Chapter 152 - Sinclair, The Caveman! 2/3

Syna scolded herself inwardly but on the outside she was normal and responding under the influence of her true emotions, which refused to believe Sinclair a cheater even after seeing him with Jade. Upon her innocent shy response he laughed loudly.

"Stop it!"

Syna half yelled as she was really pissed off which was a facade and hid her face into his bare chest, as Sinclair was kneeling on the bed while Syna was standing.

"Don't be shy my wife, it is a sign of your love for me. No matter how much you try to deny it hard."

Sinclair stuck his tongue out and licked her neck on a certain point which made her moan as his tongue loved every inch of her milk skin.

"You are beautiful, honey."

He was trying hard to create the romantic atmosphere while being gentle genuinely, because now the intimacy of their souls doing 'that' could wake them both or else the duo would remain trapped in Syna's dreamland for eternity. He rolled his tongue up to cheek as Syna gave him the way and Sinclair slid his expert tongue into her mouth.

[ After a while/ The scene shifts ]

As we entered the famous restaurant of bustling New York, another one on the top chart. I was about to rush towards the bathroom when a female voice greeted Sinclair behind me.

"Ah, honey what brings you here, it's been a long time, where have you been?"

Out of jealousy I turned back immediately and saw the bar manager hugging him, her huge badge was flashing on her left breast. My blood boiled instantly, how dare she hug my man and why the heck Sinclair was treating her as...as he treated Jade Lombardi earlier!?

'Does she want to die, that bit*h? Wait, are they close?'

The way she greeted Sinclair seemed they have known each other, since years, but how?

'Why the hell I still cared for him, he is just a man who*e!'

The lady was hugging my man acting so intimately with him, the bastard and the bitch were behaving all gooey, sticking to each other arm in arm.

I forgot to answer the nature's call and walked up to them, jealous inwardly yet forced a smile precisely a grin on my face.

'How could I let some bit*h steal my man on the top in front of my eyes, under my nose!?'

Sinclair was talking to her sweetly comparatively his usual cold aura he keeps around women, which made me mad. I approached him and slipped my hand into his arm and placed my right hand on his sturdy chest, I tried every possible way to show her that the man she was trying to steal was already taken away.

I tried to control my anger which made me sound like a lioness, who was trying to stir a feud with some other female lioness, ready to pounce on each other because of a single prey 'Sinclair MacLaverty'.

"Hello there, can we get a table for two? I'm so hungry, dear husband."

Slipping my arm into his, I grabbed Sinclair's bicep tightly, I intentionally chose my words to show her that the man was mine!

I gritted venomously looking at Sinclair, hinting him that I was angry but to my surprise he was enjoying everything with amusing expressions, more likely a victorious smile.

"Oh, yes sure ma'am."

She showed us the way with a genuine smile, which seemed odd to me and we walked towards the corner, she had shown us.

Meanwhile, I never left his arm. As if I was trying to keep him under my chains! Which was also true as I intended exactly that, because maybe my heart was still refusing to believe the scene I had witnessed earlier, the poison of love had already corrupted my heart and I was willing to give it a try once again to Sinclair MacLaverty close to me.

"Who was that woman?"

As soon as he sat in the sofa I placed my question before him clearly, in an angry tone. My hands slammed against the wooden table gently, it was a small private cabin, surrounded by four walls, totally secure for couples, precisely a perfect place for an aristocratic person.

"Oh, why are you asking?"

Sinclair gave me some 'oh really?' expressions, clearly he was teasing me again but I was definitely not in a mood to take the bait. After all, I had caught him red handed before and wanted to confront him sternly, demanding an explanation that why Jade and he teamed up against me, they could have tell me to tell, to disappear from their lives but to kill me!

Wasn't that cruelty? I still couldn't comprehend that why my body was not working under my control rather every single word coming out of my mouth was what my heart was saying, the deepest yet confused desires I was having, not what my mind was suggesting.

"Just tell me how she knows you?"

I growled in agitation, fed up from his lies and narrowed my eyes.

"Oh, my, my! My wife is being jealous and even accepting the emotion."

Sinclair gave a lopsided grin and a soft chuckle escaped from his lips, sure he was succeeding with his plan, or perhaps the things were about to go wrong.

"Haha, well, she is my friend. I used to come here often with my friends, the lady is a manager here, recently promoted, I helped her in getting the job. Ahh, those were halcyon days."

He chuckled like it was not a big deal and definitely it turned out that I was just overthinking.

"Don't worry, love. I haven't took anyone else to bed other than you, my wife."

He winked at me and his words made my anger blow in the air, but still what did he took me to 'bed'? It seemed as if I was missing a huge chunk of memory or perhaps someone had erased it, or...I had many questions bearing 'what if, or, maybe, perhaps' but there was no answer, no other choice than to play along.

Sure, he knew how to deal with me, smart man. I lowered my head in embarrassment which made him laugh again, not because I actually felt shy but it was the reaction of my body under the spell of his love!

"Okay, let's order some light breakfast."
