Clank!
[Miss!]
Roarrr!
[Immortal object!]
[Can’t be defeated]
Hiro decided to run after seeing the notification. When he just slammed his greatsword into one of the monster’s legs, the monsters chased him away. He went into the forest and hid there. Because the grass that surrounded him was so high, he could easily escape from the pursuit of the T-Rex monster.
This time, Hiro found a lake that looked very calm, and the water was very clear. He could even see his reflection on the surface of the water, as if he was looking at a mirror. He had not done anything, but suddenly there was a black shadow moving very quickly towards him from the lake.
Splash!
[-1011]
[Immortal object!]
Hiro managed to dodge the attack of the creature that had just emerged from the lake. At the perfect time, Hiro drew his sword to ward off its attack.
The creature was once again just a skeleton, and it had an extremely long collarbone, almost twice the length of the vampire Blood-Eater’s blade.
The creature went back into the lake and made the lake water splash at Hiro’s body until he was drenched.
“Damn, what was that?”
Feeling the lake wasn’t safe, Hiro decided to continue walking away from the place. At the same time, he heard the sounds of animals that he often heard on the cinema screen.
Hiro was curious and decided to peek at the source of the sound. And again, the monsters were just skeletons. It seemed they were patrolling in that area. This time, the monsters that Hiro had seen before appeared in groups. In each group, there were six monsters of the same shape, only different in size. It varied from small to large.
No need to try it. Hiro was sure that they were also immortal objects. He just needed to choose another path and stay away from the monsters that could potentially kill him. It was a bit unfair. The monsters could attack Hiro and reduce his health points, but he couldn’t do any damage to them. No matter how powerful the attack, it would be counted as a miss by the system.
Hiro continued walking forward, trying to find the clues. But, as far as his eye could see, he could only see giant trees and grass. Occasionally, he ran into monsters with the body of the skeleton, but some of them were not aggressive. They even ignored Hiro, who passed in front of them.
“Is this a Jurassic Park cemetery?” Hiro kept walking without knowing the direction. His GPS System continued to record the path that Hiro had travelled actively, so that Hiro didn’t have to go around in circles at the same place.
After walking for a while, Hiro saw the ruins of a building that reminded him of the tribe that worshiped the sun. The Maya Tribe. The Pyramid of the Sun.
But, the building was half destroyed, while the other half was still standing high. Hiro checked the place because maybe he could find a clue there.
However, just looking at it from the bottom didn’t give him any answer. Hiro had to climb to the top, where there was a place like a rectangular altar. And to reach the altar, Hiro had to climb as high as 25 metres using a ladder overgrown with tendrils of plants.
Once again, he had no other choice but to give it a try.
The ladder attached to the pyramid building was so steep, and Hiro looked more like a wall climber than an ordinary climber. At some point, Hiro encountered the skeleton monsters whose body were as long as a snake. The monsters even hissed at the sight of Hiro, then Hiro threw small stones at them to drive them away by force.
Finally, he reached the top of the pyramid and found a square stone altar table there. It was large enough for a lion to sit on. However, the stone altar table had cracked, and it looked like it had not been used for a long time.
From a height of 25 metres, Hiro could see what place he was visiting. He really felt he was in a forest where the dinosaur era was. He could even see the enormous and tall bone monsters like brontosaurus gathering in the southern part of the forest.
“Well, how am I supposed to find a stone the size of a button’s shirt in this big place?” Hiro tried to recall what the dwarf NPC had said, hoping not to miss any important information that made him lose his precious time in this place.
“Hell stone. I guess the terrain is hell, not Jurassic world. The dwarf said something about the stone that was the source of life in the Voiceless Abyssal. However, it seems that this is no longer the Voiceless Abyssal. Could the NPC be wrong?”
Hiro sat on the crushed stone altar. He was in deep thought, thinking of some possibilities.
?[0)??? The only life Hiro had found since entering the Tower of the Death were the skeleton monsters, so he concluded that the life the dwarf NPC meant was the life of the skeleton monsters. It seemed that without the Hell stone Hiro was looking for, the monsters would return to being fossilized skeletons.
If it was true, then that meant the stone was really in this place. But where? The most important place to store the item should be in the center of the map. And Hiro felt that the center of the Jurassic forest was where he was now. Even so, it wasn’t easy to find such a small stone above the giant ruins of the stone building.
Feeling tired, Hiro laid down on the altar and looked up at the still bright sky above his head. He had almost forgotten that it was supposed to be dark and it should be in the middle of the night. Even when he checked his HUD system, it was still 2 in the morning.
“No sun, no clouds, and of course no stars.” Hiro muttered as if he was protesting to the sky that seemed to be moving up there.
Hiro raised his hands in the air to cover his face from the bright light of the sky. But, suddenly, he saw a light as big as a toy laser landed on the back of his hand. When Hiro moved his hand, the light became invisible. But when Hiro returned his hand to its original position, the light came back into view.
From what he had just tried, Hiro was certain that it was a reflection. And the thing that reflected the light was behind his back.
“Damn! How close have you been?”
A red gemstone seemed to sparkle and reflect the light from the sky. It was in the middle of the crack of the stone altar, unobstructed by anything.
Hiro quickly picked up the red gemstone.
Ding!
[You have obtained the Hell Stone Glass Gem]
A satisfied smile spread across Hiro’s face. However, that smile didn’t last long because in a split second, a very strong wind blew against his body along with a very loud boom coming from the western sky.
Kwaaak!
Ding!
