While Line and Lefiya didn’t seem surprised, Alicia was surprised when they moved so fast and just met a few monsters along their path. After all, even if the map of the dungeon had been spread and could be gotten in the guild, it was impossible to determine the location of the monsters. Whether it was staying in a group or staying alone, they could only be careful and rely on their luck, so they wouldn’t be surrounded by monsters.
If they were a Level 5 or higher, they wouldn’t care about those monsters even if they were surrounded. After all, they were just on the middle floors.
However, they were only Level 3 and Level 4 adventurers. Even if they wouldn’t be troubled by those monsters on the middle floors, it was troublesome to fight a group of monsters.
Unexpectedly, under Tsukasa’s guidance, they could walk freely in the dungeon and arrived at the 17th Floor at a speed that no one could imagine. They had only fought a few monsters and didn’t need to waste their time. They were able to keep their stamina optimal and wouldn’t need to worry about getting tired.
“Do you have a map in your head or something?” Alice asked curiously at Tsukasa.
“No, my sense of smell is so good that I can search for the best route for us.” Tsukasa looked at Alice and said, “If you don’t believe me, I can tell your favorite food from your smell alone.”
“Oh? What’s my favorite food?” Alice asked curiously with a smile.
“Mushroom,” Tsukasa said with a thoughtful expression since he wanted to see Alicia taste his mushroom.
“….” Alice was in a daze before she looked at Line and Lefiya, and the two only nodded since they knew his sense of smell was really that amazing. They even believed Bete, who was a werewolf, would lose to Tsukasa’s sense of smell if they ever competed with each other.
“We’re going to arrive soon.” Tsukasa reminded everyone since they were about to enter the 18th Floor, Riveria. He was curious and quite restless since, he must admit, it was fun doing an adventurer. However, he knew that even if being an adventurer was fun, it was dangerous, and with his teammates, he needed to protect them.
After all, it was easy to do everything alone, but it was a different matter when they were in a group.
Also, Tsukasa only realized that he might have the cliche women’s party only in the cliche reincarnation story, which made him quite speechless. However, this couldn’t be blamed on him since Loki was only interested in cute girls. As for guys, Loki didn’t have much interest, so she didn’t invite many of them unless they really had an ability that could help her Familia.
As for the future, more and more talented women would probably join because of his reputation, and it made Loki laugh happily, which made him speechless.
Anyway, Tsukasa didn’t need to think too much about this matter and stepped forward toward the 18th Floor, Riveria.
The three girls could see Tsukasa was excited and laughed, following him without hesitation.
As for Lefiya, she quickly reacted and shook her head furiously since she was afraid, afraid her love for Ais-san would be swayed!
The three had gotten used to Lefiya, so they didn’t say anything. Instead, they kept walking while marching while reminding Lefiya not to be left behind.
“Wa-Wait!”
When Lefiya trotted to chase after them, Tsukasa entered the 18th Floor, the Riveria.
The dim light turned bright as if there was a sun in this place.
Tsukasa couldn’t help but whistle and thought this might become the best city inside the dungeon. If not, it might be better than most of the cities in this world.
While they walked, Tsukasa listened to Line’s explanation about the light on this Floor.
What’s so special about the 18th Floor, Riveria, was its sky. It might be an underground dungeon, and it would be impossible for light or even sun to enter this place. However, strangely, it existed, and all of this was because of the blue crystals latched to the ceiling and the giant white crystal in the center, which changed their glow based on them.
Like above ground, it had a cycle of “morning,” “noon,” and “night.”
Somehow watching those crystals above, Tsukasa thought the white crystal reserved the sun, and the blue crystals resembled the blue sky, which made him amazed by this place.
Still, what’s so special about this place wasn’t only about the crystals or how monsters wouldn’t be born on this Floor, but it was how this place was managed by the adventurers.
“Is this place really managed by adventurers?” Tsukasa asked.
“Yes.” Line nodded.
“…..” Tsukasa was silent and thought humans were really amazing. They even dared to try a poisonous mushroom or even a unique shape of fish, so making a city inside a dangerous dungeon should be normal, right?
Anyway, it was a good thing that one had a place to rest inside the dungeon.
“By the way, what’s that number? 334?” Tsukasa was curious when he saw the banner at the entrance of the city.
“Oh, it means the 334th of Riveria. In other words, this town has been destroyed and fixed 334 times,” Alicia said with a smile.
“….” Tsukasa and Lefiya were lost for words. If it was someone else, someone might have already given up if they had failed a few times. It was amazing that the people in this city didn’t give up and kept rebuilding 334 times.
Still, Tsukasa looked at Lefiya and wondered why this girl seemed so clueless.
Anyway, even if this place was a safety point where no monsters would be born, there was no telling what was happening in the dungeon. Sometimes monsters from the other floors would invade this city, or even an irregular might appear. By that time, the adventurers could only go back to the above city and return when everything returned.
However, Tsukasa must admit that this place was expensive. He could see the potion, which was sold quite cheaply at the above, was sold five times the original price. Still, this wasn’t weird since it was exclusive, and it was hard to transport the goods to this place. After all, they had to face many monsters.
Also, not everyone had the power of Level 5 or had a good sense of smell like Tsukasa. Most of them were Level 2, who bet their lives on this trade.
While it might be dangerous, it might be part of their lives.
It had nothing to do with him since his only goal was to become stronger, but he didn’t hate such people.
“Well, let’s go deeper,” Tsukasa said after he had enough of observing the town.
The three nodded and walked to follow him to the deeper Floor.
On the other hand, the people in this city didn’t bother them since Line, Lefiya, and Alicia were famous adventurers of the Loki Familia. If they didn’t want to be troubled by the strongest Familia in the world, it was better to mind their own business.
Still, Tsukasa’s appearance attracted them, and they were in a daze when they saw him. They might have seen him being portrayed in the picture sold by many artists on the Orario.
However, Tsukasa didn’t know those pictures would cause him really, really huge trouble.
