, but he couldn’t deny that Sirin was incredibly adorable and beautiful. Given her recent psychological struggles, he thought this trip to a different world could serve as a vacation. His heart softened, and he finally gave in.
“Alright, if you want to go, you’ll have to be the Master, and I’ll be the Servant. Remember, don’t misuse your Command Spell, Sirin. While I don’t think the Command Spell has much control over me, there may be some effects if multiple Command Spells are used together.”
“What’s a Command Spell?” Sirin asked, unfamiliar with the term.
Being a recent addition to the association, she hadn’t had time to catch up on all the anime lore. She was clueless about these terms.
“What? Ah Heng, you’re becoming a Servant, and Sirin has Command Spells?” Even if Sirin didn’t understand, Mo Qingtong did.
Mo Qingtong was envious. Possessing a Command Spell meant one could control a Servant freely. Furthermore, there were three Command Spells. The thought made her chuckle, but she stopped quickly upon remembering she wasn’t the Master.
Why can’t I be the one to accompany Chen Heng? Why aren’t I the Master? I knew Ah Heng first and had intimate contact with him already.
Sirin was now a growing threat in Mo Qingtong’s eyes.
