666 South Harvest (6) - Tasting Party

Name:Isekai Ryouridou Author:Eda
Dels and Polearth's business talks were to last about a half an hour after that.

When the contract was signed, it was decided to confirm in what form the transaction would be exchanged, even to the point where it was actually made.

However, they don't have the power to make decisions about these business talks in Pole Earth. The person in charge was only a diplomat to Polearth's superiors and, furthermore, he needed authorization from Marquis Marquis Marstein of Genos. Polearth brings home the story of the day, and after consulting with the Foreign Secretary, stands up for Malstein. They needed a few days or so to be put to the vote.

"But I don't think you'll be shook to the side with this content. If there is one concern, the sales of tau oil will drop… Stick to the taste of that ingredient doesn't resemble that of tau oil, and I don't think it would affect the other ingredients that much if it were the first amount presented."

In closing those words, we are finally set to take our seats.

Wads and the like, which I have just been listening to, look like they are diligently scratching the yawn. But it was the same with me and Raina-Lou, who were in the position of being a witness. The Dells and Polearths business talks went really smoothly, so there was little occasion for us to whisper our mouths.

"So shall we go back to the cook? After this, we talked about giving Lord Varcus a taste of the Giva cuisine."

"Yes, I sincerely appreciate your listening to this unsolicited wish"

"No, no, no," Polearth waved as Raina-Lou praised.

"You can even give me a taste, so this is good value. Will the Dells take part in that tasting?

"Yes, the forest folks are here, and you're allowed to be present."

Whether or not he was satisfied with the content of the business talks, Dells remains a serious man. Either way, we decided to leave the small room and go back to the cook.

Outside the room, Barsha was in formation, so we rendezvous with it and head to the cook. Then, in front of the cook, besides Lyada-Lu and the guardian martial officer, there were some really unexpected people waiting.

"Is that it? Deal and Larvis. What are you doing here?

"You're hissing, Asta. When you visited us today, Polearth informed us."

Because of the presence of Polearth, a nobleman, Dial answered me that way in polite terms. However, there is always a raunchy grin on its face. Larvis was also on the top of the Buddha as usual, giving us a salute.

"From what I hear, Miss Deal was talking about having an acquaintance with Lord Dells' brother. Because of this, I thought maybe we could make an exchange."

I just told Polearth that Dels was once the brother of the head of the architect who invited him to the woodland feast. From there, Polearth seemed to think of the presence of Dial.

Dels, who has no idea what the situation is, looks back at the Deals with a cautious eye.

"... you have an acquaintance with the architect Balan?

Apparently Dells' polite language is activated only when it is directed at nobles. Towards you, Dial returned an uncontrolled grin, "Yes".

"Balan and I were invited to a feast by the woods together. My name is Larvis, my squire, and I am Deal of the Ironware Store."

"Oh, I see... you did, but an iron hardware store in Zeland. Sure, I've heard from my brother."

"The Astas are going to have a tasting party, right? Sudden offers like this may be rude, but can't we join you?

It seems a little unsettling because Deal is going to be polite to me. When I told him that, Polearth laughed "haha".

"Eurifia said it before, didn't she? It doesn't have to be that bad in a place like this. Shouldn't Miss Deal treat you with the usual attitude, too?

"But then, you will be rude to those of you who are beside you. This is from my father, so I want to protect it as much as possible."

"Then if Miss Deal reveals her attitude, I'll give her a mouthful from me so she can allow me to join her tasting party."

Dial glanced at his body for a moment at Por Earth with an innocent grin.

"Uh... is that not a joke, but a sincere word?

"Yeah. I'll never tell your father, so you don't have to shy away from anything."

That being said, Polearth stood his index finger in front of his own lips. Like my hometown, it seems to be a gesture of keeping secrets.

Dial went on a roundabout, looking at Larvis at the end of the day, and then nodded as though he didn't.

"Now I think I'll follow Polearth's words.... Larvis won't be able to tell his father, either, will he?

Larvis just looked back at Dial expressionlessly and didn't answer no or no.

Dial stares a little resentfully at me as he stirs his head around the darkness.

"You've already gotten weird because of Asta. If Dad finds out, it's really bad, isn't it?

"I'm sorry. But I knew Dial would look better in that tone."

"That's not the problem," he said, spilling a smile like Dial couldn't even reveal himself.

I laughed back at you, and then I turned to Raina-Lou.

"I took the liberty of proceeding with the story, but the partitioner for this story is Raina-Lou, right? Can you accept that?

