Chapter 59 - Brighton, third wheel?

"Hello! Beautiful ladies, can I join you guys?"

Both the girls were chirping happily totally ignoring the surroundings and the customers around them.

When a man approached them tiptoed and halted close to their table with a gentleman manner.

Lolita lifted her head up to see the man while Syna followed her lead immediately upon the man's voice which was familiar to her.

"Mr Brandon? Eh, you here?"

Syna blurted out to him questioning his sudden emergence, though she knew that he was just an ordinary baker and could visit that coffee shop.

"Yes, my ladies. I was just passing by and you two sitting here from that window."

Brandon Brighton explained his appearance by pointing out towards the see through window that wasn't serving a filter between the coffee shop hall and the street.

"Oh! I see. Actually I wanted to meet you too Mr Brighton."

Syna realized the opportunity to talk to him when the chance crawled to her itself, and she didn't have to bother to search him out for a meet up.

"Would you mind if I prefer to sit first to hear you out?"

Brandon chuckled softly to make the ladies realize that they didn't offer him a seat.

"Oh! yes, Mr Brighton. Have a seat besides me."

Lolita who was literally drooling over the handsome man standing close to her, offered him a seat next to her.

"Thank you, dear ladies. I'm sorry for interrupting your fun by my arrival but as I arrived for a latte and saw you both, and thought it would be better to have a wonderful company rather drinking alone."

Brandon explained beforehand the ladies could question further out of curiosity as Syna became cautiously alarmed of the people around her as Lolita and she believed in supernatural things now.

"It's completely okay Mr Brandon and I'm glad that you chose to join us rather preferring a cup alone."

Syna parted her lips to utter something but Lolita lunged forward, her eyes stitched to his handsome features as she agreed to his words.

Brandon seated himself next to Lolita and opposite to Syna, as he felt his body tensed up under Lolita's penetrating stare.

The handsome devil intentionally selected a black skin fit jeans and same shaded high neck shirt, personally made for him with small ruby buttons started from the neck and tracing downwards, the track was slightly towards the right rather in the middle.

The ordinary bakery owner donned a sharp magenta shaded coat with neatly stitched collars upon that black 'Grim Reaper' dressing to add some colors of life.

"Please hear me out first Mr Brighton, I don't know how to put it into words that won't hurt you but I have found my man, the person I love and with whom I want to spend the rest of my life."

Syna began with her apology in a serious voice and hesitantly while Lolita registered in her mind at this spot that Brandon Brighton was the guy from online dating site.

"Miss Syna, I believe a person who has found his or her love shouldn't be bothered by such things, you and I met through an online dating site and we haven't been in a serious relationship but I'm happy for you. May you both be blessed."

Brandon chipped his blessings to Syna in a genuine tone and shifted his eyes towards Lolita with a naughty smirk.

"So, now I believe your friend is still single."

His meaningful grin made Lolita flushed a little and a wave of sensation circulated in her body which left Syna totally confused that how that man converted his attention towards her best friend.

"How you presumed that Mr Brandon?"

Lolita, totally impressed by his observance questioned him out of curiosity. Brandon slipped his hand, as his skin brushed against Lolita's and the mere act left her bemused.

"Because my lady you are not wearing any ring or something that could manifest that you are taken."

The lovey dovey duo got lost into each other's eyes leaving Syna with expressions grimaced with disgust.

The bride of the Ghost King felt it really weird that how those two got along that well in their first meeting and it made her feel like puking how Lolita was drooling over Brandon.

"I'm already full for now, I will see you around, love."

After Brandon and Lolita exchanged their contact numbers Brandon got up from his seat and intentionally glanced at Syna who pursed her lips in a kind of jealousy.

"Will be meeting soon?"

Lolita questioned him as a wide smile graced her face, she stretched her hand out as Brandon demanded with his signalling eyes.

"Why not, very soon."

He brushed his pink lips onto the glowing skin of her hand and Lolita felt sparks of electricity in her body, something like fireworks.

Brandon left the coffee and as he stepped out a grin appeared on his face as he hushed something softly and his eyes flashed red.

"My bride!"

"Let me drive you home buddy."

That was a good suggestion as Syna was a light drinker and soju plus beer didn't do any good to her.

Lolita knew the address as Syna was that sane to narrate and remember clearly the mansion of Sinclair.

"Here we go give me the key, do you have any?"

Syna was loosely hanging in her embrace sure she was a bit taller and stronger than Lolita but the petite lady was not a delicate barbie doll either when it came to take a stand.

"N-no, knock down the front door and yell to him that I'm back."

Elmore was sent back immediately by Syna herself as she didn't want a spy close to her, although she was on that mission herself.

"As you say, girl."

Lolita dragged her along towards the main door after they both stepped out of the cab and with one bang someone opened it.

His expressions were so scary as Syna expected but the sight caused Lolita to gulp her fear.

"Here, sir. She drank a lot and, good night."

Lolita bowed to Sinclair and immediately ran away, after all who would like to face the wrath of the Ghost King, in between the mess her words became lousy that she forgot that it was evening.

Before going she pushed Syan towards him and she stumbled upon his body, luckily he held her tightly and looked at her eerily with a stern expression.

"You little ...do you know how late you are?"

Syna heard his voice clearly that he was angry and worried about her and wondered if she was his responsibility.

"I- time flew quickly."

She swayed in his embrace like a feather and that was the last thing she remembered before passing out there on the main gate of Sinclair's manor and in the embrace of the powerful multimillionaire tycoon.
