Chapter 135

Name:Last Shelter Online Author:
The remaining five black-robed players decided to retreat. None of them took the initiative to stay and seize the dungeon they were after. Based on the agreement made by their leader who had been expelled from the game server after being killed outside the safezone, if Hiro won, then the dungeon was handed over to the Immortal Knights.

As usual, using a smoke bomb item, they finally disappeared from Hiro’s sight without saying anything.

Hiro breathed a sigh of relief. At least he could rest after using all his strength to beat up the uninvited guests. However, deep down, he was also curious about their motive for trying to seize the dungeon that was guarded by the members of the Immortal Knights.

What are they really after? Hiro forgot to ask them about it before they left.

“Thank you, Kid. Without you and your friends, we will definitely have to stop playing games for the next 7 days.” Dominic patted Hiro’s shoulder from behind, making him slightly startled.

Hiro turned around and gave the man a genuine smile. He felt he became a useful and reliable person now. Even a legend like Dominic, whom he admired, recognized his abilities.

Behind Dominic, the main party members of the Immortal Knights nodded in agreement. They also acknowledged Hiro’s abilities.

“If you want to go to the city, go ahead. We still have two and a half hours until 9. The others and I will be on guard here.”

Hiro looked at Dominic and suddenly he remembered his depleted potion energy supply. For now, he really had to rely on those potions because his energy points were still low. When he used demonic skills, his energy drained quite much.

“I will go to the nearest town,” he said, signalling Jacob to go with him. Jacob ran to Hiro and stood by his side.

“Come back before 9 p.m. with your party.”

Hiro almost forgot one important thing. He still hadn’t received a message from Noah or Cara after he invited them this morning. Even so, Hiro didn’t say anything to Dominic. He didn’t want to look like someone who didn’t keep his promise.

“Of course. See you later.”

Hiro and Jacob walked towards the dark forest, leaving the members of the Immortal Knights standing guard at the mouth of the cave.

Both fell silent. Jacob seemed to open his mouth repeatedly. However, the next second, he tightly closed his mouth again. It was as if he wanted to say something, but he changed his mind. Only God knew what’s bothering him.

Hiro didn’t notice Jacob’s behavior because he was still focused on thinking about the silver scythe wielder’s last words. What exactly did that mean? What did he want?

This was the first time Hiro would go to explore Moonspire City. It was breathtakingly beautiful and seemed very romantic.

Even though the place was freezing and snow covered all buildings, the countless number of warm lights scattered like a beautiful bridge from the main gate of the city. The light widened, and it became more and more dazzling in the city square. At night, the square functioned as an open market.

Hiro’s eyes gleamed when he saw the hustle and bustle in the exquisite town square, as if there was a big festival being held. The strains of music from various types of musical instruments sounded beautiful. It harmonized and made the mood instantly turn cheerful.

Some of the NPC children from the beast’s bloodline looked engrossed in playing on bicycles with only one large wheel, like a clown performing in a circus.

“Whoa! What place is this?!” Jacob even forgot what he wanted to say to Hiro because he was fascinated by the festive atmosphere of the town square.

Hiro smelled mouthwatering food from the thin puff of smoke that the wind carried towards him. Instantly, his stomach growled. Fortunately, the sound of the lively music managed to muffle it.

“Hiro, should we just move here?” Jacob really wanted to move to this place.

“Welcome!” Two female NPC from the beast’s bloodline, with blonde hair tied in a ponytail and a pair of white rabbit ears on their head, approached Hiro and Jacob. They distributed brochures they were carrying.

Hiro and Jacob were dumbfounded to see the two NPC girls. They were only wearing swimsuits in the middle of a freezing place covered in snow. Even so, the two of them didn’t seem to be shivering in the slightest. They gave a very charming smile that made Jacob’s face immediately turn red.

“Miss Bunny, good evening!”

Hiro glanced at his friend, who looked hypnotized by the bunny girls. Jacob didn’t even realize that one of the girls handed him a brochure. Hiro took the brochure and thanked the two NPC girls in front of him.

“Such a gentleman. I know you’re shivering in the cold. If you need warmth in this splendid Moonspire City, my number is listed in the brochure.” One of them brought her body close to Hiro’s chest, causing her two beautiful bosoms to press against him. For a moment, he forgot how to breathe.

And it didn’t stop there. The other girl moved and stood by Hiro’s side, wrapping her arms tightly in his left hand. Hiro could feel something soft and warm pressing against his biceps.

“We also have massage services that are guaranteed to satisfy a traveler like you, Sir,” she said in a sweet and seductive voice. Hiro couldn’t move. Only his eyes were looking at Jacob, asking for help.

“Ahee… we still have two hours, Hiro. Why don’t we just go along with these two beautiful ladies?”

Even his only hope betrayed him because of girls.

Finally, Hiro walked while dragging his footsteps because the two girls clung to his hands and forced him to step aside from the crowd of the square.

Jacob followed them cheerfully. Hiro could even guess what was on the man’s mind.

Meanwhile, Alice, who controlled Spyro, decided to hide inside the robe Hiro was wearing. And pretending like she wasn’t there.

They arrived in front of a two-story building. The light inside the building looked golden yellow. The sound of clattering glasses and cheers could be heard even from the outside.

A tavern. One of the taverns in Moonspire city, the tavern with the most strategic location compared to the others because of its location close to the square.

[Moonlight Tavern]

When Hiro entered the tavern with the two girls who helped him open the sliding door, his eyes immediately shifted to the corner of the room, finding a suspicious movement. It was exactly where a staircase with dim light was located.

Two men in black robes looked at their surroundings, making sure no one was following them before they went upstairs.
