Broken read the description of the gloves with an overwhelming sense of joy. This was the first time he would finally have a piece of equipment with Elite-grade quality. With this, he would have one part of a complete armor set. He still needed to find the rest to create a full set of armor, but he was quite satisfied with the result. He even gained a new skill attached to the gloves.

"Double Strikes," Broken muttered under his breath, feeling a thrill at the potential this skill held.

The Double Strikes skill allowed him to deal double damage with a 10% chance. Although the percentage seemed small, if he could combine it with a weapon that had a high hit rate and fast attack speed, it could be incredibly powerful. Using the knuckles he planned to craft later, the combination could be devastating.

"Congratulations, brat," Fokil said, clapping him on the shoulder. "That's a very good pair of gloves for a beginner like you. I think you can use those gloves to fight. And listen, don't go around embarrassing me by dressing like a beggar when you're my apprentice and all, okay?"

Broken grinned because he was still using very poor armor and basic clothing he had bought from a merchant. Despite this, he had managed to earn quite a bit in the past few weeks hunting in the forest. But of course, he still needed a better set of armor and a good weapon too!

Broken immediately put on the gloves and felt satisfied with the results. These were level 50 gloves, which would be sufficient for his hunting needs while he worked on crafting something of an even higher level.

Leon walked over and flopped onto the sofa next to her.

"How many days has it been since uncle came home?" he asked.

"Uhm... around two weeks? Right before you started focusing on your new profession in the game," she said, giggling.

Leon checked the date and began to remember that it hadn't even been two weeks since he got the Sloth Champion title, yet he had already spent over a month in the game. The time difference, which was three times faster in the game, really made one lose track of their real-life activities. Imagine being able to explore the game for two full days while not even one day had passed in the real world.

It wasn't surprising that those who could utilize the capsule device effectively would develop their thinking or wisdom faster, because, in reality, they lived longer inside the game.

As he daydreamed while watching TV, his phone vibrated. When he checked it, he found an email from the Golden Age Company, the developer of Immortal Legacy.

Leon frowned, reading the subject of the email. He quickly opened it and skimmed through the content, which was related to an Elite Player Support Program (EPSP) for potential players in Immortal Legacy.

He had heard about this before, that Divine Champions, in particular, received special support from the company, in cooperation with the governments of their respective countries. This program aimed to ensure they received adequate support due to their drastically changed status in Immortal Legacy.

Thinking about it again, even in just two weeks, he had grown so much. It made sense that the company had thought this through to ensure the safety and well-being of these players.

He nodded slowly, realizing the immense influence of Immortal Legacy. Many major corporations invested their money in it, making it a significant new medium for promoting their products within the game. That's why top players were becoming new celebrities, gaining recognition and even developing their own fanbases.

Top players in Immortal Legacy indeed had such significant privileges.

The email concluded that someone had been assigned to support Leon for some period of time. He nodded slowly, wondering if this would interfere with his fun playing the game. Did he really need this kind of program?

Leon pondered for a moment, unsure if this guidance would enhance or hinder his enjoyment of the game.

"Leon..." Lily whispered, snapping him out of his daydream.

"Yes?" he replied, looking puzzled as he turned to face her.

"You promised we'd eat out tonight, remember?" she said, giggling.

"Oh, right..." Leon said, suddenly remembering. "Let's go then." He quickly stood up. "What do you want to eat?"

"Nothing too special. I'm sure we can wait for uncle to have a special dinner. How about some snacks and fast food?" she suggested enthusiastically.

"Sure, let's go. Fast food is the quickest way to have some fun," he said, grinning.
