“Before I tell you how to half-ass it, there are a few things you need to know.”
With these words, Damien attracted all of Roy’s attention to him.
“If an enormous amount of aura is pushed out from within the body without the help of blood vessels, chances are it will explode, or a person’s skin will crack like a mirror. Either way, it will be a grotesque sight. It’s hard for aura to leave the body through the pores. That’s why every weapon master and trainee utilize blood vessels to push aura out of their body. But only a limited amount of aura can be injected into them, or they will tangle up and, in the worst-case scenario, explode, killing the person. In contrast, you can instantaneously release all the aura inside your Aura Meridian without fear of exploding or harming your body. They are taken as a better storage of Aura than the inner world because of this property.”
“Having aura meridians is like having magical dams that you can instantly dismantle, allowing aura stored inside them to gush out, swallow, suppress, and destroy everything in its path like a deadly tsunami. That’s the most basic form of attacks made by aura Masters and monsters. We call it Aura or Mana suppression.”
Damien explained to Roy concepts that were so hard to understand that it would take aura Masters years or decades to understand in such a way that he understood them easily.
“I have experienced it before.”
Roy’s eyebrows raised. When he was fighting the horned beast, it attacked him with this skill, hoping to suppress him using mana suppression. But as it was just a level 1 beast and Roy’s stats were so high that its enormous amount of blue water mana couldn’t suppress him, it failed and was slayed by him.
“Oh, when?”
“When I was fighting a level 1 aura beast.”
“Did you defeat it?”
“Yes, I soloed it.”
“Good!”
The little between them ended before Damien explained the different types of Force using simple words.
“If you can control that amount of aura and put such pressure on it that it solidifies, force is created.
“If you solidify and shape it in such a way that it becomes sharp, Sword Force is created.”
“Similarly, if you solidify and condense it in such a way that it gathers in a giant-sized fist, Fist Force is created.”
Damien explained the principles of Force to Roy. If it were someone else doing the explaining, for example, Arlo, it would have been impossible to comprehend and picture it whilst listening. Arlo had taken him here for this purpose. He knew he wasn’t the best at teaching Force to noobs like Roy. Damien was the best in their clan. In his hands, it was possible for even a person with a peanut-sized brain to comprehend force.
Roy closed his eyes. He was digesting the deep knowledge Damien shared with him. It took him ten seconds to remember how to create four types of Forces. Three were explained by Damien, and the last one, he comprehended on his own after having a square off with the stone.
He opened his eyes some seconds later. They were shining with profound brilliance. He was enlightened.
“Listening to him explaining Force, I comprehend different ways to put my mana to use. Damn, he is like an immortal-level character that imparts profound knowledge to juniors in cultivation novels.” Roy felt impressed with Damien.
Back on Earth, except for training and preparing for hunter’s academy tests, he used to use the rest of his time doing part-time jobs. There he would sneakily read novels on his mobile if he had free time.
“Have you understood everything that was said?”
Damien questioned Roy.
Roy looked at him with a grateful smile, “Yes, thanks to you, I have.”
“Aura Masters, especially those with all the Aura Meridians opened, prefer storing their aura in them, not the inner world, due to the reasons I just mentioned. But I have a technique that will allow you to do the same without worrying about destroying yourself. Once you learn it, you will be able to release an enormous amount of aura from within your body instantly without exploding or self-harming yourself.”
Roy’s eyes widened, and his head spun. “Such a technique… it defies common sense!”
“Hmm, it does.”
Damien agreed with him.
It was a technique more ridiculous than the special trait of his class weapon.
“It’s the legacy technique of our clan. The water celestial gave it to me when I was a child.”
Damien told its origin to Roy.
“Water Celestial?” Roy stared at him.
“He is my mother’s father, your great uncle.”
“Ah… I see.”
Damien’s eyes narrowed. Roy’s reaction wasn’t up to his liking.
“He was disguised as the old man you met next to the road up the ashen mountain,” Damien revealed the true identity of the Water Celestial to Roy.
“Why would Great Uncle play such a prank on me?”
Roy’s lips parted, and his mouth widened to the size of an egg in shock.
“To test you.”
“Test? Test what?”
“Maybe your character.”
“Did I pass his test?”
“If you haven’t, we wouldn’t be having this talk.”
“What were the criteria for passing the test?”
“I don’t know.”
Damien eyed Roy’s amulet.
It looked similar to the amulet of an old friend of the Water Celestial.
Maybe the Water Celestial was reminded of his old friend when he saw it and gained good feelings for Roy.
Roy’s expression was weird.
Seeing the look on his face, Damien determined what he must be thinking m
“Are you wondering what our clan’s legacy technique was doing in his hand?” Damien asked Roy.
“Yes,” Roy answered him. “Respectfully speaking, Great Uncle isn’t a Baldwin. Why would it be with him?”
“He had been safeguarding it for pure-blooded Baldwins for generations,” Damien revealed.
‘He must be really old.’
Roy thought that the Water Celestial was between 150 to 300 years old.
Of course, he was far older than he estimated.

Author here:-
Now, like many others novel, I could have added it at the start of the novel to explain cultivation levels, but consider four chapters of info dumps without dialogue. Info that won’t come in handy until Chapter 220. And now you understand why I didn’t.
Lastly, the powers will float around Force until the end of book 1.
So what you have read in the past three chapters will remain relevant until 1000+ chapters!
Stay tuned!
