From the uproar of the Hurricane Party, four days later - it is the 26th of the Ashes Moon.
That day, we were headed to Castle Town again.
Dels is officially contracting to buy and sell ingredients with Genos, so we're supposed to see it through.
It was a business day at the stall that day, so after I finished the job I headed to Castle Town. Only me and Raina-Lou are the spectators, and only Ai-Fa and Giza -Lou are the escorts. The Hurricane Party had also de-alerted Genos, having been cut off from having any other companions than the seventeen captured.
As far as Giza-Lou is concerned, he is an escort, as well as a spectator, I guess. This should have been such a big event for the forest people that the next chief Ziza-Lou deserved to be involved.
"Hey, hey, I've been waiting for you. Now, hang it over there."
What we were invited to was a meeting hall, not a VIP hotel. It's that familiar building that was used to meet with Wang Du's auditors and discuss the fate of Musul.
And it was Polearth, and his superiors, the diplomats, and the treasurers, who were waiting for him. Mulstein said he would never be present at one of these places, just to grant authorization.
On the table is prepared a written scroll of plain parchment. I guess it's the one called testimony. Dels read through the text from corner to corner, inscribing his name in the last margin and pressing the bill. And yet, the exact same thing was prepared as a refrain, so I would loosen up the same treatment on it and put it in my nostalgia.
"Now you have a contract. Oh, I'm so relieved to hear from you."
Polearths said that with a smile.
"Besides, I didn't know you already brought all those ingredients. Now we can sell the ingredients to everyone, even tomorrow."
Dells kept large quantities of ingredients in the luggage cars he kept at the Grand Tree Pavilion in the South. They were all transported into the castle town and already housed in separate rooms.
"Then this will be the price for this one. Please make sure."
A treasurer, a magnificent man, offered Dells a leather bag that looked slender and heavy.
Inside is a large quantity of silver coins. Dells checked the number with a familiar fingertip before handing the leather bag to the wads on the other side.
"But that's half the amount of the original contract, right?
Dels nodded "yes," Polearth confirmed.
"So if it is meant to be, we will deliver the product once a month, but this time we will deliver a new product in a month"
"In that case, Genos and Cornelia are a half moon away in Totos, so you'll be back and leaving again soon. Even then, will Lord Dells deliver it himself?
"Yes, for the first year or so, I would like to do the hauling job with my own hands"
"Right. I look forward to seeing you again in a month."
"Oh, yeah," Polearth, who was about to take his seat up, sat back.
"Speaking of which, what should that ingredient be called? I only wrote in the testimony that it was a new ingredient made from tau beans, but I wonder if it would be unbearable without a name?
"Yes, I thought so myself and decided to give that product a name"
"Oh, what did you name it?
Dells looked at me for a while, then he said.
"Miso...... and I want to name it that way"
"Miso. That's a name you can't hear.... or was that not the name of the ingredients in Lord Asta's hometown?
"Yes, I was unable to come up with any other mesmerizing name, so I decided to open it up to ingredients from Asta's hometown. Tau bean miso, but I hope you call me"
Polearth smiled delightfully.
"I've agreed. Let me also use that name when I put it up for sale in Genos.... Then you don't have to be scared of the bandits anymore, but be careful on the road."
And so it was only this time that the people, starting with Polearths, tried to get up.
Dels calls out "please wait" there.
At that time his thick fingertips were rubbing his nose at all costs.
"This whole business story is totally irrelevant...... may I borrow some more of your time?
"Yeah? Something? I don't mind if I stick around."
The other two nobles are also sitting back in their chairs with a pungent face. In retrospect of that appearance, Dels moved his fingertips however he could.
"I have spent the last few days in Genos, listening to different stories. So, if you are nobles of Genos, it is up to you to forgive the eagle, even if a man as despicable as yourself utters an indescribable word..."
"Hmm. You've become more and more enigmatic. What the hell is it about?
"It… concerns the treatment of the people of the North, who live in the territory of Turan"
I was surprised to see Rayna-Lew.
I hadn't heard Dells cut out such a story at all.
"Oh, of the people of the North. Was there anything else in the other day about the Bandits?
