For the first time, Hiro walked around for more than 10 minutes in the breathtaking view of Asvesera City.
He just walked with Noah, who still needed to meet a few NPCs before the main quest to upgrade the Mystic Tome could be accomplished.
Hiro really couldn’t focus on Noah, because the surrounding scenery was too spectacular to pass by.
The city of the elve meant that those who had bloodline elve also lived there. Whether it was a player or an NPC, both were equally pleasing to the eye, as if they emitted an aura that could attract the attention of anyone who saw them.
“We should take Jacob,” muttered Hiro, while looking at the group of elve women who were standing nearby. They looked sheepishly while stealing glances at Hiro continuously.
“Do you like the view? I thought you were loyal to your unique girlfriend.” Noah had just finished talking to a male elve NPC who had a haughty face, but not a few female players surrounded him.
“We’ve broken up.”
“You what?” Noah really didn’t know about this one thing. He didn’t even know whether to be shocked or delighted by the new information.
“Ehem. I mean, what a shame. But you guys are really good.” He cleared his throat and repeated his reaction so that Hiro wouldn’t misunderstand.
However, Hiro was no longer by his side and moved towards the group of female elf players who had signalled him to approach her.
“NightFall, you look more handsome in person than on the broadcast screen.” A female elve with long, light green hair blushed as Hiro stood next to her.
“Thank you. I really appreciate it.”
“What are you doing here, Nightfall? Did you come alone? Do you want us to accompany you?” One of the short-haired elve suddenly wrapped her arms around Hiro’s. The girl was really aggressive, and Hiro let her do that. Instead of snapping his arm from her, he actually gave her a subtle smile.
“I came with a friend.” He said it in a calm tone, still trying to look cool in front of the dazzling elve girls.
But, before either of them said anything, suddenly Noah barged in and embraced Hiro, pulling him out of the crowd of elve players.
“No no no, don’t flirt with my friend. He is not available. You will end up heartbroken.” Noah’s old, haughty, and rude self reappeared, and he stared at the elve women with displeasure.
“You are so greedy. Just say you want to have him to yourself. Humph.” The short-haired elve girl looked away in annoyance.
However, Noah didn’t care.
“Let’s go, Nightfall. We are going to meet the queen of the elve.”
“The queen of elve?” Instantly, Hiro imagined the figure of a woman who was very visually perfect. Flawless. He swallowed hard.
“I know you’re going to think all kinds of things, but let’s go. She’s very busy.”
Finally, Hiro continued his journey with Noah that morning in order to get a translation of a set of armor that he really wanted now.
They walked towards a majestic and beautiful giant palace with dozens of mini waterfalls surrounding it.
The elve guards who were guarding around the palace used weapons in the form of staff and shields. Hiro already knew that some of them might be hybrid mages, using staff to create weapons like spears or swords that were used for melee attacks, or launching the spear or sword at the enemy.
For a player, that kind of power wasn’t that advantageous.
Just as the two of them were about to enter through a gate, suddenly the three guards stopped Hiro and Noah.
“Demon is forbidden to set foot in this holy place!” one of them snarled while aiming a spearhead that appeared at the end of his staff to Hiro.
“Well, I didn’t know there was such a ridiculous rule. But, he’s not the real one. He’s half human.” Noah was troubled by the unexpected obstacle.
“Let us pass if you don’t want to get hurt.” Hiro threatened them.
However, hearing Hiro’s threat, the three NPCs laughed and hinted that they weren’t afraid of the threat.
“Elve who befriend the demon run the risk of becoming dark elve one day. The dark elve is not allowed to be here,” said one of the guards, who used a mask to cover his face.
“The dark elve?” Hiro had only heard of that term. He looked at Noah questioningly, wishing he could get an explanation without asking.
?[0)??? “I guess it’s just a useless rumor among the NPCs. There’s no option to become a dark elve listed for players. I’ve studied it,” Noah explained it curtly.
Hiro didn’t know if he could trust Noah’s answer, just like that or not. He found it strange that the NPCs said something that had nothing to do with the player.
‘The dark elve.’
“All right, if you keep getting in my way. Looks like it’s time for me to get rid of you.”
[Fire Blast]
Blar! Blar! Blar!
The three guard NPCs were instantly devoured by the flames that shot out of Noah’s hands. And all three of them burned down.
“No cellphones, they are programmed that way.” Hiro mumbled before Noah felt he was great to have eliminated them in an instant.
“I don’t need your comments, NightFall.”
They continued walking into the palace.
Hiro used his cloak to cover his body. Not wanting to be a hindrance to Noah, who was in need of something in that place.
The access to meet an elve queen was very easy. They didn’t need to go through any sort of inspection, and the Elve queen was sitting majestically on her phoenix-shaped throne. Hiro suddenly remembered the phoenix ashes that were still stored in his inventory.
“Welcome, Noah, my son.”
The woman sitting gracefully on the throne. She straightened her back as Noah and Hiro arrived before her. The woman was very beautiful. Her hair was light blue, like the clear sky. It was long, dangling to her knees.
She stood up gracefully, and her feet were wearing nothing. Her skin was fair and glowing. There was an ornamental flower dress made of real flowers that perfected her appearance.
Hiro took a deep breath as the refreshing scent of flowers mixed with plants wafted his nostrils.
“You brought a friend.” The woman walked over to Noah and touched her forehead to Noah, who was already bowing his head. It was as if he had already known how to greet the queen.
The elve queen had no name written above her head bar. She then walked over to Hiro, who had been staring at her without blinking.
“May I?” she asked in a very soft voice, like a song of a lullaby. Her hand stretched out in front of Hiro.
Hiro looked at Noah, asking for help because he didn’t know what to do.
But, Noah just gave him a silent nod. Hiro had no other choice but to nod, following Noah’s instruction.
After gaining approval from Hiro, the woman smiled, very charming. She then landed her right palm on the back of Hiro’s neck gently, and before Hiro could take a breath, suddenly the elve woman pressed her lips to Hiro’s.
