POV Alesia:
Alesia stood quietly by her master's side in her bloodstained green dress, the dragon's imposing figure towering high above her petite body. Her eyes glowing in adoration and gratitude, were locked upon her master.
She felt joy and pride flow through her whole body, her draconic blood almost boiling, 'His highness thinks that I am important.'
It was a weird feeling that made her feel fulfilled as a child when praised by her parents or a teacher. It also made her confused why she felt like that.
Suddenly the cold voice of her master resounded through the cave, bringing her out of her inner world, "Alesia, you have served me well, so I will give you an official title fitting of your stance and talent."
These words sent shivers down her whole body, her heart beating even louder. All of the praise made her elven and draconic feeling of superiority even stronger, making her feel even more pride at being praised by her powerful master and getting acknowledged.
"From now, you will hold the rank of the Dragon of Craftmanship. You will command all of the minion craftsmen and artists joining this organisation in the future. You will be their leader, and you will also be one of my leaders that will lead this organisation in my absence."
At that exact moment, a weird feeling spread through her body. It felt as if she had suddenly fallen into a warm water pool. A pulse of unknown energy caused her to jolt, all of her limbs tensing up.
The runes in the room and the body of her master suddenly glowed brighter. Faint tendrils and streams of energy poured out of them, slowly moving towards Alesia.
'What is this?' she had no idea what it was, but her instincts were telling her that it was something good. It didn't look like mana or life force, 'If it is a gift from my master, then it has to be good. They said I am important.'
She stood there filled with anticipation as the tendrils kept getting closer to her, already reaching towards her skin. She didn't resist as the unknown energy slowly seeped into her, a warm feeling spreading through every nook and cranny of her body and soul.
Suddenly she became aware of something that she had never before felt. It was as if her body had some kind of empty bucket with the incoming streams of energy slowly filling it, droplet by droplet.
'Follow current novels on No v elBin.',
'What is going on?' she felt the bucket slowly filling up.
Finally, the bucket was filled, and a warm feeling exploded in her, seeping into every cell of her body and soul. She could feel her strength growing together with her perception and her speed of thought. She was sure that all of her capabilities were improving.
Finally, the feeling subsided, an even bigger bucket forming in her body with the few remaining tendrils of energy partially filling it.
She wasn't clueless about what it was. It was no secret that talented people could either use mana or life energy to enrich their bodies and soul, slowly growing stronger and smarter.
'But it is supposed to be a complicated process, and I simply sucked this weird energy out of my runes without any effort. What is going on? This doesn't even feel like it is mana or a life force. It is something else.'
Her heart started to beat loudly as she finally realised how powerful true dragons were, 'With just their words, they can accomplish the same thing as masters and experts after years of training.
'Is this the power of a true dragon? Their voice was always rumoured to be carrying a powerful force.'
She looked with her eyes glowing with her newly gained energy at her master. The dragon just stood there enshrouded by the veil of smoke.
As if some blindfolds were removed from her eyes, she finally spotted the same kind of weird energy flowing straight into her master from all directions, freely flowing through the clouds of smoke.
,m The dragon stood there, their eyes unfocused, absorbing all of the weird energy like a sponge. Alesia felt excited knowing her power grew so much just from the small trickle of the mysterious energy. And now she witnesses her master constantly absorb it in droves.
'Hahaha, this explains why my master was growing so fast! With this energy, there is nothing that can stop us!'
POV Vesuvius:
Vesuvius patiently waited for the system's verdict, his golden eyes unfocused as he waited for the ding.
Ding!

Finally, the sound that he had waited for resounded in his head, his gaze immediately darting towards its contents as he hoped for some good effects.
'This is more than good! This should allow her to level up while simultaneously increasing her skills.'
He was presently surprised as he expected at most one of these effects, not both of them.
Suddenly the dragon's mana-sensitive sight spotted that the aura radiating out of the small elven girl started to intensify and pulse. It was almost nothing to his eyes, but it was still a significant increase compared to her previous strength.
'She has already levelled up? How?'
Alesia fell on her knees, her eyes shining brightly as she looked at him with adoration that sent shivers down his spine, "Your Highness, thank you for your great gift! I will work hard to prove that I am worthy of the power that you have bestowed upon me!"
A large smile grew on her face, still covered in droplets of blood. Vesuvius could hear her heart pumping blood so fast that he started to worry about it bursting.
"You Highness, what is this energy that is making us stronger? It is not mana. Neither is its life force."
