Yu Long drifted to the corner of Sky Poison Pearl's Dimension, or so he thought because this storage space is limitless. Thankfully, he owned the Sky Poison Pearl, so everything within it was under his control.

He arrived at the secluded area and saw Xuanyuan Yufeng's body frozen in an ice crystal. She was literally naked, with some cuts and holes due to Pandora overusing her body.

Yu Long thinned the ice and observed her body for research purposes only.

At first, Yu Long didn't find anything special about Xuanyuan Yufeng, but then he realized something. The changes Pandora installed into Xuanyuan Yufeng are to her very genetic codes.

Pandora didn't just change Xuanyuan Yufeng into a hybrid human.

She's changing her into a shapeshifting-type human!

The laziness in Yu Long's eyes is gone. He smirked because Pandora had left him quite a gift.

Silence ensued, and Yu Long could only mock himself for telling a woman in a coma about her father's death. He shook his head bitterly and didn't notice Xuanyuan Yufeng's soul stirred.

... 1st Person Pov's Beginning ---

Xuanyuan Yufeng is never asleep. Even when Pandora took over her body, she was always awake and watched from a third-person perspective of how weak her mistress was before Yu Long.

I felt like like a child who had her worldview shattered.

Then, everything around me was 'abruptly' shut down.

Dread, anxiety, betrayal, horror, sadness, fear, helplessness, and much more.

All kinds of emotions stirred in the vessel that used to be a woman called Xuanyuan Yufeng.

But one emotion stands still.

Confusion.

I was not the Heavenly Sword Villa's Mistress anymore.

Nor was Xuanyuan Yufeng.

I'm just a puppet for her mistress(Pandora) to play, a clay for her to shape and toss aside anytime.

"Why am I still alive?"

"Mistress, mistress, where are you?"

"Why did you leave me alone? Am I no good?"

Question after question, I felt like a vessel with nothing inside.

I started to question myself.

Then, answers started appearing.

I finally found my purpose.

"Sure." Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue glanced at each other before nodding at his words.

'What's with that reply?' Yu Long's eyelids twitched because they didn't seem to believe him.

He snapped his finger, "Anyway, let's wake her up. I want to learn Xuanyuan Yufeng's side of the story."

The ice crystal cracked because of Yu Long's voice and slowly emanated heat. Warm mist filled the room and made them feel like they were staying in a sauna.

A refreshing scent filled their nostrils.

Slowly but surely, the ice crystal's size reduced.

It took one minute for the crystal to dissolve completely, and Xuanyuan Yufeng moved like lightning.

She's charging at Yu Long.

'Danger!' Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue wanted to prevent Xuanyuan Yufeng from getting closer.

Weirdly, their bodily movement becomes slower than a snail.

"Superpower, Slowness!" Yu Long exclaimed in surprise.

"You-!"

Xuanyuan Yufeng ignored Yu Long and hugged him to the floor, taking his lips like a hungry cougar.

"Thank you." She desperately said.

"Thank you."

"Thank you!"

"You're my benefactor!"

"Please, let me be your servant. I will do anything!"

'What the fuck??' Yu Long pushed the hungry cougar away. Her slowness superpower can't affect him.

Xuanyuan Yufeng kowtowed and smacked her head against the floor many times, "Please let me be your servant, Master."

"You're my only light in this world!"

"Please..." She cried emotionally.

Yu Long wiped his mouth and frowned, "Why are you doing this?"

Xuanyuan Yufeng looked at him weakly, "I..."

"I don't know."

"I was confused."

"I felt lost, and then I heard your voice."

"You're my guide in the darkness."

"My only companion in loneliness."

"I need you as my goal."

"And what goal is that exactly?" Yu Long's frown deepened.

Xuanyuan Yufeng breathed in and squeezed words from her throat, "To be free."

"You're my freedom!" Her unwavering voice reverberated in the still house.

Yu Long froze on the spot. He stared at Xuanyuan Yufeng in a new light.

He also realized that Xuanyuan Yufeng was awake when he healed her body.

"You also said you want to be responsible for me." Xuanyuan Yufeng teared up.

"I'm not talking about... Aih, whatever." Yu Long laughed bitterly. From the corner of his eyes, he saw his Karma Threads had formed a connection with Xuanyuan Yufeng.
