"Sin-Luu is the castle town, compared to nobility and power...? That's another story that's going to hang Lara's eyebrows when she hears it..."
After the close of business, it was Vina-Lou who raised his voice in that way.
"Uh, and you said you wanted to call Sin-Luu to Castle Town because you're talking about a noble daughter. Lara's hair and her face are going to turn bright red."
Rudd-Lou, who responds that way, has a slightly less serious face.
"Speaking of which, Sin-Lu, who was made to dress as a soldier or something in Castle Town, was awesome and Rimi was making a scene. I can't imagine anything about me, but did Sin-Lu look so good that such noble daughters would climb up?
This is the word directed at Tour-Din, who was cleaning up the next stall.
Tour-din mumbles "Ah, eh," then eventually nods small.
"Both Sin-Luu and Ai-Fa looked somewhat unlikely to be folks by the woods. It may not be much of a compliment, but that may have been what I saw as a nobleman."
"Hmm. I guess I'll just have to hope it doesn't get as troublesome as it did when I was Sister Raina. I don't think they're prepared to abandon their aristocracy and become son-in-laws or daughters-in-law by the woods."
…………
"There are people in the world who wish to be son-in-law until they abandon their god instead of their status. Such an insane person is."
"I thought I'd say wow... Rudd is so loud..."
Poor Vina-Lou dyes her cheeks colorfully and her brother laughs "heh heh heh".
"Then let's retreat early. I have a lot to do today."
Under my decree, we set foot on a busy street.
It is a large area called five stalls in four luggage cars and 28 humans in six totototos. Though the ladies without work to pull the load are drawn to the carrier, if the people by the woods run in this number of people, the degree of attention is not half as high.
Saying goodbye to Yumi, who is still open, passing past the tent of "A Seat of Gamleys", which is showing a lot of buzz, we even turned our legs south.
A group that returns stalls to their inns, a group that buys vegetables for tomorrow, a group that brings large quantities of copper coins to their exchangers, a group that goes to order dishes and roofs - plus today, there were groups that go to other stalls for tasting. Naudis from The Great Tree Pavilion in the South started serving snack stalls last night, so me and Raina-Lou and the three of us at Tool-Din had a plan to give it a taste.
"Well, when you're done with your work, meet me at Kimmus's Tail Pavilion."
"Yeah, I'm not careful..."
The three of us are accompanied by Ai-Fa, Rudd-Lou and Rau-Ray, who will be the first to leave. Naudis' stalls were also in a fairly southern position in the outdoor area.
"Oh, this is certainly a lot of buzz"
As Raina-Lou put it, there were nearly ten customers in line there. Lunch peaks should have passed because we've already gone around the two moments downstairs, but there's still no sign of customers pulling.
When we formed at the end of the line, the people of the south, who had lined up before us, looked back a long way.
"What, are you going out of your way to serve copper coins and eat giva dishes from other stores?
I guess it's a statement based on knowing our identity. I smile lovingly, "Yes."
"I have been very interested in what dishes are being offered for sale because I have been so kind to this husband"
"Oh, you're sure of my husband's arm here. I got lost too, but I decided to buy this dish today."
Saying so, the person laughed more.
"I'm going to your stall tomorrow. I don't think so, but don't rest during the festival, okay?
"Yes, of course."
Apparently, he was a regular instead of knowing. The people of Jagal and Sim have a lot of similar looks, so it's hard to tell.
Naudis greeted us with a smile, "Welcome," as our order turned around if we did so.
"Oh, Rayna-Lew to Asta, thank you for your time."
In "The Great Tree Pavilion in the South", the shopkeepers serve snack stalls.
Today Naudis has a gray cloth wrapped around his head, and his loose brown hair spreads from behind. He looks a little humorous and smiling.
"Because it was such a noise last night that you couldn't stop by. I've been so excited."
"Yes, yes, that was difficult. We hope you are satisfied with both dishes we pride ourselves on"
Naudis sold two different dishes in one stall. They planted two firebowls in the stall, just like our pasta.
I didn't have to ask, and one of them was curry.
I could already guess this by scent from the time I was in line.
The other one looks like a simmer with plenty of tau oil.
Round and thin baked Poitan dough is carefully prepared, so I guess it's put up for sale in the form of an ingredient wrapped around it.
"Both your bills are one red copper coin and one divided coin. How many would you like?
"Well, two at a time, please"
There were three Kamado numbers, but this is such a half-way point, so it would be enough for half an hour at a time. For the rest, you just have to dedicate to the hunters who have more appetite than we do.