"Of course it is. The dishes for taste are prepared in sufficient quantities, so if there are about a couple more people, there will be no problem."

"Thank you," he smiled, then Dial glared over Polearth. I guess I've come to wonder if this doesn't require a mouthfeel of porcelain. Polearth smiles like a toddler with a prank and turns back to the cook's door.

"Well, then let's say hello to the cook's face. You, open the door."

"Ha...", while the guard's martial officer was somewhat of an unexpected face.

Then from the side, Lyada-Lou gives a deposited voice.

"Before I do, let me tell you. There's been some noise behind this door for a while now."

"Noisy? Did someone whine but wake you up?

"Mm-hmm. I can't even hear you calling this one from Rudd-Lou in the room, so maybe it's not a big fuss at all, but I think we should be careful this time"

Polearth turned to the martial officer once again, tilting his meaty neck.

"I've agreed. Now, open the door."

"Yes, sir," samurai says, pulling open the door.

Really, there were clear signs of disturbance. If I'm not mistaken, it's Timaro's voice.

"So! This isn't just for you, is it? You should turn around a little bit of a position!

We were supposed to meet each other and then step into the cook. It seems that the Deals have not cleansed themselves, and they remain outside the door with the Lyada-Lu.

As we proceeded in that way, Timaro and Varcus were confronted in front of a large workbench. Five cooks stand behind Timaro and four disciples stand behind Varcus, watching them both in a much more laid-back manner. Jan, who was at Kama's turn a little further away, was giving us a courtesy with a smiling face.

"You're already, you're not the chef or anything in this cook! I don't remember us giving orders to you like that!

"I'm not giving you any orders. Weren't you also blind to the fact that you are wasting your ingredients"

"Which one of you is wasting ingredients! Because of you, I'm running out of ingredients because of you!

"It's what you need to do to make delicious dishes."

It was only Timaro who was stifling, and Varcus was just responding to it in his usual blurry tone.

In addition, it is easy to guess the cause of the distortion from the content of the words. Polearth smiled bitterly as he approached the Vulkas.

"That's a lot of noise. I wonder what the hell happened, Lord Varcus to Lord Timaro"

"Oh, this is... in front of you, the ugly part..."

Timaro hurried and thanked him, but quickly dazzled Varcus with angry eyes.

"Lord Varcus has wasted the ingredients because of it. Nonetheless, it has been alleged that we are wasting our ingredients… it is unforgivable."

"I have never wasted any ingredients. It's just that I was inquisitive about the herbs that go with this ingredient."

"The way it works, it's just rambling! Look at this!

Timaro grabbed the crate that was on the workbench and poked it at us. The ingredients that were neatly packed in the box have disappeared 80% of the time.

"For more than half of this, Lord Varcus has grabbed you all by himself. For a taste of vanilla, throw it away in the crumb... what do you think the ingredients are?

"I think it's an ingredient for making delicious dishes"

"That's not what I'm talking about! I'm sick and tired of acting just like your arrogant!

Timaro raised his voice again, turning his uppermost face bright red.

So Roy sighs and pulls Varcus' sleeve.

"Varcus. This is not the" Silver Star Hall "cook, and this ingredient is a precious ingredient deposited by Lord Polearth. I think Timaro speaks more plausible words."

Varcus looked at Roy on the unreadable side of his emotions.

That's how I do my hand to my chin, which is so quiet, I think, and I open my eyes and say, "Oh," doing it like a dog hit with a pebble.

"If you ask me, you're right. This ingredient was so interesting, you seem to have lost me. Lord Timaro, I am very sorry for your loss."

Timaro was about to collapse, but he was able to stay where he was.

"Then you're wrong about who you're apologizing to. As your lord Roy said, you have wasted precious ingredients from Lord Polearth."

"I never wasted it...... I was stuck being unable to contain myself. I will apologize at once."

As Varcus drooped his head, Polearth laughed with a frightening face.

"I guess the fact that Lord Varcus is so obsessed means it's an extremely valuable ingredient. But this... isn't that just how Lord Dells gets offended?

Looking back, Dells was observing these interactions with the kind of eyes he explored. That's how I shake my head "no" toward Polearth.

"We brought what was in those crates for the cooks to indulge in, so no matter how they were treated, we're not dissatisfied. If you have recognized the value of the ingredients, it is above all."

"I'm relieved to hear you say that. Of course, I'll pay for the ingredients."

"No, that's a trial item, so I'm not asking for a price."

This noise also seemed to converge because Dells handled it in a calm manner.

