Book 6: Chapter 40:2: Rebellious Disciple, Meet Your Fate! Part 2

Chen Heng gazed at his breakfast, then at the desperate messages from Satou Kazuma on the Dimension Administrators Association. With a heavy heart, he left his meal untouched.

“Master, I’m skipping breakfast. I need to go,” Chen Heng told Fu Hua apologetically.

“Why the rush? You should eat first before going.”

“Never mind. It’s alright. I’ll get Satou Kazuma to compensate for my breakfast when I get there.”

Chen Heng scratched his head before pressing the button for a transmigration request. Shortly after, Satou Kazuma agreed to the request. Then a black hole appeared in front of Chen Heng.

It has been a long time, little black hole.

Fu Hua eyed Chen Heng’s nearly full plate with disappointment. She wanted him to experience what was known as heaven and hell with a single thought, so she hid some wasabi beneath the fried rice. It would take another three or four bites to reach the extremely spicy wasabi. Unfortunately...

Fu Hua did not know whether Chen Heng purely got lucky or had used his Absolute Precognition to discover the wasabi hidden in his breakfast.

Chen Heng stepped through the black hole and found himself atop a castle tower. Satou Kazuma stood beside him, dressed as an adventurer.

“Big Brother Chen Heng, you made it!” Kazuma exclaimed, excitedly wrapping his arms around Chen Heng.

“Let go! Let go! Alright, alright! Isn’t just one Destroyer? I’ll help you deal with it. Quickly let go.” Chen Heng eyed Satou Kazuma with disdain. Then he pried apart Satou Kazuma’s arms, which were firmly wrapped around him.

“Kazuma, is this the Big Brother Chen Heng you spoke of, the helper you called over?” At this moment, a worried Megumin, standing beside Satou Kazuma on the castle tower, shifted her attention to Chen Heng, who had suddenly appeared.

[TL Note: Megumin is a wizard who knows only explosion magic. She exhausts herself after just one cast of her explosion magic. Here is more information about Megumin: /wiki/Megumin.]

Megumin’s worry was because of that infamous Mobile Fortress Destroyer. She had heard of this thing before.

The Mobile Fortress Destroyer, a rampaging ancient weapon created by a technologically advanced civilization, was said to ravage the land, not leaving even a blade of grass in its wake. It was a horror that had destroyed the technologically advanced civilization that created it.

“The Coronatite? Is that thing useful?” Satou Kazuma felt stunned, not having expected Chen Heng to ask this.

“I don’t know. In any case, I think it should be quite precious. You’ve already been here for so long. Don’t you know?”

Chen Heng waved his hand to convey his ignorance. The Coronatite sounded like it was a specialty of this world. How would he know if it would be useful?

“I don’t know, either. I only just knew about the mobile fortress today. Furthermore, that thing is about to explode. Can it be used?”

The two men looked at each other, unsure. Their gaze shifted to Megumin, hoping the wizard from the Crimson Demon Village would have some answers.

“Huh? Don’t look at me. I’m not sure, either.” Megumin was already quite anxious when she suddenly saw the two focus on her, making her even more anxious. Her legs tightened, clamping down on her magic staff.

“You don’t know anything at all? Then what use are you?” Satou Kazuma looked at Megumin with disdain on his face.

“I do know something, alright. Coronatite is an extremely rare gem said to burn eternally.” Seeing Satou Kazuma’s disdainful expression, she rebutted, spilling everything she knew about Coronatite.

“That’s all?” Nothing else? That is it?

“That’s all. Really, there’s nothing else. Don’t look at me like that. I’ve already said it. It is supposedly extremely rare. How would I know much about it?” Megumin could not take this contempt lying down. Few people knew about this thing.

“So, can that thing be repurposed?”

“I don’t know.” Megumin shook her head innocently.

“If you don’t want it, then I’ll keep the Coronatite.” Chen Heng’s stance was that if they weren’t sure if they could use it, he would take it.

Chen Heng planned on studying this Coronatite to see if he could do something with it.

This thing sounds incredible. I hope it will be useful.
