Chapter 345 - Do you trust me??

After finishing the press conference, Just as Luo Shen was about to head back home to freshen up, he received a call from the hospital saying that Xu Man has woken up but was not in the right state of her mind and the doctors were unable to control her so they asked if Luo Shen if he could hurry to the hospital now. 

Without any delay, Luo Shen sped the car to the city A hospital in a hurry, afraid that his little girl might do something to herself.

After driving for ten minutes, Luo Shen arrived in front of the hospital. Getting down from the car, he ran inside the hospital and rushed to the VIP room. When he arrived at the VIP room where Xu Man was staying at, he saw that the hospital was a complete mess. The doctors and nervous were standing near the hospital bed and were trying to pacify Xu Man to keep down the knife that she was holding near her neck. She was looking at the doctors in fright and was scared that if she let go of the knife they might approach her and kidnap her again. Seeing how the girl acted after seeing the strangers, Luo Shen's heart ached a little. Taking a deep breath, he called in a gentle and low voice "Xu Man"

Hearing the familiar voice, when Xu Man looked at the crowd she saw Luo Shen walked past the crowd and stood in front of her. 

Seeing that Xu Man was no longer scared and was listening to him, Luo Shen slowly made his way towards her while trying to calm her "Listen to me, you are safe here, no one is going to hurt you..hmm? So, like a good girl put the knife down and let the doctors treat you...okay?"

Looking at Luo Shen with red eyes, Xu Man suddenly clenched her hand around the knife and stepped back and yelled "Don't come closer...I'm dirty....I--I'm no longer pure. Get out...Mr. Luo please get out...I don't want you to see me...please"

"Xu Man, calm down...okay? calm down listen to me?" Luo Shen said as he tried to calm his heart which was beating hard against his chest. 

Shaking her head, Xu Min looked at Luo Shen tearfully and said "No...don't say anything. I'm probably dirty...I no longer have any reason to live...I feel disgusted about myself...please get out, I don't want you to see me...this filthy and disgusting woman"

"Xu Man...don't speak nonsense. Nothing happened to you as you think....you are still pure. You were rescued before anything could happen to you..."

Shocked, Xu Man looked at Luo Shen in disbelief and stuttered "What-what did you say?"

"Nothing happened to you...you are still the pure girl as before"

Thinking that Luo Shen was just bluffing, Xu Man yelled "No...thats' impossible. You are lying to me.."

"No..I'm speaking the truth. Nothing happened to you. If you want I can prove it to you. Now please put the knife down and listen to me okay?"

Finally believing Luo Shen's words, Xu Man put the knife down and stood stiffly. 

Taking this chance, Luo Shen hurriedly walked forward and pulled her into his arms. Hugging her tightly in his arms, he finally released a sigh of relief. 

Feeling the soft woman in his arms, Luo Shen could finally breathe normally. Turning to the doctors who were standing behind, he signaled them to prepare for the treatment while he pulled Xu Man back and looked into her eyes before he said "Do you believe me?"

Looking at him innocently with her teary eyes, Xu Man nodded without hesitation.

"Good. Now listen to me properly. The doctors here will conduct a few tests on you after we finish the test I will prove it to you..okay?"

After hesitating for a moment, Xu Man finally agreed to him. 

Holding Xu Man's hand, he brought her to do all the necessary tests that the doctor asked for. After doing a series of tests, the doctors concluded that she was perfectly alright and said that they could discharge her the next day. 

After speaking to the doctor, Luo Shen returned back to the room and looked at the little girl who was staring out blankly. 

Sighing, he walked towards the bed holding the report. 

Sensing that someone entered the room, Xu Man suddenly turned stiff and looked towards the door with a fright. Seeing that it was Luo Shen, she sighed in relief. 

Of course, Luo Shen also noticed her reaction and he felt as if his heart was stabbed with needles. Knowing well that Xu Man was still scared of strangers, he thought that it was good to discharge her soon. 

making his way towards the bed, he placed the reports on the bedside table and said "You are perfectly fine. The doctors said that you can go back home tomorrow"

Giving no response to Luo Shen, Xu Man just stared at him quietly.

Knowing what she was asking for, Luo Shen sighed and fetched his handphone and played the video of today's press conference and passed the cell phone to Xu Man. 

Hurriedly grabbing the phone, Xu Man watched the video eagerly. After finding that nothing happened to her and was saved on time, Xu Man could no longer hold in her emotion, and tears poured out of her eyes. Holding the phone is her hands, she cried in relief. 

More than anything, she was happy to find that no matter what people thought about her, Luo Shen still stood next to her and helped her to take care of the scandals when she was asleep. 

Looking down at the girl who was bawling her eyes out, Luo Shen sighed helplessly. As he was about to say something, he suddenly heard a heard reporter ask "Mr. Luo Shen, one last question..." Startled, he snatched his phone away from Xu Man and paused the video and put the phone back inside his pocket. Afraid that the later words might not be good to hear at the present situation. 

Seeing Xu Man look at hm confusion, Luo Shen scratched his head awkwardly and said "Uh..the doctor said not to let you use TV, laptop or cell phone or some days until you recover"

Nodding her head, Xu Man did not think much about his action. 

The next day, after completing the discharge procedure, Just as Luo Shen was about to send Xu Man back home, Suzy popped out of nowhere and asked Luo Shen to take Xu Man back to his home instead of letting her stay alone in the house. Since there were reporters lurking nearby their apartment, Suzy courteously arranged a penthouse to the two of them and gave two days off for Luo Shen and asked him to look after Xu Man...carefully.

Though Suzy appeared courteous outside, Luo Shen knew very well that his sister was just making an excuse to let him stay with Xu Man and spend some more time with her. Though Luo Shen was nervous and shy since it was his first time to stay alone with a girl, that too with the girl he liked, he still decided to follow his Sisters arrangement.

Meanwhile, Xu Man just acted like an obedient child who agreed to their every arrangement. Though she was very happy to spend time with Luo Shen, she did not show it outside...afraid that she might be too obvious.