Still, I guess you thought you needed another word. Pole Earth turns to Varcus with a glimpse of his expression.

"Lord Varcus. When you pay for that ingredient, you're free to treat it any way you want. As Lord Timaro said, I think we should wear a little something like this."

"Yes, my deepest apologies"

I'm reflecting. I'm not doing it. Varcus was bowing his head with a fuzzy face.

Polearth speaks up "Well" in a way he regains his mind.

"Then let me finish my inquisitive time. There seems to have been an unexpected noise, but is there any change in the view that the ingredients are of great value?

"Yes, if this one sells for the same price as tau oil, many humans must want to buy it"

Timaro, who had finally regained his composure, had replied that way, and the five cooks were also nodding behind it.

"Well, we're breaking up today. Thank you for your time. Look forward to the day when you can buy this ingredient."

The five cooks graciously headed towards the kitchen door.

Then Timaro advances in "fear".

"I just heard from the cooks by the woods that we're about to start a tasting party. Will your partitioner also be in charge of Polearth-sama?

"Yeah? Well, not so much a partitioner. I just got an offer from a bunch of folks by the woods, so I put it through so I could rent this place."

"So... who should I beg forgiveness if I ask to be present?

Polearth looked back at Timaro with a decent face.

"After all, that would mean people by the woods. But this is a meeting where the Valkas try the dishes of the Lew family and Miss Mime, right?

"Yes, I also have a strong interest in what dishes the folks at the woods have made"

Polearth smiled, "Right."

"Then you can ask the folks by the woods. As you can see, a guest from Zeland just made the same offer."

Of course, Rayna-Lew never refused to do that.

In addition to a line of Varcus, however, adding Timaro to Larvis in Dial, and even Delus and Wads, is quite a different color of facial rash. I just couldn't have predicted that I would be surrounding the table with such a member.

"Shall we just start a tasting party? How about cooking?

Sheila-Lou, who was working a little further away, gives a deep salute.

"This one is ready. Which way should I carry you?

"I'll let my squire carry the food, so can you explain how to handle it? We're on our way."

The place for tasting was a room that had just been used for business discussions. Meet the Deals waiting outside the door, and we'll turn our legs to you. Along the way, Wads was speaking to Larvis.

"You have a pretty good physique, too. Where were you born?

"… I was born in Zeland. My father says it's a more southerly bloodstream."

"Right. Ah. I'm a southerner too. Ah. Maybe the south side will give birth to more ancestral returns.... the cook over there is as big as I am, and it's so funny to have three ancestors in a place like this."

"Oh, right"

With casual wads and unfathomable larvis, this was also another odd combination. Dial, at last, speaks with a whisper of Delus. If Dial found out he was doing business with a nobleman in Genos, Dels was likely to have a strong interest in her, too.

"Hey, hiccup, Asta."

And Roy called to me. Next to it, he also refrains from siri-low with a muffled face.

"That's a hiccup. Looks like you're doing great under Varcus."

"I wonder. Because of my freak master, every day is exciting and plentiful"

Ever since I mentioned it that way, Roy has kept his face close.

"So, hey, I need to talk to you... if you like, why don't you taste my food?

"Roy's cooking? That's a pleasant offer. I'd like to ask you a favor."

"Is that true? As far as I'm concerned, I wanted to do you a favor after I worked out some more flavors."

"Then why don't you do it?"

"... my brother insists that there is no way to miss this opportunity. He's a very strong brother, and he's burning his hands on you."

"You can whisper, but you can hear bad words."

Siri-Low interrupts our secret conversation all the time.

"It seems to me that your cuisine is experiencing its first completion. Of course, it's going to take a long time to get real done, but listening to the cooks by the woods at this time of year should be a lot of food."

"... and insist on it this way. I don't feel comfortable with it because it's still crude."

"That's good. I may not have a big opinion, but I'd love to be fed."

Roy breathed with a very complicated face.

"Well, when you're done tasting this one, please. I'm done for the rest of my life."

"Oh, well, can you talk to Raina-Lou through that? She's the partitioner for this meeting."

Raina-Lou, who was whispering words with Sheila-Lou, looks back at this one strangely. When Roy repeated the same words, Raina-Lou opened his eyes in a heartfelt surprise.

"I would be very happy if I could feed you your dishes. I have not yet spoken of a dish that you have served alone."

"Hmm. Actually, I wanted you to eat it after the flavor came together more"

"It's tough, Roy. … As you can see, I helped a little too, but this will be Roy's dish, which Roy devised. Stay tuned."

