It’s been about a month since I stepped into the Dungeon of the World Tree to solve the problem of the sub-god of the end.

For the first half month or so, I was mainly checking the safety of the dungeon and doing research, and I was also shopping for food in the elf village, while focusing on setting up the stage for the Kuroko-san’s training, but here an unexpected person came into play.

Yes, Jean, the demon who had taken the liberty of accompanying us, began to play warrior.

“What? So you’re saying that if there are too many threatening creatures in this dungeon, your new toy will be in danger and you want to clean up the environment?”

“That’s not the case. She’s not toy, she is companion!”

“It’s the same thing!”

I don’t think it’s the same thing, but in his mind it doesn’t make much difference.

However, Jean’s power, which is elusive somehow, is real and strangely supportive to us.

Even when we were actually investigating monsters, he would make some kind of strange panel appear in front of us, and with the help of some kind of translucent keyboard, he would be able to accurately assess the threat level and characteristics of monsters.

In addition to this, he has a history of overrunning multiple enemies by himself, something that Mizzet and this avatar could barely defeat with two people.

He was emitting black lasers from his hands, creating a lot of miasma and turning them into charcoal.

I’ve never seen an attack with that kind of power, not even in the previous Demon King battles.

A laser beam more powerful than the Demon Dragon’s breath, who the hell is this guy?

I’m sure he’s not just any demon, that’s for sure.

Naturally, I’m afraid of being betrayed by such a demon, but at the moment, there is no sign of it.

It’s just that he’s smiling and laughing innocently and saying weird things like, “Today is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life!” or “I haven’t even started!”

This is why I can’t believe that this guy, who is so clever that he can evade the eyes of High Elf and the Brave, but has a strangely pure heart, is a bad guy.

And maybe it’s also because I’m not prejudiced against demons.

The demon is just a race that illegally handles the mana of the Creator God, which the app has taken the liberty of identifying as an enemy of the world, but from my perspective, they are human beings and creatures living in this world just like any other race.

Naturally, there are some bad guys among them, but not everyone who works as an individual is evil.

There are good people and there are bad people, each with their own individuality.

It’s the same for humans, demons, monsters, and ghosts.

Well, that’s just my theory.

But the one who disagreed with this was Mizzet, and even now, she has always been wary of this Jean.

It’s not like I’m not trying to reconcile the two, but it seems that the two of them don’t match.

They fight over prey during battles, they compete to decide who made the last attack on a monster, and they fight all the time.

Mizzet may not be aware of it, but there must be something she cannot accepted deep in her psychology.

After all, demons and Demon King have been a frequent presence in her life.

“You just blatantly interrupt my attack, didn’t you? B*stard, I’m gonna kill you!”

“Hahaha! Losers can only talk a lot! You’ve been his favorite for a long time, but I think you need to work on your head, if not your fighting skills. I can’t say that you’re worthy of him at all!”

And that’s how it is now.

They are incompatible, like water and oil.

However, since they are in a party, they seem to understand each other’s roles even if they don’t mesh well.

The main roles are Mizzet as the vanguard, Jean as the middle guard, and me as the rear guard.

The usual winning pattern is that Mizzet, who is a Paladin but is skilled in close combat, catches the monster’s attacks, Jean supports and distracts the opponent with a mysterious miasma attack that only the demon race knows about, and finally I use my [Akuma] skill to activate the [Death Sentence] and defeat the strong enemy in one blow.

This is not the case with small fry, of course, and each of us moves as we see fit to wipe them out.

“I’m sorry, even though you’re a demon, I admit that you’re an excellent magician and warrior. But I can’t let you get away with saying that I’m not worthy of Kenji. ”

“I’m just telling you the truth.

“I’m just telling you the truth. Your determination and commitment to him is great, but it’s not enough. You need to think about who he is and what cab really help him. Thinking about it, there are plenty of people in the world who are just strong.”

“What?”

Sometimes Jean would say something meaningful and then shut his mouth.

This is also a scene I have seen many times in the past month.

I don’t know what his intentions are, but he seems to have some strange expectations of me.

I don’t know this guy at all, but I’m in trouble.

I don’t know what kind of expectations he has for me.

Well, I guess it’s time for me to move on.

“We’ve spent half a month investigating the Dungeon of the World Tree, and half a month preparing the environment. We’ve spent about a month in the dungeon, and now it’s time to get ready to welcome Kuroko-san. We’ll try to raise her level as much as we can in this dungeon, and if we need to, we’ll capture it. …… Any opinions?”

“No. I don’t think there’s much danger with this party.”

“Hmm, I agree with you. I don’t know how good the new girl is until I meet her, but I think she’ll be fine. I think we can capture it while protecting her.”

After confirming with Mizzet and Jean, I decided to take action.

She has improved a lot in the past month, but there’s no better experience than actual combat.

From time to time, I would go back to the Temple of the Creator to bring in food, vegetables and grains from the Elf Village, but there was still a limit to how fast she could improve in replay mode alone.

You’ll always get a certain amount of results, but you can’t expect explosive growth.

That’s why we’ve decided to take the plunge and attack.

In addition, while we are doing this kind of investigate and environmental improvement, the Brave still have not completely conquered the dungeon, and it seems that they are repeating the challenge.

Of course, they seem to have gone much deeper into the dungeon than we have, but it must still be quite difficult.

After all, I can guess that the combat power of the sub-god of the end that is absorbing the world tree is outrageous.

In the first place, it is not an effective way to deal with the sub god of the end by force.

I also think that he probably wants to know something and is waiting for someone.

He wants to know, for example, who he is.

I don’t know what the ultimate goal of the sub-god with the spirit of a child is, but I’m sure he wants someone to tell him the answer to this question.

As a child, I can only say that the idea is easy to come up with, but he’s doing such a prominent thing as setting up a dungeon in the world tree, in short, he must be inviting someone who has the answer.

If that’s the case, I should be the one to go.

He was born with the power, but he doesn’t know how to use it, and he doesn’t know what it’s for.

I can’t tell a newborn like that that I’m here to kill him because he’s a nuisance.

That’s why I have to remind him that there’s always a reason to live in this other world that I’ve created.

After all, I’m a Creator God player.

Whether his birth was accidental or inevitable, my pride won’t allow me to create a character that has no value whatsoever.
