Zhou Lin and Zhao Jiansheng were discussing things in the office, when the door of the office was pushed open from outside. Someone walked in, scaring the couple. If the things they were discussing were heard by others and reached their father’s ears, they would have to find a way to eat their words.
"Stinky boy, don't you know to knock on a door before entering?"
Zhou Lin immediately breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was her son, and angrily scolded Zhao Chenlin, with lingering heart palpitations. They were now in the company, so the movement of even every blade of grass would be passed on to her father’s ears.
If this was in the past, Zhao Chenlin definitely would not have taken her seriously, and would let the words in one ear and out the other. Now, though, he was in a good mood and acquiesced, before collapsing on the sofa carelessly, wearing a big grin. Once Zhou Lin finished scolding him, she soon discovered the smile on the corners of his mouth that almost went to the back of his head.
"What happened today to make you so happy? Don't forget, you can’t stay in the company for too long. Your grandfather has not reinstated you to your position. If you let him see you hanging around doing nothing, it’ll be even longer before you can come back," Zhou Lin said.
Zhao Chenlin couldn't bear it anymore, and laughed loudly, "If he doesn’t reinstate me, he won’t reinstate me. I don't care about those lingering matters right now."
Zhou Lin and Zhao Jiansheng exchanged a glance, what could have stimulated him?
Zhou Lin hurriedly came to him, reached out and checked his forehead, before saying worriedly, "Son, don't scare your mother. Tell me what happened, did your grandfather do something again?"
Zhao Chenlin smiled and shook his head, "I was stimulated, but this time, the protagonist involved with my grandfather was not me."