When Siri-Low said with perseverance, Raina-Lou responded by hissing his expression and saying, "I understand." Roy was sighing again, comparing himself to those two names.

The proposal from Roy is communicated to Polearth by Raina-Lou. "That's something to look forward to," Polearth said, smiling delightfully.

That's how we arrived in the room, each of us sat down. Raina-Lou and the others on the side of the dish watch it as it stands. Delus and the Deals were sidelined, and Timaro sat one down and sat down at the side of the Vulcas.

"Let's start with my cooking."

Mim begins to take the dishes apart as she hides her inner tension beneath a frantic smile. It was quickly turned to the table by the hands of the surnames.

"This dish is made from fruit wine, stewed with giva meat."

That was currently the dish Maim was selling on the street. It is a mime-skinned work that has finally been completed by using oil from the skin of Kimmus.

The base is red fruit liquor and lamb juice, flavoured with an emphasis on sweetness. It also highlights its sweetness with cinnamon-like vanilla, while also adding spiciness with another vanilla, with the oil of Hoboi and the oil of Kimmus' skin.

The ingredients are Giva's Momo meat and Aria, Nenon, Chumcham and Nanar. And just before I put it up for sale in the stalls, I was to be able to add some Lamampa fruit as well. The flavors and textures of Lamampa, similar to peanuts, add yet more colour to this dish. And I've always thought of it as a flavour reminiscent of Chinese cuisine, but the impression felt stronger. That was the impression of combining ethnic and Chinese cuisine.

The people who mouthed Mim's dishes were uniformly peeling their "cheeks".

Dells and Wads used to visit the stalls every once in a while, but this was the first time they had ever spoken of Mim's dishes, as they had only purchased dishes sold by the folks by the woods. Those two were carrying wooden keys in their mouths in a way that impressed them.

"It's a brilliant honor. It seems that the flavors are assembled more sophisticated than previous dishes."

To Vulcus' words, Mim said, "Thank you!" and set her cheeks on fire.

Roy, Siri-Low, etc. have a seriously-inspired look, Tartumai has the same faceless expression, and Bozzle has a grinning smile. Raising his voice in it was still the most sociable bozzle.

"No, it's a really great job. If you think about that youthfulness, you're incredible. That's Lord Michelle's successor."

"No, my father keeps telling me novels every day... but I got a little compliment on this dish"

Then I heard a strange voice from the lower seat called "Guuuu".

Seeing it, Timaro is holding his forehead in the face. Mim looked back at you with a worrying face.

"Hey, what's up? I'm sorry if it didn't fit your mouth."

"Yes, no, it's never like that... if you're that Lord Michelle's daughter, I guess it's no wonder you have so many arms"

I don't remember much talking to Timaro about Michele, but he was once regarded as the three main cooks alongside Varcus, so of course I guess I was mindful of Mim's presence. On its top face was an honest look of surprise.

"With this skill, it's not difficult to open a restaurant in Castle Town. Along with Lord Michel, are you not planning to return to Castle Town?

"Ah, yes. Since I am still immature... it is now that I have finally been able to cook my own convincing dishes. There's no way to open a restaurant or anything like that."

"I see. Well, I'm looking forward to the end of it."

Everyone was happy with Mim's cooking, so I could stroke my chest down, too. If they complain about this success, I won't be able to stand up.

By the way, Deal and Larvis had only one experience of eating this dish in the street, so they kept a well-behaved silence. Polearths, of course, is a full grin.

"… then please cook our dishes next"

With a rather tense face, Raina-Lou and Sheila-Lou began to approximate the contents of the iron pan. This is from the Lew family. I rewarmed it with this cook.

The dedication is a Nenon-based stew.

This was also a dish that had been encouraging prototyping for a long time, but finally stood out for sale on the street.

Nennon is a vegetable that is less crusty and more sweet than any carrot I know. This stew, which made it the main subject of the flavor, was so deep and rich that the cream stew had a very mellow taste.

Caron's milk and red and white fruit liquor are also used, adding vanilla spiciness as a hidden flavour. Giva meat is cut into horns and rose meat thinly. The slightly lean shoulder meat is also simmered softly enough to easily unwind in the mouth, leaving the fat loose rose meat with a firm bite. To combine those textures, we divide the timing of throwing them in the pan.

Other ingredients are mushrooms similar to aria, chacci, nanar, ma pra, onda, and mushrooms.

