“Born to the incarnation of Far West, the only Queen of the Empire, and the Glorious Sun Emperor, the Youngest Prince of the Empire is the strongest unawakened Far West has ever seen.” Arlo praised.
The Emperor only had two women in his harem, the Empress and the Queen.
The first one he truly loved. The second one fell into his lap out of her own accord.
He didn’t deny her advances for a reason.
Mating with her gave him the strongest son.
But although he cherished both his wives and sons, he made his eldest son the crown prince, even though technically, his youngest had the strongest potential to become the strongest in the world.
No one knew why.
But some said the emperor was biased.
“What’s so special about him that he’s given such a title?” Roy queried.
Arlo laughed at his ignorance, “He was born with an innately open aura gate, and he was given all the resources he needed to grow beyond the recognized peak of the first stage. He’s currently at the 12th level, called the legendary level. And rumors are circulating that he is close to reaching the mythical 13th level. This is enough to cause waves. Yet, that’s the least interesting thing about him.”
“There’s more?” Roy’s brows jumped.
Arlo kept Roy in suspense for a moment before exploding a bomb on his head.
“Because of the Sun’s powerful bloodline coursing through his body, fortifying his bones, organs, and blood vessels since he was a newborn baby, he has the raw strength of a thousand horses. That’s a lot more powerful than a trainee at the peak of level 10 body tempering.”
“But what makes him truly special is his imperial authority,” Arlo added.
Roy’s eyes widened to the size of saucers.
Imperial Authorities were few in number, with only two known to man.
The Emperor had one.
And… the second one was with Far West.
There were no more than two of them.
So how could their son also have one?
Did a third one pop out?
If so, from where?
“He has that?!” Roy asked, feeling alarmed.
Arlo signalled to him to calm down and said, “Don’t be shocked by what I am going to tell you. The Queen took a portion of her power, distilled it into an all-powerful authority, and imbued it in the youngest prince. This resulted in him gaining the ability to control, gather, release, and condense aura enough to give it a tangible shape, just like a true Aura Master. He hasn’t awakened, but he can do better than Weapon Masters and clash head-on with an Aura Master. That’s why he is called the blessed one.”
“Blessed one, my ass! Isn’t he just a pay-to-win gamer that maxed out all his avatar’s equips using thousands of dollars?!” “How can a penniless me win against him?” Roy exclaimed.
“What are you mumbling?” Arlo raised his eyebrows at Roy.
Gamer wasn’t a word found in Far West!
“Oh… Oops.” Upon finding out that he had said his thoughts out loud, Roy internally sweated.
Arlo gazed at him, trying to see through him.
Roy looked away from his gaze and scratched the back of his head in nervousness.
“Nothing.”
Roy tried to sound as convincing as possible.
Arlo thought maybe he was the one hearing things.
“How do I overcome a monster like him?”
Unlike Roy, the youngest prince was granted the advantage of a thousand miles over others just because he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth.
At least not until he learned a way to harm Aura Master.
Above Trainees were Weapon Masters.
And above both of them were Aura Masters.
It was not easy for a trainee to defeat a person an entire stage above them, but it was not impossible.
A trainee could draw with a Weapon master if they had a soul shard or a runic item.
A trainee like Roy could pick up Weapon Masters like cabbages on a roadside stall and cut them like carrots.
However, against an Aura Master, a trainee, even as strong as he was, could only lower his head in defeat.
And the blessed one was equal to an Aura Master because of his many cheats.
Hence, it was self-explanatory that he wasn’t an opponent who Roy could harm, much less suppress.
“I’ll start off by teaching you a technique that will help your raw power reach the level of the blessed one.” Arlo warned, “That’s what you should call the youngest prince in public if you don’t want to be punished.”
Roy was once again reminded of the fact that he was talking to a loyalist. “I understand.”
Arlo continued, explaining, “The technique I will be teaching you is called Limit Breaker. It will help you destroy the chains of limitations limiting your potential. Some say that we’re cursed by the gods, and unless we gain their blessing and awaken, we will never be able to surpass a certain power level. But that’s just a gimmick used to fool and comfort the weak-hearted.
“The truth is, if you’re patient and hardworking enough, you’ll be able to escape the limitation on your raw power as an unawakened. The gains will be so ridiculous that they can be taken as miracles. But miracles are hard to create. It will be hard to learn and train in it.”
Roy was enticed.
The chains of limitation were what GhostWalker had tried to break.
Due to Roy’s intervention, he only broke one.
However, just breaking one pushed his basic stats to more than 69 points each and also increased his HP Bar.
What would happen if he had shattered two?
Most likely, Roy would be dead.
Because of how ridiculous it was, Roy wanted to learn this technique, experience its wonder, and break the chains limiting his potential.
Not to mention that this was his grip on the blessed one.He couldn’t drop it. He should even think of going over it.
Roy’s lips stretched back. He smiled like he was ready to hug some golden thighs.
“I want to become the strongest unawakened and topple the unrivaled! Uncle, take me in as your student!!”
Seeing him acting like that, Arlo internally chuckled, ‘Seeing how he is acting, he isn’t taking my warning seriously. He’s about to experience hell, yet he is shaking in happiness and excitement, thinking that this will be an easy cake to bite. His smile is going to fade away real soon.”
The Limit Breaker wasn’t an easy trick to master.
That’s why Noah and Arthur hadn’t been taught that.
Badulf stopped Arlo from teaching them the Limit Breaker for a reason.
Their bloodline was too impure, and they wouldn’t have survived the hellish pain a Baldwin had to experience to break their limits.
But Roy was a true one.
He was a true Baldwin because he possessed both magic and an aura gate.
His chances of surviving the training weren’t low, but they weren’t high either.