"Yes. After all, placing the people of the North in the territory of Genos is a matter of little danger. Unfortunately, do the nobles of Genos intend to treat the people of the North as slaves in the future as well?
The diplomat and the treasurer were exploring the look on your face with a slight frown.
It's an extremely delicate topic for a human being in Genos.
But Polearth, with a facade of petty curiosity, was watching Delus.
"That's well, because you can't move hundreds of people in the north, in the middle of nowhere. As a matter of fact, it is a slave gathered by the former Lord of Turan for his own thoughts, so there are aspects of us that we enjoy a little bit."
"... I hear Turan's former lord was stripped of his title about a year ago and returned his soul to the blue moon ahead."
"Yeah. I had a lot of ideas when I took the place of the Lord. I should sell it off to extra territory, or I should just execute it... but that brings all sorts of hardships and problems together again, so I was just dropped off."
That being said, Polearth smiled with a grin.
"Do you have any ideas for Lord Dells? If you like, I'd love to hear it."
"Ha... but I am also a people of the kingdom of the south, on top of being a merchant of sorts. Must be an unacceptable thing to do to talk about the West and the North..."
"I don't mind. If that's not our story, let's laugh and listen. Because of that, I'm not going to break this contract."
Dels stopped rubbing his nose and looked to Polearth as he had decided to.
"Now let me tell you something. I hope you're listening to me as some kind of merchant bullshit."
"Yeah, yeah. So, what's the story?
Once Dels closed his eyes and took a gentle, deep breath, he said.
"Shouldn't the people of the North living in Genos... let the Southern God transfer God?
Indoors, tension ran through.
Put it down for a beat, and then the polearths "hum" and plump mandible.
"The people of the North will transfer God to the Southern God... and I've never heard such a story before."
"Yes, between Mahydra and Jagal, there has never been any involvement at all due to the spread of Selva and Sim territory. Among the four great kingdoms, the thinnest are the mahydra and the jagal. We weren't friends instead of enemies - so it seems we didn't even show up to try to transfer God between the two countries."
"That makes sense. There is no way there are people who wish to be the son of a stranger God in a strange land, etc. But isn't that true of the people of the North who live in Turan?
"Perhaps so. But if we transfer God to the Southern God, we can live not as slaves, but as freedom."
Dells rubbed his big dough nose like he could see.
Apparently this is his signature when he gets serious.
"Whether we live as slaves in Turan as this, or as the people of the South in strange lands - some of us move our minds if we are also to be allowed to cultivate fields, marry our companions and have children as one good people, instead of joining bandits and others?
"Hmm..."
"Nor should it be tolerated, such as to return God to the Northern God again, once he has transferred God. That would leave no anxiety for the Selva people either. And it shouldn't be an act in favor of the hostile mahydra."
"I don't even know what Lord Dells is saying. But why is Lord Dells, the people of the south, filing such a complaint? There's no reason to guide Lord Dells and the people of the North, is there?
"What I am guiding is the end of Genos. If we put the people of the North in our territory, it would be another unexpected disaster… it depends on how we think about it."
Dells said so freshly, letting a quiet voice take a definite sense of strength.
"We also heard that the people of the north of Turan had a temperate temper that did not know the war, so we thought that even after they became the people of the south, they might not be afraid to do harm to Selva. If they were such bad people, they wouldn't have turned down the bandits' offer this time."
"Hmm, I see..."
"And one more thing. Check out this wads"
That being said, Dels pointed to his pompous partner.
"I have never even seen the people of the North, but I have heard that these ancestral people of the South are similar in appearance to the people of the North. And as the word ancestral indicates, the people of the north and the people of the south are left with the inheritance that they were of the same blood family before the creation of the four great kingdoms. After more than 600 years, you would think that there would be no blood fringe or snare… if the landscape were similar, it would still be easy to deepen ties as compatriots, even if the people of the north lived in the kingdoms of the south, without feeling alienated or isolated"
"Sure. Hair and eyes have different colors, but I think there's a lot of similarity between the skeleton and the face."
Porlearth smiled fluffily, stating so.
