Chapter 354 - Success Banquet!!

After completing her mission, Suzy drove straight to her office to complete the necessary work. The remaining minor things would be taken care of by Luo Shen. Since she had been working hard for the past few days, she could finally relax by leaving the minor works to Luo Shen. 

With that thought in her mind, Suzy made her way inside and headed to her office But when the employees saw Suzy walk inside the building, they were all shocked and were confused at the same time. 

The employees cannot be blamed since they were already aware of the special occasion that was going to be held in the evening.

After successfully making into the top list, the director of the movie 'The chess' was so happy that he decided to hold a banquet to congratulate all the team members who had worked hard to make the movie successful and at the same time, he also wanted to take this opportunity to publicize his new drama. 

As the star of the movie, at this time, instead of heading to the parlor to have a spa and make herself look bright and shining, Suzy instead appeared in the office to complete her part. No matter how the employees thought, they couldn't really understand their boss. Though the banquet was held in the evening, actresses usually take a day off to get ready and shine others during the banquet but Suzy could be considered the only person who was least bothered about publicity and beauty. But what the employees failed to consider was even after heavy makeup, none of the present actresses could match up with their boss's plain face. Only when they saw the magazines and newspapers the next day did the employees finally realize.

Unlike the employees though, Suzy was more into completing her work as soon as possible so that she could spend some time with her hubby. To her fame was like a speck of dust in front of her hubby.

While Suzy was in the middle of the work, she received a call from Uncle Rong who called her to inform that General Zhen and others had arrived at the airport safely and the soldiers had also returned to the camp with bringing the Ex boss of devils eye along with them.

By the time Suzy finished with her works, it was almost half-past two. 

After having her late lunch, Suzy made her way to a private villa where a dressing team was waiting for her. 

If any actress or rich heiress happened to see the designer who led the team, they would faint with envy and jealousy. The one who led the team was called Chris, one of the top designers in the world. Many wanted to wear the dress he designed but only a few people could get hold of these expensive dresses except Suzy. If Suzy wished then this designer would not hesitate to design hundreds of dresses and gift her, After all, he was one of her sworn brothers who worked in the shadow organization. 

To the outside world, he was the famous and top designer Chris, but in the underworld, he was called Blackberry, the manic shooter. 

Back the present….

As soon as Suzy stepped inside the villa, she was welcomed by the housekeeper who was waiting for her. Without wasting another moment, the housekeeper led Suzy inside the house and to the topmost floor where the dressing and makeup team was waiting for them. 

As soon as Chris saw Suzy, he pulled her into his embrace and looked at her like a little puppy, wagging his invisible tail. 

"Can you stop acting like a puppy? It looks creepy"

When the designers and stylists saw Suzy, they were shocked and they could not believe that they were here to dress up a lowly actress. Seeing their boss's behavior earlier, they thought that they were going to style the most important and powerful person but now looking at Suzy, they could not help but feel a little dissatisfied. They even thought that Suzy must have used some honey trap to seduce a powerful person and then requested him to invite Chris. But what these people didn't know was that Suzy was none other than Shadow, whom even their boss had to bow and respect. 

Displeased hearing Suzy's words, Chris pouted and said "Sister, how can you say that. Do you even consider your brother's feelings?"

"Should I?" Suzy asked indifferently

"Ah forget it…I'll pester you some other day. Now, let's start dressing up" With that said, he pulled Suzy inside and led her to the bathroom. 

Pushing her inside, he said "Wash up past….you don't have enough time. Ah, don't forget to put on the special mask made by that idiot"

After saying that, he closed the door with a bang and walked to the next room where dozens of dresses specially made for Suzy were arranged in a line. Looking at all the designs, Chris slightly frowned. 

No matter which dress he looked at, everything looked the same and he could not pick the one that could make Suzy look beautiful. Unable to make a decision, he decided to let Suzy choose it herself. 

Hence when Suzy walked out of the bathroom looking soft and fresh wearing a white robe, the first thing she saw was a dozen dresses line up in front of her. 

Turning to Chris who was ordering his people to arrange the things, she asked "Blacky, what's with all these dresses?"

"Oh…these are the dresses I specially made for you but I'm unable to choose the most suitable one. Why don't you decide it yourself?"

Without thinking much, Suzy randomly chose a black color long gown and brought to the changing room to dress up. 

After wearing the dress, When Suzy walked out of the dressing room, the workers who were busy dealing with somethings paused their work and looked at Suzy in a daze. Looking at the beautiful woman dressed In black, they could not take their eyes off her. Unlike those actresses who looked good only after wearing jewelry and heavy makeup, Suzy looked beautiful even without makeup and accessory. 

Unlike the workers, Chris was not even surprised. Looking at Suzy with his twinkling eyes, he said proudly "Sure enough, only you can shine the dresses I design. Little Sister, you look so beautiful. When your man sees you dressed like this, he will definitely have a hard time holding back.

Raising her eyebrows, Suzy did not speak but just smiled, pleased by his compliment. 

After checking the dress, Suzy proceeded to the dressing table and let the stylist and makeup artist work on her hair and face while she made use of this time to take a nap.
