Chapter 330 Build a family together Kimmy and Cain ate lunch with Daniel, and the elder couldn't help but tease the couple, "You two… Both of you are blooming and shining. It's indeed nice to be in love."
Cain chuckled, "And we will work hard in giving you grandchildren soon, Father."
Kimmy elbowed Cain. She blushed hard in embarrassment due to Cain's candidness while she was around.
"That sounds good, son. I will surely anticipate that," Daniel beamed with excitement as he imagined a lot of kids filling their mansion with pearls of laughter and giggles.
"Later, we'll eat dinner at the palace, father. We're planning to formally announce the good news to Kimmy's family. Also, I'm planning to go abroad with Kimmy before the wedding to introduce her to Mom and my other siblings," Cain informed.
"That's great. It'll be hard for your mother to travel abroad, so you should visit her instead. Maximize the days you can spend there, yeah?" Daniel suggested.
After breakfast, Cain tried to coax Kimmy to go with him to their bedroom. However, she insisted on walking around Lewis's garden instead.
"I don't trust you," Kimmy chortled.
"What?!"
"I could tell that you're planning to do more of your so-called 'exercises' with me, so it's better we stay out here in the open. No going inside the bedroom together until evening to sleep. If you want, then you can rest alone," she chided. "Of course, just don't bring me with you," Kimmy continued as she sat on the chair.
Cain pulled out another chair as he sat beside her. She then grabbed Kimmy's hand and murmured, "Why do you sound like I'm too perverted…"
Kimmy chuckled, "Because you are? Well, it's a good thing so long as you're only a pervert towards me and only me. That, and so long as you're physically fit for it. I'll even allow you to do it nonstop! But hellloooo… You still need to recover well, okay? There's no harm in waiting a bit…"
Cain ended up sighing. He honestly already felt better and stronger than usual.
'Weird,' he thought. His sense of smell as well seemed to improve by a lot. He leaned closer to Kimmy and asked, "What perfume are you using? I like it."
Kimmy's eyebrows furrowed "I don't use any perfume. I've never used one ever. It's just my natural scent."
"I love your natural scent then. I can't explain it, but it's so enticing that it keeps me drawn to you," Cain whispered as he rested his head on Kimmy's shoulder.
"When do you plan to leave and visit again? I mean, you have to make sure that it's safe for you to travel first. Besides, we can also delay the wedding if you want until we see your mother." Kimmy suggested. She was honestly nervous about meeting Cain's mother, including his other siblings. She only hoped that they would like her the way that Cain's father liked and accepted her.
"No way. We won't delay the wedding. We can visit her even after the wedding here. We can also have a serene wedding at country V with her if she wants to," Cain commented.
Kimmy chuckled, "Fine then. We'll do things your way since I don't want you to feel insecure again. I'm willing to marry you any time, anywhere, and even how many times you want, Cain Lewis."
Cain lovingly kissed Kimmy's hand and whispered, "Can we just go inside already? I really want to shower you with so much love right now. That declaration you just made…"
Hearing him trail off, Kimmy chuckled, "Let's stay here for a bit more and adore how Father beautifully handled and maintained this garden. Your parents seem to have a good relationship even after the separation."
"Hmm, yeah. They both decided that it'll be better if they split early. It was a mutual decision. They had been in an arranged marriage and my father seems to love work more than my mother anyway," he recounted. "Their arrangement didn't blossom into loving each other. As a result, it was way too easy for my father to let my mom go. Maybe it was because he wasn't in love with her? It wasn't easy for me too at first. I was torn. I didn't want to leave my father here alone. But at the same time, I want to stay with my mom too. So what I did was to come home here after school breaks yearly, " he chuckled.
"It's just one to two months at most. Mom then remarried with another man and had another son and a daughter. Hardin is twenty-eight and Alice is twenty-five. I'm sure you'll like them. My stepfather is a good man, so I honestly didn't have a hard time living with my mom and my second family."
"Hmm, that's good. I'm glad that it all turned out well with you and your family," Kimmy nodded. "I'm sure your parents are proud of how well you grew up despite them not being together."
"Hmm, it's all honestly up to you. I mean, things can go bad all the time, and I just strive harder to be a good person as much as I can be. I didn't experience what it's like to have a complete family, but I still dreamt of having my own complete family in the future, so I vowed to do my best to achieve that dream…" Cain then raised his head and stared at Kimmy as he continued, "Kimberly, can you help me fulfill that dream please?"
Kimmy couldn't help herself as tears began rolling down her cheeks. She had failed to do it years ago… But she would definitely fulfill it now. Together with Cain, building their complete happy family.
"Of course, things won't be easy. We'll experience ups and downs in our journey, but I'm hoping that we cant hold on together and do our best…" Cain murmured with his head slightly bowed down.
Shaking her head, Kimmy cupped his face, raising his head so that they could look at each other's eyes.
"Don't think like that. We'll definitely build a family together. I won't make the same mistake of letting you slip away twice. You're stuck with me now, no matter what you might try to do," Kimmy firmly stated.
Cain couldn't help himself. Lovingly, he pulled Kimmy in for a passionate kiss.
"That's a deal… No letting go no matter what," he whispered lovingly into her lips before sealing his lips with hers once more.