"No, it was a really interesting story. But this isn't going to be something we can talk about... let's ask Lord Genos for his opinion."
"Are you going to tell this story to Lord Genos?
The treasurer gives a voice in the way he ate the bubble.
Polearth smiled back at you, "Yes," he said.
"Our monarch is Lord Genos. If you think what you're talking about makes sense, you're going to choose the right path."
"But what will they say to the men of the king's capital, if they imitate such..."
"Of course, we cannot proceed with such a story at the discretion of Lord Genos. Soon, the people of the King's capital will arrive in Genos, so you just have to give them a visit. If you think about it, isn't it perfect?"
So Polearth turned again to Delus.
"I'm going to entrust everything to Lord Genos. So until then, keep this story to yourself.... and the people by the woods."
Just like a few days ago, Polearth stood his finger in front of his lips.
I smile and try to nod yes.
I had no idea that the people of the North would transfer God to the Southern God.
But the people of the woods and so forth became the people of the west based on a more complicated history. Compared to that, it was thought that there would still be less difficulty.
(Surprised. I can't believe Dells was thinking about this)
Dels was a woven fabric out of his nostalgia, plucking his forehead.
He was him, and I guess he wouldn't have bought the aristocratic objection or was not anxious.
Polearth smiled with a grin, as if he wanted to reassure Dels like that.
"Lord Dels, can you leave everything to Lord Genos, too? I'm sure Marquis Genos will not give the name of Lord Dels in front of the king's capital. I don't think the eyes of the Kingsville will ever gather in you if you keep your mouths shut."
"Of course it is. … please forgive me for the many words that do not correspond to the minute"
"Yeah. Now we're done talking."
That was the signal to leave the room.
Dells and Wads, plus four visitors from the woodside, leave the room in a courtesy. But then again, there were the eyes of small names and martial arts officers, so it wasn't until we got into the Totos car for the transfer that we started exchanging words without worries.
"No, I'm surprised. That's what Dells was thinking."
I whispered in the ears of the man on your stand.
Dels has a loud nose with "Hum".
"If it was that nobleman named Polearth, he thought it was a good idea not to frown against the groan. If they ruin business with these stories, I can't stop."
"With such peril, you have made a statement for the people of the North."
Giza-Lou stares at Delus with her eyes as thin as a thread.
Dels waved to you, feeling safe.
"It wasn't a sticky, bad minute bet. The question is, what will the lords of Genos and the people of the king's capital think? Especially since the Kingdoms are supposed to resent the northern kingdoms and be bone marrow."
"But it seemed to me that your words were equipped with definite reason. So much so that the people of the north once stood up and saved the guards of Genos that they would not strip their fangs of the kingdom of the west, even if they were free."
"Oh. If you hadn't listened to me like that. Oh, I wouldn't have brought this up either. No matter how unfortunate the situation is, it's perfect to help the people of the North avenge it."
"But you did your best for the people of the North, despite your disadvantages. The will will will be difficult."
It was extremely unusual for Giza-Lou to turn such words to the people of the town.
But Dels doesn't look like he felt it, and he laughs.
"I'm sticky, I'm not that kind of person. That's what I did because I thought it would be in my interest."
"Does such a story benefit you?
"Oh, a lot.... My field in Cornelia isn't manned enough at all times. It would be very helpful if the people of the bent north could help him."
To Dels' wicked words, Giza-Lou seemed to smile all the time.
"You're going to visit Genos again in a month, right?
"Oh. Around the end of the black moon."
"At that time, let's invite you back to Luu's house. I'd like you to exchange words with my parents, Donda, and my oldest, Ziva, again."
"That's a very kind offer."
With that said, Dels has turned to me.
"But I'm going to take care of you tonight because it's your house. I've got plenty of miso to prepare, so why don't you order some good food again, Asta?
"Yeah, I got it."
I smiled heartily and made him respond accordingly.
Dropping a dark shadow on many people, this incident - the disturbances caused by Silhouel - was meant to point to such a future. If all of this is a star map drawn by God, then the stars of Delus would also shine brightly.
But we're people's children. I don't know what God thinks.
So I decided to thank Mother Forest and Father Western God for my good luck with Delus.
