Atlas passed by two bridges leading east and west, with Achaemenidian soldiers guarding them. They spotted him but said nothing when he flashed his black Adventurers Card, which stopped them from looking at him.
Following that, he entered a quiet village with its people looking scared, which caused him to think, 'Why do they look frightened?'
While traveling through it, he heard a male voice echoing in his mind, 'Master, let me fly you across Zarander once you're in private.'
'Theo! That might be a good idea, but we'll have to be careful as the Achaemenidians are out in force,' he replied.
'Fly high Master. We'll be fine,' the Blood Bat King said.
Following that, Atlas headed out of the settlement. When he was far enough away from the village, he summoned Theo, who walked through the portal and nudged him with its head, causing him to stroke the monster's soft fur.
'I'm glad I got both of those classes; they will be useful once I'm strong enough.'
Atlas liked and treated his monsters nicely, so the Dungeon and Void creatures returned the favor. He climbed on Theo's back before taking off and soaring north toward Zunikha while searching for the rebel camp, only to find it ten minutes later.
But something was off, causing him not to attack when he noticed young children playing while families watched. 'What is this? They're clearly not bandits or rebels but people,' he pondered.
He ordered Theo to descend outside the camp before being dismissed because a monster like the Blood Bat King would scare him, which wouldn't help them discover what was happening.

'Hopefully they didn't see me.'
As Atlas approached the people. When getting close, he quickly noticed several guards rushing out of the palisade, ''Halt! What brings you here, young man?'' An older man questioned while holding a spear.
When Atlas heard the man, a smell hit his nose, making him recoil. It smelled of blood and decay. He shook his head and used Void Sight on the commander to determine his level and rank.
[Changelings]
[Rank C+ 550 Exp]
[Perfect ambush creatures! Make sure you watch your back]
As Atlas read the warning, he quickly cast Void Guard, which blocked a Changeling who tried to ambush him from behind. When this happened, he thrust his blade into the monster's skull before the others attacked.
He dodged all the attacks while deflecting the Changelings spear swipe before Atlas battered it aside and plunged his blade through the commander's heart as he cast Void Wave that sent the surrounding creatures flying backward.
''I hate Changelings,'' he muttered.
Atlas smiled when he saw this, darted forward, and started cutting down more of them using his speed before casting Void Bomb at another group that exploded with a fierce blast that wiped out many of the monsters.
Following this attack, he summoned the Dark Termite Queen, who let out a horrifying screech before decimating the remaining creatures alongside him. The monsters started trying to flee, but he chased after the survivors before slaying the fleeing creatures.
Once all the Changelings were dead, he turned to the Dark Termite Queen, who was looking at him. Atlas smiled before stroking the giant monster as he spoke, ''Thank you for the help, girl. I will call on you and your children when needed.''
The Termite Queen emitted an odd sound and nudged him gently. He gave the creature a reassuring stroke before sending it back to the Dungeon Realm. Afterward, he scoured the camp, discovering thirty glowing red cores, two hundred silver coins, a collection of goblin and orc ears, and a few health potions.
Afterward, Atlas summoned Theo before flying west to Hamaitan Town, where the orcs and goblins terrorized the area. It took the Blood Bat King to get in sight of the town, and that's when he spotted a horde of orcs and goblins.
'More experience to level up,' Atlas grinned as his excitement grew to new levels.
''Swoop down and help me fight them, Theo,'' he ordered. ''Make sure to stay away from the bigger orcs.''
The giant bat let out a chirp of agreement before folding its wings and descending toward the ground. As it approached, Atlas leaped off its back, drawing his swords and casting Void Barrage.
Atlas's spell illuminated the landscape and town walls as azure projectiles streaked through the air, slicing through everything in their path. When the guards above saw this, they intensified their attacks.
'The extra attacks will help thin the horde,' he thought, his adrenaline surging as the thrill of battle ignited every nerve in his body.
Following his initial assault, Atlas landed heavily, his impact reverberating through the ground. He began slicing through several goblins while casting Void Wave, which blasted outward and cleared space around him.
With the area momentarily free of obstacles, he continued his relentless assault, stabbing and slashing through the monsters' flesh and bone, causing dozens of them to collapse dead.
Atlas continued fighting the goblins until coming up against the wild orcs that were four times his size. Seeing this caused him to call Void Bullets at the feet of the monsters that exploded and threw them off balance.
Once doing that, Atlas burst forward so fast that the monsters couldn't see him. He struck at several wild orcs, causing their large frames to crash to the ground, and Theo swooped down and landed on another.
The giant bat bit down on a goblin before cutting more in half, causing them to flee, but the Dungeon Monster chased after them. Atlas laughed when seeing this and continued slaughtering the Monster Wave.
'I can feel the experience pouring into me like a waterfall,' he thought with a big smile.
After an hour of relentless attacks, the monsters finally withdrew, allowing Atlas to exhale in relief. Covered in blood and irritated, he removed his helmet and began the annoying task of cleaning himself. As he worked, Theo approached and gave him a friendly nudge.
Atlas smiled when seeing this before speaking, ''Thank you, Theo. I will send you back because the humans won't understand you.''
The Blood Bat King chirped before returning to the Dungeon Realm, and a group of guards appeared, holding their weapons at the ready. Atlas turned around after collecting loads of black Monster Cores and flashed them his Adventurers Card, ''I'm here for the monster attack quest, but it looks like it's been dealt with,'' he said calmly.
When the guards heard this, they were shocked, but an older woman approached as she exclaimed, ''I am Mariam, the commander of We are in your debt, young man; let us return your help with a warm bed and hot meal in the local inn? And if you don't mind me asking, are you a tamer?''
Atlas looked at the grey-haired woman and thought, 'They spotted Theo. This is the perfect opportunity to throw the Immortals and Nightowls off my trail.'
He nodded before speaking, ''Yes, but I'm in the middle of leveling it up after Father helped me, but thank you for the kindness.''
She waved him away with a smile, ''You're the hero of this town, boy. Without you, we would be overrun, and everyone knows what would have happened to all the females, so they are especially grateful.'' ''It was my job to help as I took the quest, but I will accept the bed and meal,'' Atlas replied while she led him through the town gate.
While doing that, Atlas checked his status to see how many times he leveled up during all the fighting that he had been doing.

'Ten levels and some of my skills leveled up,' Atlas excitedly thought. ''Forty more levels until I rank up again.'
Following that, the woman led him to a fancy-looking building and spoke with a smile, ''I will talk to the owners and inform them that you're the town's hero.''
''I'm not a hero; I was just doing my job and leveled up in the meantime,'' Atlas replied as they entered the inn.
Mariam waved him off and chitchatted with a large man behind the counter. As the commander spoke, Atlas took a moment to survey his surroundings. It quickly became apparent that the place was filled with wealthy customers, their lavish clothing revealing that they were strangers to the outside world.
Atlas could sense their underlying strength but couldn't help thinking, 'They're glass cannons. I wonder how they level up? They must be cheating somehow.'
Following that thought, he scanned a few of them to see their level and rank.

He chuckled at the extra details about the people, but his laughter grew when he saw a familiar name. 'Merlin is here? I wonder if he's a mad old man cackling away in a sinister tower.'
Atlas laughed harder; he remained blissfully unaware of how close he was to the truth—a revelation that would soon shock him. Meanwhile, Mariam finished her conversation with the large man behind the counter and called him over.