If I thought so, Rud-Lew said, "Oh, we'll ask for one at a time, too".
"Huh? Are you going to eat the Rud-Lew's, too?
"Oh. That's a giva meat dish, isn't it? It's funny how people in town cook Giva."
Speaking of which, Rud-Lew was also eating mime and yumi dishes during his escort duties.
Eating human dishes in town until the Moribe men serve copper coins is something they don't. This would also be a welcome change of heart.
"So there's three of them each. Please prepare your bill."
Saying, Naudis lumps the dish with stiffness. Rudd-Lou and the rest of the copper coins were paid for by Raina-Lou, and we received the merchandise.
Both dishes were juicy, so Naudis finished it off in the form of a bun. In this lodging town, it's a form of snacks that are strawberry and popular.
While we gave the place to the next customer, we split it it in half beside the stall and carried it to our mouths every day.
The boiling is still based on tau oil.
Plus sugar and maybe just a little bit of cinnamon-like vanilla. It has a simple but gentle flavour of Naudis, who is very good at using tau oil.
The ingredients are a simple combination of coarsely chopped Giva momomo meat and Aria with Tino with Nennon.
And the curry buns were undergoing another little evolution I didn't know about.
In the ingredients, Shima when Dikon, Ma Guigo when Satoimo, Chang when Zucchini, and all the ingredients from Jagal called Bunashi Mejimodoki were used in Shiitakemodoki.
Yet Curry Lou is also extraordinarily sweeter than when he ate before. It's sweet enough to be categorized for kids in my hometown.
You shouldn't be able to sweeten this far enough with sugar or honey. In the first place, the spicy flavors themselves were tailored a lot milder, and I felt that the flavors and richness not found in regular curries were felt.
"Naudis, how the hell is this curry made?
"Yes, sir. It only uses about two-thirds of his vegetables, and it adds a lot of Aria and Fuwano fried in that bun of milk fat. Plus the same amount of caron milk as water, and plenty of sugar and grated lamb fruit."
"I see. Is this richness from Karon's milk? Besides, I feel like it's coming from a vegetable that I don't use for curry."
"Asta and Kimmus' Tail Pavilion's husband are delicious too. I also wanted to create dishes that were so delicious and delightful to Jagal customers."
Naudis smiled as he handed that curry bun to a new customer.
"So far, he is well received, both in the stalls and in the dining room. Plus, little by little, it feels like more Jagal customers are buying. Asta also handles him in the stalls, and at this rate, I wonder if we can make it widely known that by the end of Easter he is not a Sim dish."
"Right. Besides, I would be very happy to have a curry, a bizarre dish, accepted in Genos."
To be very honest, I don't think Shima or Satoimo would ever let Ma Guigo in the curry if I were you. but it's not sticking that far out of harmony, and if people don't know the curry prototype, maybe they can accept it without discomfort. Then it seemed to me that this should be taken as a new flavour, the cuisine of my hometown combined with the cuisine of this world.
"There are not so many people in the forest who don't like the spiciness of him, so I didn't really care, but by increasing aria and fuwano, you can reduce the spiciness in this way."
Rayna-Luu, who finished each dish he broke in half, smiles and calls on Naudis.
"I didn't have that idea. I'm very impressed."
"That's frightening," Naudis smiles warmly.
"I think it's delicious," Tul-Din also said when asked what he thought next.
"Especially this dish with tau oil felt very deep, even though only sugar and a little vanilla seemed to be used"
"Oh, you have a very small amount of Jagal sparkling liquor. You can't use a lot of it because of the high value, but Jagal liquor still fits the tau oil."
I didn't even notice that. They didn't seem to have increased flavor for once, but they were enhancing the quality of this dish as an unseen merit.
"Mm-hmm. Even the Ray ladies wouldn't be around that long to cook delicious food. You're gonna feel a little sorry for me."
"Uh, but if it's him, the one that Asta and sister Raina make sounds better."
Lough Ray and Rudd Rudd are bluffing and exchanging words so that they don't sound like Naudis.
Ey-fa, who ate the remaining half slice, is face-to-face and no comment.
"Speaking of which, did the Astas get to sell out their food today, too?
"Yes, I was able to sell out just about everything on time"
"For your information, how many was that? I prepare 70 meals of two dishes at a time."
"Um, my shop has 160 meals of 'Poitan Rolls', 200 meals of 'Carbonara', and 150 meals of 'Giva Meat Eggs' with daily contributions, right? The Lew family has 350 dishes of Teriyaki Stew and 160 dishes of Myrmu Grill."
