"How dare he talk to me like that?"

Phobe curled his fingers and clenched his fist tightly, the man was fuming with ire as soon as his meeting with the high and mighty noble vampire Lord ended.

"I have never seen such a shameless person, how dare that faggot talk like a man!"

Phobe forgot to choose his words correctly, as in anger a person's inner thoughts catch the voice which previously does not find any outlet, he insulted the vampire noble Lord who was absolutely indomitable and an undefeated being.

Although Phobe was reluctant to meet such a terrifying being but he didn't have any way to escape too, when the sentry of the noble vampire Lord barged into his castle with the scroll written by the Lord himself.

[ A few hours earlier ]

The massive door opened which accompanied a loud bang, that left all the lackeys of Phobe in a daze yet they became alerted at once upon hearing the deafening thud of the door, which fell on the ground blowing the specks of dust off the ground.

As soon as the gigantic brown wooden door made of some heavy and expensive wood opened, a young man appeared in the sight, draped into the dark shades of blackness, he seemed a 'shadow knight' who goes by the darkness and doing every deadly deed that could fall under the 'signature' of true blooded vampires.

"Who the hell are you? How dare you blow down the door and daringly barged into my castle!"

Phobe stood up immediately from the throne, his face clearly showed the expressions of disgust and irritation because of the hectic challenge to decode the symbols, he was reading the ancient scriptures and scrolls which he took from the 'forbidden library of Witchcraft and black magic', precisely the stolen scriptures.

"Are you tired of living? I'm giving you a few moments to state the reason of your insolent behaviour, speak up who are you!"

Lord Phobe barked at him and smirked as to impose his authority over the mysterious man who had daringly stepped into his courtroom, knowing that he was the emperor of the certain 'demonic realm'.

"Apologies, sire, but your guard was not letting me in. So, I had to knock him down along with the door, to enter your...palace."

The man slid his gaze across the whole courtroom and after a pause stated it as a 'palace', he didn't want to offend Phobe, not because he feared him any bit rather when his noble master had required his presence.

A bunch of men appeared in the hall completely laced, the Ghost Spirits with armoury and other rebellious lowly vampires arrived into the sight with their fangs grown out and eyes flashing red, the bunch of two hundred men hurriedly walked in and gathered around the mysterious uninvited man.

Each Ghost spirit had poisoned spears in their hands which were aimed towards the man, who didn't react, neither showed any panicky behaviour nor any expression of fear graced his face, rather an evil formed on his lips as the man remained rooted there with an air of self confidence around his silhouette, which emitted a dangerous aura.

"What is it, for which you had boldly injured my men!"

Phobe glared at him while spat angrily, the Lord resembled an aggressive animal because of his meeting with Braille. The lady had already pulled out her strategy without waiting for further instructions from him and now that mysterious man was up to add more to his rage.

"I assure you, I'm empty handed and won't hurt anyone... unless I'm triggered by any stimulus."

The man glanced at the cluster of warriors as if he was overlooking some mere ants, which he could crush within the blink of an eye. After levelling them with a smirk his eyes landed on Lord Phobe, as if the man was warning him not to lose his bunch due to his any foolishness.

"I'm here on behalf of my master, His Highness has sent a message for you, Lord Phobe."

The man narrated the reason of his sudden arrival while he addressed his master with respect and had been already disrespectful to Lord Phobe, through his treatment of indifference.

"Who is your master and what does he want from me?"

Phobe had already been tolerant to the mysterious man, but his expressions showed it all, that it was bearable. The Lord was gritting his teeth and the sole reason he didn't act in the first place was the dangerous black aura around the man's body, which was visible to every eye.

Although Phobe could try to wring his neck but the man's deadly scowl and the hunch of Phobe that even if he used all his strength the Lord didn't stand a chance against him, let alone winning from him in a duel. The man was just an ordinary vampire but still something was different about him, maybe he had signed a pact with his master who was giving him the strength.

"I'm here as the messenger of my master, Iñigo De Raizel, His highness, have requested your presence in his courtroom."

The vampire messenger didn't bother to bow down to Phobe, as he didn't regard anyone else superior in strength and worthy of utmost respect other than his master.

"What did you say...I-Iñigo De Raizel!"

Phobe stuttered upon hearing the name, he had heard it somewhere and knew that to visit that noble vampire Lord was similar to court death, he had never asked for someone's presence in person, especially with his hand written scroll. Why would he ask for him by sending his most trustworthy messenger?

Phobe had always kept his distance from the vampire community just because of that noble Vampire Lord, whose name could induce the shivers of fear in the body, the man was known for being a cold blooded animal, that even the Vampire King, himself, never dared to go against his decision.

"Yes, my noble Lord, has some affairs for you, precisely an important task."

The messenger pulled out the scroll from the inner pocket of his jet black robe, the paper was white with a red ribbon suffocating it's folds.

"You have to follow me right now, sire. If you choose to refuse, I have been permitted to kill you, I could do a hundred different ways without the use any armoury or magic."

The messenger could see Phobe's trembling hands which were holding the ancient scripture. It seemed obvious that he could snap a man's backbone like a twig, and won't even spare a King just because he was given the right to perform such an action by his master, the powerful vampire noble Lord.

"Lead the way."

Phobe tried to gather some courage to meet the noble Lord, he could refuse but it was of no use because the man was standing before him took the liberty of being the 'angel of death'. So, it was the best to follow the man, Phobe knew his decision would drag him into the lion's den but he had to give it a try.
