"I have to take you somewhere, honey. Meet me in the parking lot of the manor in the evening."
Sinclair informed Syna on the call before leaving his cabin for a meeting.
He knew that it was necessary to clear up the things before she could do any false assumptions and fall prey to misunderstandings again in this life. The Lord already had a hunch that Syna got hurt by how Braille behaved and he could feel her heart aching.
"Huh? Okay."
Syna replied short with a glum tone and ended the call.
"Did the endless nights not drain the draughts of pleasure, which from passion like ours may unceasingly flow; Let us pass around the chalice of love's bliss in full measures; and quaff the remains of such nectar below; thee is a single Dandelion in the kingdom; the finest to admire; bring the stinging nettles to such foreign journeys as part of thy attire; touch my lips and speak softly to me; this luxurious slave I am simply to be;"
Syna knew they have to talk about their feelings and now there was much more to share, explain and to tell. And it was the right time for them to clear up the things and to narrate the unsaid ones.
Arranging the files into a pile Syna came out of her cabin on the same floor, as she had to pick up a few documents to study at home. After all she needed something to do at home, which she was referring to Sinclair's manor.
Almost everyone was gone for lunch in that floor which relieved her tension rising in her body as she did not want everyone to infer that something had happened between him and her boss.
Although every employee already knew about their love affair, just didn't dare to utter anything, and she came to the ground floor by elevator as she saw Caitlin packing her things for leaving.
She smiled at Syna, the reception desk girl liked her, and she was the only one who was not jealous of her being sticking close to Sinclair, and there were many possible reasons behind that. First the lady could already have a boyfriend or she certainly did not consider Sinclair, her type.
The information desk girl was on the ground floor and she hated Syna to the core. Moreover, that human girl was a lackey of Braille and she was the one who passed the information to the obsessive lady, Braille Matteo.
Caitlin gave her back the same expression warmly again as she carelessly pushed the things into her Gucci handbag, even the lower rank worker was earning a fortune under Sinclair's rule! Syna headed towards the entrance when Caitlin called her from back.
"Wait for me, Syna."
Syna stopped at once and turned around while Caitlin hurriedly joined her and both the ladies strolled towards the exit.
"You are going on your own?"
She asked Syna sensing something fishy through her stone faced expressions.
"Ah! yeah, and you?"
By this month Syna learned how to show consistent expressions and behave normally around others to mingle successfully, adapting new atmosphere.
It was obvious that the lady was trained under circumstances and initially arrived as a journalist with a task, which was forgotten somewhere behind. Sinclair's love drugged her senses and corrupted her mind, he was the only person in her mind now.
"Yeah! Err, no. Actually I have a date today. So my boyfriend will be picking me up soon."
Caitlin informed her while brushing her fingers in hair, her cheeks blushed and a pink shade tinted them.
"Oh! Wait."
She halted at sudden realization and rattled for something in her bag. Finally the chubby petite lady receptionist dressed in mango yellow shoulderless short dress pulled out a red lipstick.
Syna could not help but laugh at her nervousness and patted her shoulder as both the ladies stood at the entrance of the conglomerate.
"Pffft! There is no need to be nervous and don't panic. You will do good and…"
Syna trailed off and pulled off the shoulder strap of her Hermes Kelly Rose Gold handbag, a luxury Sinclair gifted her and forced her to showcase that she belonged to him.
"And here take this. It's lunch time and a red lipstick wouldn't be suitable in such a bright light. Apply this rose pink, it will go pretty well with your yellow dress."
After a struggle of a few second Syna emerged with an expensive lipstick and suggested Caitlin. The innocent lady's face beamed at once, it wasn't a shocking thing for her to witness such expensive things belonging to Syna, because everyone else in the company already knew that she was Sinclair's woman.
"Aw! That is so kind of you. Thank you."
Caitlin hugged Syna immediately, she didn't imagine the tycoon's woman to be this humble and caring.
"It-its nothing. Heh, you are sqeez-ing me, Caitlin."
Although Syna did gym for a long time but Caitlin was clinging to her neck because of her short height which made it hard for Syna to breath.
"Wwahh, I'm sorry."
Caitlin became embarrassed at once upon her own impulsive act that she apologized which caused Syna to giggle at her naivety.
"Here, now hurry up before he arrives."
Syna pushed the lipstick into her hand and Caitlin slipped her fingers on cell phone to open the camera. The lady applied the light pink shade and Syna stared at her imagining herself, in her place, in that romantic situation.
Sinclair's words echoed in her ears as she recalled her call. And her mind drifted to imagine every possible romantic scene that could happen between them, after all she was also having a date with the Lord tonight.
"It's so beautiful, you have a good fashion sense. Syna? Syna?"
Caitlin was calling her name repeatedly as she saw Syna completely zoned out. Her voice brought her back to present and Syna felt embarrassed upon realizing that how much she loved him.
Syna giggled as she took the lipstick back and both the ladies exited. Caitlin hugged her once again, this time a little cautiously, not to suffocate her.
"Well that's good. Mother Goddess will bless you both."
Syna lifted her one hand imitating a Goddess and muttered the blessing to the girl, which made Caitlin laugh at her act.
Meanwhile a yellow cab stopped by the parking and the horn banged loudly, as a handsome man crept out and waved energetically towards their direction. Caitlin bid goodbye to Syna and left with her boyfriend during lunch time.
She glanced back at the soaring building which was almost touching the sky and smiled like a fool. She was confirmed and clear to her feelings that no matter what she couldn't leave him, and concluded that conversing is the only solution towards such problems.
Syna was willing to join the roller coaster ride with Sinclair and they both acknowledged the important fact that negotiations were the key towards a smooth relationship.
Moreover, Sinclair was eager to step forward with his explanations, as the Lord did not want the past to repeat itself. He already had paid the price to wait for centuries for her bride to be reborn.
