The chaotic beings believed themselves to be superior to humans. Because their regeneration speed and strength were greater than people at the same level, they started to think like that. But their processing ability, inability to control their emotions, and irrationality said that they were in no way better than humans.
They referred to themselves as True Humans to differentiate themselves from people who hadn’t accepted Chaos. Such people were taken as their food. That’s why they defined humans as sub-humans. They were a source of replenishment for True humans.

The sealed entrance to the cage was unlocked and pushed opened by Jasper.
Seeing this, the mother and son pair crawled to a corner of the cage, shivering uncontrollably.
“Resistance is futile.” Kayden snickered at them and turned to his partner. “Go in and get them. Knock them out if they resist. They are undeserving of “our* mercy.”
“I was going to do that.” Jasper crouched to go inside the cage through the tiny entrance.
A distance was created between him and Kayden.
This was the moment Roy had been waiting for.
“Swoosh!” It sounded like a gale of wind had flown into the room. But if one were to see what it truly was, they would realize that it was just Roy charging into the room through the open door and shooting toward Kayden like an arrow.
As it was weird for the wind to be blowing in this tightly enclosed space, Kayden turned his head to the source of the noise.
Jasper didn’t think too much of it; his scorching eyes were glued to Tanya. “This Milf has such a sensual figure. I really want a taste of her. It’s regretful, but I can’t vent out in her.’
He only got to have a glimpse of Roy’s figure before a sword was put into his chest. It pierced his heart. The groan that was to escape his mouth was silenced by Roy. He did so by sealing his mouth with his hand. Although he had pierced his heart, he still failed to kill him. Roy already expected that. These bastards were like cockroaches, pretty hard to kill.
[Aura Propulsion!]
Black Aura, one that was excluded solely to Roy, jumped out of the tip of the sword piercing Kayden’s heart.
The Aura went into his heart. Instantly, it exploded.
『Ding! Congratulation. You killed Kayden. You get +160 EXP!』
This assassination took place so swiftly and silently that Jasper was still unaware of it.
?[0)??? He was approaching Tanya and her son when an unfamiliar voice entered his ears.
“No, that’s not going to happen.” Roy wasn’t gonna let him take Tanya and Michael to Ghostwalker!
Jasper felt chills creeping up his spine. To see who it was, He immediately whipped his body around. Reflected in his eyes was Kayden’s corpse being shot at him. It crashed on him but failed to make him fall. He pushed it away. It landed on the ground as Jasper looked around vigilantly. He didn’t find a single soul. Only the occasional sound of the door creaking back and forth could be heard.
‘Fuck! Is this place haunted? What killed Kayden?!’
“Who?” He said, and this time, his voice was shaky, full of fear!
“Why don’t you guess?”
Scarily enough, these words were whispered into his ears.
With his body shivering subconsciously and goosebumps appearing on his skin, he turned around to see who was behind him. And then… he saw two reddish eyes that could only belong to the Grim Reaper. Breath was sucked out of his mouth, and he found it impossible to breathe. Heck, he couldn’t even move his body.
『Ding! The effect of your title has activated. Jasper is inflicted with the Fear Debuff!』
‘What a powerful skill.’ Roy was amazed to see Jasper standing still like a status.
He recovered from his paralyzes after a moment.
The first thing he did then was utter in horror, “G-ghost!”
That became the last thing he did as Roy raised his sword and swung it horizontally, chopping off Jasper’s head.
『Ding! Congratulation. You killed Jasper. You get +160 EXP!』
Looking at his corpse, Roy narrowed his reddish eyes and coldly but also coolly muttered, “No, you’re wrong again. I am the one who stabbed you to death.”
Tanya and Michael were afraid of him too, but after he revealed his identity to them, they calmed down. Julian also entered the room after the enemies were taken down. Seeing the cute him, Tanya further verified that Roy was the real deal.
“You three stay here. If there’s still a servant of Chaos left, I believe you should be able to take care of them with these magic papers.” While speaking, Roy handed over his magic paper to Julian. “I’ll go to the second floor and deal with the rest. You’re being burdened with the responsibility of protecting them. I hope you don’t mind.” Roy patted Julian’s shoulder. The gaze he had directed at the boy was full of expectations. Julian revealed a determined look on his face. He would protect them from harm.
“Will you be fine by yourself?” Julian’s question was met with silence.
Roy climbed up the stairs in order to enter the second floor of the Grand Sanctuary.
He didn’t know that the main forces of Chaos were all gathered in one place, and he was going to soon meet them!
『Ding! You’ve stepped foot in a place where the fabric of reality is tightly reinforced by space magic. The Soul Spell Subspace has been deactivated as it is impossible for it to rip open a hole in this space at its current level.』
‘Thankfully, I’ve all the items on me.’ Roy wiped the sweat off his face with the back of his hand. ‘Or I will be hard pressed to fight the next battles.’
The runic items, Devil’s hand, Reflection, and Piercer, increased his STR by 11 points and his AGT by +5 points. His Strength was at 61, and his agility was at 55. Only his stamina was at 50, the limit of an unawakened.
