Chapter 81 - You Wouldn't Be Able To Leave Your Bed!

Syna walked towards the parking as had to take the exit from there to get to the cab stand, but a horn yanked out loud and the deafening horn made Syna to avert her gaze from where the sound came from and saw Sinclair, he was already waiting for her in the car.

Syna couldn't get why he was waiting for her down there when he told to get ready at night. She was staring at him when Sinclair signalled her to come and get in, to his call the bride strolled towards the black Bentley.

"What is he doing here?"

Syna muttered to herself in breath completely quizzical as she board the luxurious car worth millions.

"You ladies are so slow in heels, don't wear it anymore. I can't wait much to see you, moreover you are already tall enough to match me."

Sinclair chipped in a complaining tone as his one hand rested in the steering.

His puppy yet complaining expressions made Syna laugh wholeheartedly.

"Huh? Now you are laughing at my pathetic state. You know I can't wait to steal a glance at you."

A smile appeared on his face which assured him that Syna wasn't angry and didn't misunderstand anything.

"Oh really? If I'm laughing what you will do?"

Syna faced him and teased in a challenging tone.

"I will punish you, my lady, that you wouldn't be able to leave your bed for a whole day."

Sinclair smirked with evilness as his eyes flashed red for an interminable moment.

Syna became flustered upon his blunt words, her body stiffened under his heated gaze. A whole new sensation began to build up in her body that she could feel herself longing for his intimate touch.

"Uh, why are you here? You were supposed to be in the company."

Syna tried to change the topic as she wanted to take their relationship on a slow pace and sharing a single bed wasn't intended that soon from her side.

The poor soul didn't even know that she was destined to be his bride from the start. The sin she committed in her past life made her lose her memories including her days of dating Sinclair and getting married to the lord.

The punishment of memory erasing was severe for both, no matter how hard Sinclair try to make her remind it was useless. As for the lady she had already lost the memorial halcyon days which were once an important part of her life.

"Oh! About that...I thought I should not wait for the entire evening to come to you and clear up the things."

The Lord didn't say anything about the past that something like that had already happened in their past life as it was absolutely useless, the lady's brain didn't had any clue or any stored memory even in her subconscious mind.

"Ah! If you are talking about that girl then I will trust your words and explanations."

Syna spoke within assured tone as she stared Sinclair in his eyes. Sure the lady became strong headed and intellectual in this life, unlike her previous impulsive and inflexible nature.

"Inceptions of our love; for thee always gave me the softness I deserved; plucked roses and sunflowers for me when my thoughts turned to the lost hopes; a true poet thee is destined to be; Oh young Shakespeare give me a reason; to whisper to thee; to conquer thee like a woman;"

"Well, my love, you know we need to talk about...about that...I mean what happened today."

Sinclair was clearly nervous and the mighty lord was stuttering, while struggling with his words which were not coming out from his mouth.

Syna tried to suppress her giggling upon his nervousness which made him even more puzzled, how to say things.

"Well yeah."

"Actually you know Syna, I kissed you completely out of jealousy that night but that wasn't impulsive,  I meant the kiss."

He was speaking starting the things from the night they attended the senate gathering.

"Well, it wasn't all of a sudden. I...I fell in love with you the day you joined my company."

Sure the Lord hid the fact that they already had met when he was accidentally transported to her apartment.

Syna was listening calmly but her heart was dancing all along. She felt herself flying out of joy and took the initiative to pull the lord out of his nervous and panicked state.

"I love you too, boss. I don't know how and when, but I do sincerely. And you don't have to explain the things with that girl."

"Aw! that's - that's, oh my! Syna, that was all I wanted to listen again and I won't ever break your trust on me."

He held her hands and pressed his forehead with hers, slightly giggling upon being so fortunate for having her.

"I'm sorry, boss, I made you worry for that long."

Syna whispered teasing him by addressing with such formality, knowing that he hates to be called by her by that title.

"It's okay, my love, I also wanted to clear up thus hurried down here. And don't call me boss again."

Sinclair poked her forehead slightly and faked his anger.

"So, what should I call you?"

Syna questioned him meekly, scratching her cheek with index finger nail.

"Err...darling, my love, my baby, or a handsome hunk will also do the deed or perhaps, future husband!"

Sinclair teased her with all those lovely options as he pretended to be thinking deeply.

While Syna blushed upon the last title as she recalled Sinclair calling her by 'Mrs' early this morning. She lowered her head she replied to him.

"M-my sweetie pie, Sinclair!"

Syna was daring indeed although her red fuming cheeks were showing her feelings, the lady selected such a cheesy nickname.

Sinclair laughed wholeheartedly upon her reply and caressed her cheek with the thumb of his right hand which was previously holding the steering firmly.

The lord was facing her as both stared into each other's eyes, something magnetic didn't let them to pull their eyes off. Sinclair leaned in as his warm breath brushed her lips, the tip of his nose touched his as their foreheads collided.

"Vulnerable I come to thee; with me and my naked belongings; quiet yet screaming; demonic yet faithful; childless yet bearing the forbidden fruit; scratching at facades homemade by Hades;"

Sinclair savoured the moment for a few seconds and as Syna closed her eyes, a smirk appeared on his face, he could hear her heart drumming loudly in his own ears, or perhaps it was his beating!

"I love you too, Syna. So, it's settled now. Let's go out somewhere."

Syna smiled as her face beamed with joy, her dazzling green eyes were open by now and she simply nodded.