Apart from those ingredients, they even add up to Kimmus' bone gala stock, so I guess I could embody a deep flavor so far. The moment I mouthed that dish, Roy was shouting "Oh".

"I expected it, but you taste exceptionally better. I mean, it was a great success, but it took me nearly the full moon to make it even more complete."

Roy, Bozzle and Siri-Low once spoke of this dish at the feast of rapprochement. Rayna-Lew nodded "yes" with a sure face.

"How about some flavor? I hope I haven't let you down."

"I told you the flavor was exceptionally good. That's all I'm saying."

After stating so, Roy turned his mouth to Siri-Low.

"I knew I wouldn't allow a compromise, so I could cook all this food. I guess it's premature to reveal my dishes."

"You're having a bad time forever. Do not do what you decide to do once and for all."

"I decided it wasn't you, not me."

The conversation between the two had been done in a whisper, but it had also been properly delivered to the ears of the superior Polearths.

"Lord Roy is going to serve food after this, too. If that's what I know, I'm very excited."

"Huh? Is Polearth being spoken of Roy's cooking?

When I raised my voice in surprise, Polearth nodded, "Yeah."

"Before this, at the mansion of the Earl of Saturas. On behalf of Lord Varcus, who is ill, Lord Roy has created a stunning Giva dish."

"Giva food?," now he was to speak up at the same time as Raina-Lou. Sheila-Lou is also looking at Polearths with an open eye of the slit head.

"Yeah, well, I'd be interested if I talked about it with excitement. Let's look forward to seeing what dishes are served."

Polearth grinned and Roy was sighing.

Raina-Lou stared at Roy for a while, but eventually turned his gaze to Varcus, as he shook it off.

"So... how was our dish, Varcus?

"It was delicious," Varcus said, wiping his mouth with woven cloth. While everyone was talking, I was finishing up the Rayna-Lew dishes.

"You seem to be growing eye-catching, too. You may have said the same before, but I don't think I doubt that this will ever be served as the dish of Lord Asta."

After stating so, Vulcus tilted his neck slightly.

"It's just... this way of handling vanilla reminds me more of Lord Michel than of Lord Asta. Are things around there still handled by Lord Michelle?

"Ah, yes. Lately, Michelle is so much better than Asta that she's been doing it for so long... I still think the impact is huge"

"I see. How confusing it is to be handled at the same time by two different methods.... Well, I guess it's not as hard as Roy"

"Yes? What happened to Roy?

Varcus clasped his mouth and glanced at Roy. It's a hassle, so you can explain yourself.

So when Roy was reluctant to say it, Polearth smiled and said, "No, no, no."

"That must be understandable if you eat Lord Roy's dishes. We were really surprised by the food, too."

Polearths then shifts his gaze to the guests.

"So, how did it go with you guys? If you also frequent the Lew family stalls, you may not be surprised."

"No, I was surprised enough.... Why aren't you selling this dish in the street?

Dial was asking sincerely and strangely. Rayna-Lew is smiling as if to haunt her.

"Recently, this finally came to a satisfactory taste. I think they're going to sell it in the stalls in the future."

"Oh well. Well, I'm looking forward to that day."

It may be rare to see Deal and Raina-Lou having a conversation, even though they face each other all the time. Dial grinned at Rayna-Lew before elbowing Larvis' arm.

"Look, don't even shut up about Larvis. If it was delicious, why don't you tell him it was delicious?

"... was delicious"

"Then he said he couldn't convey his feelings! Where was it and how was it delicious?

"… That is how I do not know the words that praise cooking. It's illegal, I'm sorry."

Though it's the 10th, Larvis eats his stall dishes every time these days. The unfathomable attitude remained unchanged, but the Raina-Lou and the others were happy to hear what Larvis had to say.

"So, is it Lord Roy's turn at last?

When Polearth raised his voice that way, Rimi-Lou shouted "ahhh".

"Wait a minute! … please. Um, Limi and Tour-Din are also preparing treats! …"

"Oh, that's rude of you.... and I don't think you can take the usual word for it."

"Eh heh. Thanks! Well, I'll give it to you!

A smiling Rimi-Lou and a nervous face Tour-Din hand over a wood plate to the lowest surname. Even for me, I was very excited to see what kind of recognition the two sweets would get.

(But don't worry about Roy's cooking either. What the hell kind of dish did you cook up)

Roy at the time looks like he's waiting for his turn as he bites his sigh to death. But if that was a half-baked success, even Siri-Low would not have strongly recommended tasting. As far as I'm concerned, my expectations grew.