It was basically the same amount as last night, with only the daily menu being the portion that increased thirty meals.
Although it took more than an hour than last night, I am satisfied with it first because it was sold out. Naudis and others had their eyes rounded as if they were frightened.
"When I ask you again, that's a sneaky sell. If you sell 50 meals for a regular stall and 100 meals twice as long for a festival, you're supposed to be satisfied, right?
"Yeah. But Naudis is also judging 140 meals of food in one stall, right? Well, isn't that a big deal?"
"Yes, yes, there are no stalls around here that sell Giva's food. I wasn't sure if I should open a stall by Asta and the others until the end, but if there was any prospect of selling out, I didn't seem to be wrong either."
Saying so, Naudis turned his gaze toward the street.
Even if it's not Giva food, there are many snack stalls lined up. Although not as good as Naudis', every stall seems to attract quite a few customers.
"In the past few months or so, a lot of different ingredients are going to flood the Inn Town. Sugar in tau oil, milk fat in caron's milk, reten oil, mammalian vinegar, shim vanilla, numerous vegetables - and more recently, even caron's torso meat has been put up for sale. People who visit Genos for the first time will have lost their temperament."
"Yeah, I'm sure you do"
"However, there are only a limited number of shops dealing with Giva meat, and it seems equally limited that different ingredients can be used in the correct form. Even if we look at other stalls for a while, I wonder how many customers we will welcome as the days go by."
With a very smiling smile, Naudis looked confident.
I'm sure there's no human being who can handle Jagal ingredients more correctly than himself, he's complacent. In fact, it never occurred to me that Naudis jagal cuisine was as authentic a taste as Nail's Sim cuisine.
"That's why I'd like you to add about 20 servings of Giva's foot meat again from next time, how about that?
"Yes, I think it's okay. I'll check when you get back to the settlement."
"Yes, yes, thank you.... Oh please, welcome"
The customer's legs didn't seem to break, so we decided to say goodbye and leave.
Like Mime and Yumi or more, Naudis was a comforting comrade.
And Milan-Math and Nails have been added, and so many people have made the inn town aware of the deliciousness of Giva meat. This Easter will be a major turning point for the people by the woods.
With that in mind, I was able to return to the woodland settlement.
◇
Then, half an hour later.
When I returned home to the settlement of Luu after all the work had been carried out safely, Limi-Luu was somehow waiting for me at the entrance to the square.
"Sister Raina, sister Vina, welcome back! Good luck with Asta and Ai-Fa too!
"Yeah, good job.... I wonder what Limi-Lew is doing here?
"Rimi was waiting for the Astas! Donda, my dad wants to talk to you."
It's unusual for Donda-Lou to bother calling us.
In the meantime, it was only me and Raina-Lou and Rudd-Lou who had your nomination, so I turn my foot to Rudd's main house with the addition of Ai-Fa to it. Tour-Din decided to return it first in Fafa's luggage and ask him to keep his descent at Fa's house ahead of him.
"Just in time, I'll tell my father about the story from the nobles. It'll take a lot more effort."
"Yeah, you are."
Guided by Mother Meer Ray, she steps into Luu's main house.
There were not only Donda-Lou, but also Ziza-Lou and Dalm-Lou and even Grandma Ziba.
Mother Meer Ray breaks her knee next to Grandma Ziva, and the five of us, including Rimi-Lou, calm down in the outfit facing Donda-Lou and the others.
"Thank you for your hard work, Raina, Rudd.... wouldn't have gotten caught up in some crazy noise today, would they?
"Oh, it seemed like the travelers were doing their jobs normally, too."
"Right," Donda-Lou says, holding his mouth.
Donda-Lou is still bandaged around his right shoulder, with his arm hanging. Donda-Lou, who suffered the heaviest hand injuries in his death battle with the Lord of the Forest, was expected to take another month to fully heal.
"Asta, Raina and Rudd at Fa's house. Let me check with you."
"What's the matter with you? That's how it happened."
"Shut up and listen.... the oldest, Ziva, said there was no clapping."
I was surprised and looked back at Grandma Ziva.
Grandma Ziva, accompanied by Mother Meer Ray, smiles calmly with a squeaky face.
"Actually... my wife asked her parents, Donda, to go down to the lodging town in Genos..."
"What! Ziba-Lou is in the lodging town, is it?
"Oh yeah... things have changed a lot in town I guess...? How much Asta and Raina's work has changed the way things are in town... and I want to make sure with these eyes..."
