Dungeon of Precious Stones Again (6)

---Clatter, rattle, crumble

“”Wha–!?”””

As Dill-san and Barden-san were engrossed in conversation, a sound of something crumbling echoed. Hastily looking towards the source of the sound, they saw children and Kaiser standing in front of a collapsed wall.

"Takumi, we found another wall with something hidden inside~"

“”Found it~””

"No way, really!?"

Dill-san and Barden-san hurriedly rushed towards the children in a flustered manner.

"What happened? Another similar tile?"

"Tile~ But a little different~?"

"Not stone, maybe glass~?"

"Let's see, let's see? Wow~ it's beautiful."

The tiles were of the same size as the three-tiered ones, but several transparent blue tiles were stuck to the wall.

"Elena is correct. These seem like glass tiles."

"Yay~"

Having guessed the material correctly, Elena happily cheered.

"Since these are beautiful, they could be useful for something."

"I want different colors."

"I want lots of them."

Although they didn't find the tiles on the third floor interesting, they seemed to like these ones.

"In that case, shall we start punching walls one by one after all?"

"Kaiser, that'll take time, so let's not. Let's just focus on the walls that Allen and Elena are interested in."

It wouldn't do to walk around punching every single wall, so they decided to stop Kaiser.

"That's true. The kids don't seem to miss anything."

“”Won't miss a thing~"”

Although, in return, it seemed like I had inadvertently sparked the children's motivation. Well, as long as they find interesting walls along the way, it shouldn't be a problem, right?

"... Dill, seems like you're going through a lot, but hang in there."

"... Barden-san, won't you join us?"

"Well, I'm part of the party, so I'll pass."

"Rather, let's all go together!"

"Given how stressed you seem, I'll decline!"

"Be a bit more specific."

"Then~ Orc General meat!"”

"And let's have a rice bowl!"

"Got it. Orc meat in a rice bowl... a pork bowl it is~"

"Ohh~ I don't know what kind of dish that is, but I'm looking forward to it!"

With soy sauce, sake, sugar, grated garlic, and chopped green onions, I'll make a sauce and coat the grilled meat with it~

"Hey, Takumi, Orc General's meat is quite the excellent kind of meat, you know!? Are you really gonna eat it!? And why do you have it in the first place!!"

Ignoring Dill-san's shouting, I started cooking.

"What ingredients do you want in the miso soup?"

"Eggs!"

"Ena grass!"

"Oh, that's a nice combination!"

Egg and spinach miso soup with chilled tofu, I guess?

"Even though we're in a dungeon... Aren't we taking cooking a bit too seriously?"

"Well, safety is guaranteed, so why not?"

Well, I've heard that if you cook outdoors, all you need is a pot for simple soup or stew, so maybe I'm going a bit overboard. But hey, I'll do it my way.

"Alright, it's ready~ Here you go."

“”"Ohh~ Thank you~"””

The children and Kaiser started eating eagerly.

"Here, Dill-san, please have some too."

"Huh, can I really?"

"I'm not that cruel to leave you out.”

In cases like this, everyone prepares their own meals. But it feels unpleasant to have warm dishes while others are eating preserved food, right?

"But... you're using Orc General meat, right?"

“”Is delish, know? Dill-san, you should try it!””

"O-ohh...”

Categorized as high-quality meat, Dill-san hesitated to eat it, but finally gave in at the children's insistence.

"This is amazing! What is this!"

"I'm glad you like it."

"Wow~ Takumi, you're a genius!"

Dill-san seemed quite impressed.
