Chapter 1309: A Hollow Space
The massive Incineroar crashed hard against the ground, out cold. Aegislash's attack was not something even this overpowered Incineroar could survive.
Seeing the Incineroar down, Julian approached it and started studying the pokemon in front of him. It looked like any normal Incineroar, but way bigger. Julian then noticed that the Z-energy inside this Incineroar has reduced significantly, weakening it, but its size is still intact.
He then took out a great ball and tossed it on the unconscious Incineroar and captured it as he can't let such a powerful pokemon that hates humans live here.
He could slowly train Incineroar and make him adapt to humans once again.
Seeing that Incineroar has been successfully captured, the rest of the people hiding behind the massive boulder came out of their hiding and looked at Julian with awe. They saw everything that had just taken place and they couldn't help but be impressed.
Even Olivia is left speechless. Even her best pokemons would have struggled against the Incineroar, but Julian's Aegislash took care of it with ease.
Julian "Is everyone alright?"
Julian asked as he looked at the group in front of him. They all nod their head and answer Julian.
He then looks at Olivia and tells her that they can continue exploring the volcanos.
The geologists get back to work. The female students that are in the group become more open with Julian as they saw him in action and want to get to know him even better, but they were scolded by their professor to get back to work. They could only sigh in displeasure and return to collecting samples.
The group then continued further down the volcano. Once the group was closer to the boiling lava, one of the professors dropped a strange-looking device down the molten lava to get a reading and map out the internal structure.
Julian walks up to the professor, who is sitting in front of a monitor monitoring what was on its display. Julian looked at the monitor but couldn't understand what was happening except the 3d map the device made after it was dropped inside the volcano.
Julian frowned as he felt something was off about this 3d map but he was no expert so he didn't express his opinion yer and his doubt was soon proven to be true as the professor monitoring the readings finally spoke out.
"Something is not right here"
The professor answered.
Olivia didn't know what to do. There is no way of getting under the lava without getting killed. She needs to save the people of this island and keep the island safe, but without getting to the source, she doesn't know how to do both.
She then looks at Julian, hoping for an answer as within these few hours that she has been with him, she somehow has come to rely on him.
Julian noticed Olivia's stare toward him and looked back at her.
Julian "I think you should start evacuating the people from the island if something goes wrong. As for the volcano, I will look into it and see if I can do something about it"
Olivia nods her head and decided to head back down into civilization and start evacuating the people. Julian, on the other hand, decided to stay back inside the volcano and make his way down to the molten lava.
Olivia "What are you going to do here all alone?"
She asks.
Julian "I will continue to look around and see if there is any other way to go down there"
Olivia "Then shouldn't we follow you?"
Julian "No, the path from here is very dangerous. I don't think it is wise enough to risk all their lives, take them back and I will be out in no time after looking around"
Julian explained.
Olivia nods her head and takes the group of geologies with her out of the volcano and back to civilization.
Julian watched as they all disappeared from his eyesight over the edge of the volcano's mouth. Once all of them were completely out, Julian looked back into the molten volcano and wondered how he should make his way down there.
After thinking of multiple options, he finally came up with the best way to get there.
