Chapter 340 - That's the only way I can make him speak with me a few more words with me!!

"How is she? is she okay?" Suzy asked after seeing that Luo Shen was fine.

Shaking his head, Luo Shen sighed "I don't know, she is still Unconscious"

Nodding her head, Suzy walked inside and saw a young girl unconscious on the hospital bed looking as pale as a sheet. This young girl was none other than Xu Man whom Luo Shen was chasing after. 

Caressing Xu Man's head, Suzy asked: "How long has she been like this?"

"Twelve hours"

"When will she wake up?"

"No idea. The doctors said that she is physically okay but mentally disturb so it's hard to guess when she will wake up"

Nodding her head in understanding, Suzy looked at Luo Shen and said "Come with me" Saying that she walked to the floor to ceiling Window. 

Scratching his head, Luo Shen paused for a second before following Suzy. 

Feeling his presence, Suzy turned around and asked "Tell me...what exactly happened? How did you end up like this?"

Looking out of the window in a daze, Luo Shen took a deep breath and recounted the things that happened the previous day.

Fourteen hours back...

In the Empire hotel, Xu Man was celebrating her twenty-first birthday with a few of her friends and colleagues and Luo Shen was also invited there. 

Since it was his first time giving a gift to a girl, he was a little nervous and was a little hesitant so he did not give it until the end of the party.

Only when everyone left did Luo Shen present his gift and said "Happy birthday" and then without waiting for her reply, he walked out of the party hurriedly.

Watching him walk away like that, Xu Man looked at him in confusion. Her assistant who happened to see Luo Shen's red ears nudged at Xu Man and asked "Do you think Mr. Luo is interested in you"

Slapping her assistant's hand, Xu Man whined "Hey...stop speaking nonsense. How can Mr. Luo be interested in me?"

"Why not....your cute, adorable, beautiful. How can he not like you?" 

"Just that? have you seen his face? With that gorgeous face, he can woe a girl who is prettier than me"

"Hmm..that's true. By the way, don't you Like him? why do you keep fighting with him when you love him?"

Looking down at the bracelet, she smiled bitterly and said "That's the only way I can make him speak a few more words with me"

Shaking her head, her assistant sighed a deep breath. After wrapping up the party, just when Xu Man and her assistant were about to leave the hotel, a few burly men walked out of the corner and abducted Xu Man. 

Scared out of her wits, the assistant hurriedly grabbed a car and followed the car secretly. On the way, she tried to call the police but the latter just ignored her plea. Helpless, while the assistant was in a hurry to save her artist, she suddenly remembered Luo Shen. Without any delay, the assistant called Luo Shen and informed the situation. 

When Luo Shen heard about the situation, he did not delay even a second and rushed to the address provided by the assistant to save his girl.

After spending his car, Luo Shen arrived in front of an abandoned villa. Not far away from him, the assistant was waiting for him anxiously. 

Stopping the corner at a dark corner, he approached the assistant and asked "Where is she? who kidnapped her?"

"I don't know. we were just about to leave the hotel but a few burly men attacked us and kidnapped Xu Man. To track them I followed their car secretly and saw them enter the villa"

"Did you call the police?"

"yes...I did. But they just ignored it"

Rubbing the space between his eyebrows, he said "Stay here. I will go and check the situation inside"

After instructing the assistant Luo Shen hurriedly made his way inside, but just as he entered, he saw people dressed in black guarding the house. Without defeating them, it was unable to enter the villa. With his current strength, he was able to take tens of guards down but was not as swift as Suzy. 

After defeating each and every person, when he finally made his way upstairs to the room where Xu Man was locked up, things were already late. 

On the bed, a girl as pale as the sheet was lying unconscious. An old quilt was covering her n.a.k.e.d body and her fragile arms and neck were all covered with blue red bruises which looked very hurtful on her fair skin. 

When Luo Shen saw this scene, he was shocked to the core and was unable to control the fear that enveloped his heart. 

Walking towards the bed stiffly, he looked down at the girl who could make his heart skip a beat with just a glance. 

Looking at that beautiful face now bruised all over, Luo Shen felt a sharp pain in his heart as if his heart was torn apart. Caressing her face, he felt rage build up inside his heart. 

Unable to control his anger, he hit the old wall hard and smashed the table into pieces.

Knowing that this was not the right time for him to be emotional, he hurriedly wiped his tears and looked around to find a cloth to cover her. Seeing her cloth lying on the floor he picked it up but found that they were shredded into pieces. Not finding any other clothes, he took off his shirt without any second thought and helped her wear it but with his eyes closed. 

After dressing her up, he carried her vertically and headed down where the assistant was waiting in his car. 

Placing her in the back seat, he hurriedly got inside the car and drove at the highest speed to City A hospital. Just as Luo Shen had left the abandoned house, a woman dressed in old clothes walked out of the hiding and looked at the pictures she had in her hand and smiled wickedly. After informing a certain someone about what she had just seen, she waited for further instruction before sending the photos to the media. 

When Luo Shen had just reached the hospital, the media released a piece of hot news saying that a female actress was r.a.p.ed in an abandoned house outside the city and was rescued by a young man. but there were a few people who thought that the young man was the one who r.a.p.ed the girl. 

Since it was against the law to disclose the name and image of the victims without their contents, the reporters had blurred the image and mentioned the actress and the young name with code names. And to make it easy for people to guess who is the actress, the reporters disclosed that this actress had just signed up to endorse a famous brand beauty product. Taking this as a clue, people started to list out the actresses who were currently endorsing famous brands and in which Xu Man was also included. 

Just when things were getting hot, a famous entertainment gossip sight disclosed the actors' names and photos of Luo Shen carrying Xu Man inside the hospital. As soon as this post was released, it caused quite an uproar in the industry...

While many pitied Xu Man, there were a few people who smiled at her misery. No matter how the public reacted, whether they pitied her or laughed at her, in the end, the victim was bound to suffer all on her own.
