Bodies spent, the couple cuddled each other on the bed and none dared to let go.
"I feel sticky," Brione whispered. Her head was resting on Gavin's chest, her hair spread all over while her arm hugged his chest. Gavin's arm was on her back as well, pulling her closer.
"Want to clean up? Let's take a quick shower, I will bathe you," Gavin replied while his other hand gently stroked her long silky soft hair.
"Hmm, let's do that later. For now, let's stay like this for a while," Brione whispered back. She felt like she was still in bliss. She was with the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Everything that happened was still like a dream for her. Who would have thought that after one long year… She would unexpectedly see Gavin again… so alive and so well… in another's identity and yet, in the end, she was still able to recognize him as the man she loved and would love no matter what.
"What are you thinking Sweetheart?" Gavin asked while he kissed her hair.
"Nothing, I'm just so happy right now that I had to remind myself that this is real and not a dream," Brione answered.
"Yeah, me too. To be honest I thought you would get angry with me since I was a bit late in telling you that I am the real Gavin. I was hesitant to tell you about it before since I was scared that you might realize that you just want nothing more between us but friendship.
But then, you confessed that you love me so that gave me the courage to reveal to you that I'm Gavin. It felt so nice that you gave me a positive response after. I felt it… How you longed for me when you cried and hugged me that instant."
Brione tilted her head to level her sight on his face and said, "You don't know how many times I prayed and hoped that you were alive, how many tears I shed and the heartaches I felt knowing I lost you, Gav.
I was so devastated when you went missing. Why would I take things negatively when all I want is for you to return in my arms? I don't have the time to drag things by being negative when I can experience being on cloud nine knowing that I am loving the same man… one man… you!"
She felt that a thorn that was stuck in her heart was removed when she said those words. It made her breathe properly again. So instead of being pessimistic, she was overwhelmed with so much gladness.
"Thank you for not giving up on me that easily. I mean, a year passed and you're still single. I'm glad that you didn't meet any man and get married during those times or else I would be really heartbroken. I am lucky I was able to see you just in time," Gavin stated with a sigh.
"What are your plans for tomorrow? Don't you want to return to work and start Anchoring news again? I think your comeback received a good response from the netizens and I'm sure many will request to put you back in the evening news once more." Brione commented.
"Nah, I think when I left back then, I also left the Anchoring career. Something inside me is just telling me that I should just focus on writing," Gavin whispered. He has questions left unanswered concerning his identity. It was bugging him deeply but he knew he should take things slowly. Right now, what mattered most was to help his father in taking down the man responsible for every chaos in their family.
"I am thinking of visiting uncle Damiel in his main house where you grew up. It's along the neighborhood where Noah is currently living with his wife. It may help bring back some memories," Brione suggested.
"Alright. Let's do that." He nodded in agreement. "By the way, I saw your performance a while ago about the song you composed for me. Sadly, I was not able to finish watching it since I rushed to the party so that I can save you from that bastard. Can you play me all those songs whenever you are free? I would love to hear it from you, sweetheart,' Gavin said with a smile. Kevin sent him a video copy and he was so proud watching his wife give a good performance.
Gavin suddenly recalled the trackers he requested so he moved and sat up. He opened the drawer on the bedside table and grabbed the boxes.
Brione sat up as well as she covered her body with the quilt. She rested her head on Gavin's shoulders while she watched him opening the box.
"These accessories have trackers. I just want to make sure that I will be able to find you in times of danger Bri so you must wear all of them at all times. Do not remove them as much as possible." Gavin informed her.
"These are accessories for couples," Brione said with a smile, seeing everything was in pairs.
"They are so cute," Brione commented.
"Tomorrow we will need to put another one on your mobile phone as well. Honestly, I want to implant one on your shoulder but I know how you hated those stuff so I resort to these," Gavin whispered.
"Wait… Did you recall it? You remember?" Brione asked.
Gavin chuckled and replied, "No, I've read it in your profile so it's only normal for me to know your likes and dislikes, right?"
"Oh yeah… You're like an obsessed fan huh?" Brione teased.
Gavin grinned as he retorted, "Yeah, your most obsessed fan!"
Gavin suddenly pounced on her, tickling her sides and making her laugh out hard. They would often do this kind of thing. Gavin would tickle her like this in the past but not on the bed and not naked!
Brione wrestled him and went on top of him, pinning Gavin down as she straddled him between her legs.
"How come you're already hard when we're just playing like these? Don't tell me it's like this whenever we do this on the couch or floor before?" she curiously asked, wondering if Gavin would get hard too back then without her knowledge.
Gavin laughed and replied, "Are you really serious about asking me that right now, sweetheart?I can't even recall it yet! I'm sure it's the same for me even if we're not naked. Imagine the suffering you have caused me before… the torture and torment! I must collect unlimited payments by tiring you often in bed!"
