Chapter 2 - Progress (Part 1)
A few days have passed since I started living with Hoshimiya.
I guess it was time to get used to this lifestyle.
At first we fought about the laundry and where to sleep, but now we can get through the day steadily. We've solved the bedding problem by buying a new futon.
The shop robber has been caught, so the only problem left is the stalker.
However, I can't feel any signs of the stalker's presence yet.
I wonder if the stalker was alerted by my presence.
So, I'm living a rather peaceful and fulfilling life.
However, I felt that something was wrong.
From that day when I dated Hoshimiya for the first time ...... she became much nicer to me.

"Wake up. Kuromine-kun, hurry up and get up."
I woke up because of the swaying in my shoulders and saw Hoshimiya's face on the ceiling. It was Hoshimiya in gal mode. She was wearing her school uniform and the makeup on her face looked perfect. Is it ...... morning already?
"Hurry up and get up, Kuromine-kun. If you don't get ready soon, you'll be late for school."
"I understand. ......Goodnight."
I was still sleepy. I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. "Wake up!" but my shoulder was shaken by her again. As expected, I couldn't ignore it and lazily, I got up.
"Here, wash your face."
"O......."
"Brush your teeth properly."
"......ke."
I went to the bathroom in a daze and washed my face and brushed my teeth as Hoshimiya had told me to.
......There's something strange.
As I was brushing my teeth, I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and wondered.
No, what happened to Hoshimiya was normal. ......But it feels strange to say that it's normal.
"I've made your lunch box, Kuromine-kun."
"Nnn..."
"Don't forget!"
"Nn---"
Hoshimiya's voice came from the room, and I gave a short answer while brushing my teeth.
What should I do? I was treated to an astonishing degree.
I'm here to prevent stalkers, right?
Confused by this situation, I finished my toothbrush and returned to the room.
"Kuromine-kun. Please have breakfast."
Hoshimiya placed breakfast on the table. White rice, omelet, grilled fish, miso soup ...... was the standard menu.
You might think I'm being prejudiced, but I don't think it's a breakfast made by a gal.
I mean, is Hoshimiya really a gal?
With that thought, I sat down near the table, picked up the prepared chopsticks, and started eating in silence.
Hoshimiya was a good cook, which was one of the things I learned about him during our stay together.
"Hey, Kuromine-kun! You haven't fixed your hair yet!"
"......Isn't it already neat?"
"No, it's not! Here, be quiet."
"......"
Hoshimiya, with a comb in his hand, combed my hair and fixed my hairline.
I felt like I was being cared for rather than cared for.
Am I his pet or something? ...... Well, whatever.
"There, there. You've worked hard since morning."
Hoshimiya, who finished tidying up, also started eating his breakfast.
She was starting to look like a mother.
Hoshimiya and I spent the morning sitting across from each other at the table... it was part of our daily routine. While she wondered if this was enough, it looked like she had a sense of satisfaction that she had never experienced before.
After breakfast, I washed her dishes. That way, it would be time for us to go to school.
"Kuromine-kun! You should change into your school uniform immediately!"
"Oh yeah, forgot..."
"Why are you taking off your pajamas in front of me?!"
"......I'm used to it, okay? You've even seen my underwear a million times."
"No, I didn't! I didn't have a chance to see it!"
Hoshimiya turned away from me in panic.
I'm still wasn't used to something like this.
I'm sure he's seen my underwear many times while doing laundry.
"We live together in a small room, so I think it's inevitable that we see each other's things."
"Well, but still, I want you to be a little more careful about it. I'm nervous..."
"Why don't you come to my house instead? I have an empty room, so we can live comfortably."
"I-It's...too early...I guess. I can't believe I have to go to a boy's house...!"
"That's a lower hurdle than letting a man stay in your house, you know..."
I was a little surprised to see Hoshimiya's face turn red.
She was a bit strange, or perhaps, a bit naive.
