The two found a hot pot food stall for dinner.

Hot pot was not particularly suitable during this season, but the food stall was still very lively. By the time they arrived, there were not many seats left. Two well-dressed, handsome men coming to such a place decisively attracted many onlookers’ attention. After searching the scene, they finally found an empty table.

However, someone was faster than them. Just as Wang Cheng was about to point Chu Yifeng towards the table, someone from behind them pushed him. A couple quickly occupied the table, one of them being the person who had just pushed him. Fortunately, another guest had just finished eating. Wang Cheng asked the waiter to prepare the table for them, and after the table was cleared, the two finally had a chance to sit.

Wang Cheng took out a few napkins and handed a few to Chu Yifeng. He then wiped the table while talking about how he had visited this same food stall with his roommate when in school. It was very lively at that time, and his roommate and he came often. He didn't expect that it would still be open, and even be operating on a larger scale than before. Hopefully, the taste should have stayed the same.

"It's not hygienic." Chu Yifeng said.

"Don't expect such food stalls to have the same luxuries of hygiene as hotel restaurants. Besides, ordinary food stalls are not even as hygienic as this one. This food stall is also much cleaner than it was before." Wang Cheng asked the waiter for a pot of boiling water, and put the chopsticks, bowls and spoons inside. It was now all clean.

The two had to wait for over 20 minutes before the waiter finally brought the hot pot they had ordered, which was a large beef hot pot and many side dishes that mostly consisted of meat. This was one of the reasons why food stalls were so popular; boys liked to eat meat.

"Now tell me what happened at the police station." Chu Yifeng was still thinking about it.

Wang Cheng said while brushing sauce on his beef, "I met a man who wanted to kill me at an intersection this afternoon. Fortunately, I sensed that something was wrong and took precautions in advance. I also broke his leg. I suspect that someone hired him, because his combat skills are not bad, but he’s not very professional and seems more like a muscleman. If he was a hitman, he would not have intended to die with me."