I accidentally lost my word and craved the look on everyone's face, left and right.
Rimi-Lou and Rudd-Lou are decent, Raina-Lou has a serious look on his face, and Ai-Fa listens to Ms Ziba with a quiet face.
"I wonder if the last time I went down to town was twenty or thirty years ago... so that the buyout job wouldn't get stuck. Then there's no reason to go down to town... back then, people from all over town were afraid of the people from the woods... even more so because just then there was something about a man from a town who worked lawlessly against the people from the woods being killed by the hands of a hunter..."
"Oh, the sinner was captured by a guard, but the head of the family who hurt his family went out to avenge him. I don't know how you feel, but you don't."
"That's right... so how come the people by the woods are to be feared by the people in town... thanks to the Astas, the people in town have changed their minds a lot too...?
"That's not just because of the stall business, but because everyone by the woods came together to defeat the villainous nobility and Sung family."
"Yeah, I did... anyway, the woman wanted to see the change in the town of Genos before this soul was summoned to the woods..."
"The Ziva woman won't be called to the woods yet, will she?
And, incidentally, Rimi-Lou brings tears to his eyes.
Looking back at you, Grandma Ziva smiled so gently.
"Oh, my lady is so fine... so I wanted to go down to town in good health... because if I get any older, I won't even be able to be so impotent..."
"... Sure, your body could be under a lot of strain"
Think about it, and I'll give you an answer.
"I think the road from the settlement by the woods to the lodging town will rock a lot of the luggage cars as well because of the road width due to the cool slopes. It's not a big deal in time, but it's still going to cut the strength it deserves."
"But while we're in town, there's nothing dangerous about it.... That's what my dad wanted to hear, isn't it?
"Oh, yeah. You're the ones who have been most in the mood for accommodation these days. [M] Let's be frank with the elders about how dangerous it is to imitate that."
Donda-Lou's eyes were serious in themselves.
Rud-Lew shrugs his shoulders with an invincible look.
"If you chose an armed hunter as your escort last night or so, you don't have to worry about anything - you know. When you go to a busy place, you just have to get smaller on the carriage."
"Still, there are a lot of leftovers and outlaws in the Inn Town today. I didn't forget I was attacked by a guy like that last night."
It was Ziza-Lou who said so.
"Heh," Rudd-Lou snorted.
"So when those guys attacked us, we didn't take one wound, did we? If it was daylight, you'd be even safer."
"But in case anything happens to the oldest, we're going to have to take a knife, just like our parents did decades ago, right?
A large body of Ziza-Lou began to dissipate an invisible pressure on the fudge.
Rudd-Lou, who slept a lot, peeled all the way over and stood up to it.
"We just have to do everything we can to keep that from happening, right?... I mean, it doesn't make any difference what we do when we have a Ziva woman. I'm going to encourage you to work as an escort so your people don't get one scratch that anything terrible's happened, okay?
At the time I met him, Rudd-Lou, who was under pressure like a child, withstood the pressure of Giza-Lou with all his spirit.
So, Raina-Lou speaks up.
"I want you to do what the Lady Ziva wants. Because it seems very important to know with what eyes the people of the town see the people by the woods and how they are eating Gibba's food."
"Yeah! Then you'll love the town, too, Ziva lady!
In tears, he smiles and Limi-Lu also speaks.
"Hmm... does Rimi like town...?
"I love it! I met Tara in Inn Town! Dora, Yumi, Mime, Michelle, Terrier-Mass, they're all good people!
"Right..." Grandma Ziva lays down her eyes.
"I can't believe the folks at the woods love the people in town... I wouldn't have thought of that until a while ago...? So I, too, wanted to see how Limi came to look like that..."
"Isn't that nice? If you're the oldest, you should know everything."
"I think so, too. If you overlap a lot of bedding, it shouldn't be so painful to shake the road."
In the words of Rudd-Lou and Raina-Lou, Donda-Lou has pointed a sharper glance at me.
I'll sit on my stomach and give it a big nod.
"As far as escorts are concerned, I can't say for sure more than Rudd-Lou, but I also think it's very important for Ziba-Lou to know exactly what's going on.... No, I would be very happy to let Ziba-Lou, who has lived as a forest people for a long time more than anyone else, know what's going on right now"
"... well," Donda-Lou says of the giant.
"Then let's change the wishes of the oldest. The hunter of the escort, I'll let him choose.... Giza"
"Yes."
"You stay in the settlement, protect the house"
With that said, Donda-Lou grinned like a beast.
Tomorrow, I'll accompany you.
