Atlas slowly made his way down the tunnel while summoning more chaotic Voidstalkers to help out in the fight. The little dinosaurs excitedly chirped before hunting down more goblins until all the monsters hid in one chamber with their captives.
'Please don't be some pregnant villagers,' Atlas thought. 'I heard they kidnapped women and girls from remote villages to use as breeding vessels.'
The thought made him shiver in disgust, 'Goblins are a problem to the common people; kingdoms and empires only see the creatures as annoying.'
Soon enough, he arrived at the entrance, but only three of his void creatures survived due to all the fight, causing him to dismiss them with the goblin himself. After collecting thirty black Monster Cores, he readied his blades before casting several Void Bullets into the chamber, causing explosions everywhere.
The goblins were thrown into panicked confusion as he burst out and started cutting their numbers down with ease. Nightblade and Deepforge sliced through the monster's flesh like a hot knife through butter, causing the chamber floor to be stained with blood.
'This is getting easier,' he mused with a smile.
When Atlas killed all the creatures, he stood before their captives, who looked like a sorry bunch. Two young men and a few women lay battered and bruised; he studied them only to realize what the goblins were doing to them.
'Oh, they used the five as playthings. Maybe I should just kill them as they already look dead and might not want to live after that experience,' he pondered.
Atlas kicked one of the men and spoke in a blunt tone as it was the only way he knew how to communicate with traumatized people, ''Do you want to be helped or die?'' he asked.
One of the men nodded with tears in his eyes, ''Yes, please, adventurer. I cannot live with the shame of what happened to me,'' the young man stuttered while trembling.
Atlas studied the captives, noticing a flicker of determination in their eyes. 'They could find the strength to fight back and overcome their trauma,' he mused. ''You know you can get healed like the others? But if it's your choice to die, then I will aid you,'' Atlas answered before continuing. ''Or you can grow stronger, level up, and slaughter every goblin in the Achaemenid Empire.''
The two young men and the women looked at him, but that's when he noticed the captive's eyes grow as wide as saucers. Atlas quickly spun around and raised his swords to block the attack coming his way.
Sparks flew as claws connected with his weapons, sending a shockwave through his small body. Atlas strained to hold the creatures back, allowing him to scan his new enemy using Void Sight.

Atlas's muscles strained, but he directed a Void Wave at the Savage Goblin, which sent it flying and crashing into the chamber wall. He darted forward like a bullet while swinging at its neck with his Nightblade.
'This should be the end,' he smiled as the excitement built up.
The boss goblin jumped up and dodged, causing the Nightblade to hit the wall and sparks to fly. Atlas quickly used Void Step to try to attack the creatures from several directions, but it always managed to block his strikes.
'Damn smart goblin! What is this shit!'
Following this, Atlas activated Dungeon Conquerer and summoned the Death Gorilla Kara, who roared as she charged through the portal. The giant monster started wildly swinging its massive fists at the Savage Goblin.
'She is strong but it won't be enough.'
Atlas watched the creature dodge all of her attacks, but its attention was on the Death Gorilla; this allowed him to use Void Step to sneak up on it and blast it with a Void Bullet, causing an explosion to rip through its body.
The Savage Goblin howled in pain and swung its claws at Atlas, who ducked the swing as Kara tackled the creature and bit down on its shoulder until several cracks could be heard, but the enemy wasn't let it happen as it tore into the gorilla hide.
'Oh no you don't!'
When Atlas saw this, he rushed forward and ran his blade through the goblin's eyes, causing the Death Gorilla to stop fighting. As the creature stopped moving, something told him to continue fighting as it wasn't over.
More Savage Goblins appeared, causing his excitement to rise. Kara looked at him with concern in her red eyes, but Atlas thanked the monster. ''Thank you for your help, girl, but it's my turn to fight these,'' he said.
Following that, he dismissed the Death Gorilla and turned to the survivors to speak, ''Get out of here and head back to the city. Tell them that they have a goblin infection out here and to send the army to deal with them.''
One of the men tried to pick up a shabby sword, but the others dragged him away as the first Savage Goblin moved. The creature charged forward and swung its wicket claws at Atlas's head, but he quickly leaned back, and only the tips of the talons scrapped across the metal.
When this happened, Atlas counterattacked while hitting out with the Nightblade and sending a Void Blast through Deepforge, making the Savage Goblins scatter from the explosions.
This spilled the monsters up, allowing Atlas to quickly move in like a bullet while slicing through the legs of the creature, causing them to drop to the floor with a thud before he plunged the swords through their throats.
Atlas continued fighting the powerful Savage Goblins, which he put down using magic and his two blades. The creatures couldn't keep up with him thanks to his speed, and he was chasing after afterimages.
Once there were three left, Atlas cat Void Bomb at them before fleeing down one of the tunnels. The spell erupted and shook the ground, and the remaining monsters were easily finished.
Then, Atlas searched the Goblin Nest, cut off all the ears, and collected the Monster Cores. Once everything was stored away, he headed to Elysion Harbor Town, where a group of bandits raided the area.''
He traveled through the caves until he reached the entrance, where sunlight shone. Atlas exited and started traveling north through the hills, taking out a few more Goblin groups he encountered.
After hours of grueling travel, Atlas found himself only halfway to his destination. Frustration mounting, he summoned the King Blood Bat, hoping to speed up his journey. As the creature emerged from the swirling Azure portal, its piercing screech echoed.
Atlas had forgotten how massive the bat was—it loomed over him, its wingspan stretching far and wide, though still smaller than a full-grown wyvern. The beast's blood-red eyes glinted in the dim light as it awaited his command, ready to carry him the rest of the way.
'I forgot how intimidating the Sub-Bosses are,' Atlas mused while pushing the nerves away as if they were silly.
It glanced at him with its red eyes before nudging his body with its talon, ''Can you fly me to my quests, please? I have some bandits to deal with, and you can help me if you like,'' Atlas said with a smile before scanning it.

The Blood Bat King agreed with a screech as it lowered its body, allowing him to climb on its back, which Atlas did. When he got comfortable, the monster flapped its giant wings before taking off and flying north.
Atlas reveled in the breathtaking view from the bat's back, a sight that never failed to awe him. Below, miles of lush green hills rolled out in every direction, a vibrant patchwork of colorful flowers blanketing the landscape like a painter's masterpiece.
The winding roads of the Zarandar Continent stretched endlessly, dotted with travelers and caravans, "This place is unreal," Atlas mused with a quiet smile, his heart lightened by the view. "Earth could never compare to this."
They flew for a while, giving Atlas enough time to think, 'I will only use the flying monsters sparingly. I do want to see the road from below sometimes.'
The King Blood Bat alerted him to Elysion in the distance. Wooden walls circled the town, and guards walked on top of it. As they got closer, Atlas ordered the monster to land and hide in some trees while waiting for his whistle.
Atlas told it to come straight away, which the monster agreed to with a quiet chirp as it perched in the trees above. Following that, he left the treeline and approached the town gates, where a group of Achaemenidians stopped him.
He raised his hands with his Adventurers Card in the open as he spoke, ''I'm here to deal with the bandits guards. Do you know where I can find them?''
The town guards calmed down when they saw the black card before the commander informed them, ''We don't know where their camps are, but we know they have a few.''
Atlas nodded before heading back to the King Blood Bat and climbed onto its back to check if he had any monsters to help him.
