Atlas's Void Arrows pierced the Chaos Cave Wyvern's tough hide, eliciting a roar of pain. It rushed toward him as its rage overtook it. Seeing this, he uses Void Step to evade, leaving the injured monster confused.
'Better be quick!' he thought as his heart raced.
He reappeared behind the monster while casting Void Barrage at the corrupted boss. Atlas watched as the creature grew increasingly frustrated and lunged at him with a snap of its jaws, but he dodged the attack and retaliated by striking the wyvern's eye, causing it to roar in pain.
His shock attack made the beast thrash violently. In its frenzy, its tail suddenly lashed out and struck him. The force of the blow sent him crashing into the arena wall, and he crumpled to the floor with a resounding thud, his body throbbing with pain from the impact.
Atlas shook his head as his vision was blurry, and the pain was already too much for him, but he gritted his teeth while standing up. He felt his Regeneration skill kick in while starting to heal him.
It stitched the wounds together while mending bones; Atlas felt his muscles fix themselves, causing him to sigh in relief as the intense pain faded. He opened his eyes only to see the Chaos Wyvern lunging at him with its mouth wide open.
He darted to the side just as the monster slammed into the spot where he had been moments before. Gasping for breath, he thought, 'It's still coming! No wonder it's so incredibly strong.'
Atlas hobbled away while casting Void Barrage that slammed into the monster, causing it to reel back, giving him time to recover as he checked his health.

'Damn that hit was bad,' Atlas thought while pulling out a health potion and downing it so he felt better.
Atlas shook off the daze, his focus sharpening as the wyvern lunged again. With lightning reflexes, he sidestepped the monster's deadly claws, narrowly escaping the swipe as he felt the rush of wind against his face.
His blades flashed, carving through the beast's side and leaving a gaping wound. The wyvern roared in agony and swung its tail in a desperate counterattack to kill him as the attack enraged the monster.
The battle erupted as Atlas threw a Thunderclap Bomb at the monster, causing thunder to explode across the arena. When the lightning struck the creature, it roared in pain, but he couldn't get close as the tail tried to hit him.
Atlas hurled two Inferno Bombs, igniting a storm of flames that engulfed the wyvern. As the beast thrashed and roared in the inferno, Atlas seized the moment to close in. He channeled all his strength into a devastating strike against the wyvern's wing, tearing it apart.
Enraged and disoriented, the monster began snapping its jaws wildly at him. Atlas continued dodging while slashing and stabbing at the wyvern's battered body. As the battle continued, he reacted a second too late, as it caught him off guard and used its tail to strike.
He quickly cast Void Guard, the protective barrier shimmering into existence just in time to absorb the monstrous blow. Atlas braced himself against the impact, deflecting the tail's fury.
It slammed into the azure barrier with a resounding boom, creating the perfect opening for Atlas to cast Void Bomb. He quickly moved to put as much distance as possible between himself and the impending shockwave. Read new adventures at m_v-l'e|-NovelFire.net
As the spell struck the creature, it detonated in a powerful explosion, sending tremors through the arena. Atlas stabbed his swords into the ground and supported himself so he wouldn't get blown away.
Following that, Atlas glanced up as the dust settled and noticed the boss was struggling to get up while looking at him with rage in its eyes. He chuckled at its expression while he approached the dying monster.
Without wasting more time, he stabbed the Chaos-touched Cave Wyvern through the forehead, causing it to spasm before dying. He felt the experience pour into his body, making him feel like he was in heaven.
When it calmed down, Atlas dropped on his backside as the exhaustion overtook his body. As he caught his breath, a young woman's excited voice rang out in his mind, making him smile.
'Dungeon Conqueror! I didn't think you'd make it this when I sensed you on the first floor, especially with chaos lurking inside.'
'Well, I'm here now. Can you open the portal to the core? I need a safe place to rest.'
The arena trembled as a white doorway materialized a few feet away. Atlas quickly grabbed the boss's core, its radiant purple hue casting an ethereal glow across the area. His attention was then drawn to a pair of intriguing goggles and piles of twenty gold lying nearby alongside the Shattered Chasm Silver Boss Token.
Atlas examined the goggles, curious about their effects.

'These are amazing!' he internally celebrated.
Atlas saw nothing, causing him to shrug before stepping through the portal and appearing in the Dungeon Core saferoom. While standing there, he spotted something in the corner, thanks to the goggles.
He approached it and noticed it was a hidden compartment, which caused him to think, 'Is this some sort of treasure?'
While pondering that, the Dungeon Master's voice rang out in his mind, 'That is your prize for completing my challenges and vanquishing the Chaos beings from infecting the core.'
Atlas smiled before tapping the stone, which completely vanished and revealed a small wooden box. He gently picked it up and opened it, only to see a beautiful silver coin different from the ones he already knew sitting on top of a ring, which caught his attention.
'What are these things?' he pondered before scanning it with Void Sight.
[Platinum Coin]
[Worth one thousand gold coins]
[Dungeon Sovereign Ring]
[Rank: Epic]

'Getting this was worth the trouble,' Atlas mused, putting the ring on and feeling his mana boost.
With a tired smile, he turned to the Dungeon Core and slowly approached it. Atlas placed his hand on it and felt a connection growing until a screen popped up, giving him all the information he needed.

'More monsters!'
'Thank you for saving me, Dungeon Conquerer, and I look forward to working with you in the future,' the Dungeon Master said respectfully.
'Can I rest here for half an hour? I'm tired and would rather have some energy when returning to the city,' Atlas asked the dungeon, who agreed.
Following that, he rested for a while until feeling refreshed, and the Dungeon Master opened a portal to the entrance, which he stepped through. When he exited, the fresh air hit Atlas, causing him to smile.
Before leaving the dungeon, Atlas activated the Maskweaver, returned his disguise, and removed his goggles as he walked through the entrance, only to shock the surrounding soldiers.
When the Achaemenidian commander saw him, his eyes widened, and his jaw dropped as he spoke, ''Are you the boy who went into the dungeon a couple of days ago?''
Atlas nodded while showing the guards the boss's token, and he replied, ''Yes. I defeated the Cave Wyvern and was allowed out. I admit it was exciting and can't wait to complete the Silverpeak Swamp.''
The city guard looked at him like he was crazy, but the proof that he had completed the dungeon was evident. That's when the commander shook his head and informed him, ''A guild official came by yesterday and asked me to tell you to go to the Adventurers Guild if you were to come out.''
''Okay,'' Atlas replied, dismissing his armor before walking toward the guild.
While traveling through the city, he noticed more soldiers, and the people looked panicked, which confused him. Atlas made it to the city's square and saw dozens of tents everywhere, with injured guards and citizens moaning in pain.
'What happened here?' he thought before continuing to the guild.
As Atlas walked past crowds of people, he learned that a Freedom Fighter Group was attacking the city and its road. This caused him to think, 'Rebels! This should be fun. I'm sure they are fighting for a good cause, but it's nothing to do with me.'
After ten minutes, he arrived at the guild counter, where a man stood behind it going through paperwork as usual. Atlas took out his card and handed it to the receptionist while speaking, ''I was told to come here by the city guard.''
The man took his card before scanning it, only for his eyes to open wide; he shook his head while explaining, ''The five hundred gold coins have been credited to your Guild Account. If you wish to withdraw the funds, go to the nearest bank in any of the bigger cities in the empire.''
''Can you tell me how much is on my account, please?'' Atlas asked, to which the man nodded before checking something.
