The gigantic white snake was blinded by the sight of blue bullets closing in on it at an alarming rate, and its eyes thinned to the size of needles, hateful thoughts filling its mind.
Vivid in its red glowing eyes was Fear, followed by hints of reluctance which were quickly taken over by… cruelty.
Its eyes brimmed with them as it commanded, “Wall of snakes!”
Immediately, a wall made of hundreds of snakes densely clustered together erupted from the sea beneath, appearing between it and the mana bullets.
Their red eyes, half overtaken by whiteness, seemed to say they were being controlled by the gigantic white snake.
The white-blooded snakes were a unique breed of monsters who each had the magical power to lunge in a direction at the speed of an arrow.
Furthermore, the strongest amongst them could mind-control weak-minded individuals or their own descendants and force them to do anything for them.
The gigantic white snake used this magical power to brainwash them into protecting itself.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
An uncountable number of mana bullets struck the wall of snakes with the force of a blast simultaneously, setting off a chain of explosions that exploded it to pieces and pierced and vaporized all that it made of.
The wall of snakes was destroyed.
However, the gigantic white snake survived.
The gigantic white snake immediately slithered away from Shadowless and Co.
It didn’t have the guts to face monsters like them anymore.
If it knew that they had the skills to back their arrogance, it wouldn’t have come anywhere close to them, much less scolding them.
Seeing its back getting further and further away, Shadowless felt his pride was wounded. How dare a mere beast think that it could get away from him? His expression hardened, turning deadlier than a divine dagger dipped in God-slaying poison for a thousand millennia, “Showing your back to your enemies, how cowardly can you get?!”
An air made up of a mixture of pride and arrogance burst out of Shadowless and fell down on the gigantic white snake, stabbing every inch of it as if telling it that it was going to go down soon.
The gigantic white snake shivered and, hoping to escape this predicament, tried to sink into the ocean of snakes that had decreased to 8-10th of its original size.
“Your attempts to save your life are futile!” Shadowless opened a 5-meter hole in the fabric of reality just above the gigantic white snake, and out of it, not one, not two, but thirty freaking gigantic fireballs instantly came out and dropped on its head.
Bomb! In an instant, a deafening sound rang out. The entire chamber reverberated, oscillating. The walls and ceiling trembled as if struck by an earthquake as the dozens of gigantic fireballs exploded its head and a majority of its body, causing a mess of flesh and blood to fly everywhere, and a few pieces coincidentally dropped just before Roy’s feet.
This made him raise his eyebrow at Shadowless.
Eyes by his creator, Shadowless smiled like a playful child who got caught being naughty and closed the subspace in the sky.
The level 1 to 18 white-blooded snakes’ eyes widened in dismay as the third strongest in their clan, a level 19, met an instant death at the hands of Shadowless.
“Retreat!” A voice came from within the sea of snakes.
No one knew who said it, but all the snakes ran away from Roy and Co like they were carriers of infectious diseases the second it rang out.
“Run out of mana, have you?” Roy questioned Shadowless.
“Yes, I have.” Shadowless nodded at him. “I need time. A minute will be enough. Once I recover a considerable amount of it, I will rejoin the fray.”
Shadowless said to Roy in a deep voice before he sat down cross-legged on the ground and used Ninam’s True Meditation Technique in order to restore his mana.
“Take your time.” Roy smiled at Shadowless before he moved past him, heading in the direction of the sea made of coiling and rolling snakes.
The righteous knight followed after him.
Roy suddenly raised his hand, an enormous amount of aura gushing out of his palm and wounding around every inch of the righteous knight’s armored body before condensing, solidifying into Arrow Force.
『The Righteous Knight has been enforced with Arrow Force.』
『Its defensive and offensive capabilities have increased by around a hundred times!』
Coated from head to toe in Arrow Force, not only did his armored body look as black as ink, but every inch of his body became a weapon that could cut down divine steel.
“Hunt them down!” Roy commanded the Righteous Knight.
Without saying a word, the righteous knight, following its wielder’s command, valiantly advanced towards the enemies; with each step, it left a deep footprint on the floor.
“Here, catch.” Roy hurled a runic sword towards him, and the righteous knight grabbed it before jumping straight into the enemy’s ranks.
He landed on several small white-blooded snakes, crushing them beneath the weight of his towering body.
He stomped to death a hundred more as he went deeper into the sea of snakes.
His armor coated in arrow force was like a sword.
Every snake that came in contact with it was chopped apart.
The poison they spat at him failed to harm him and slipped down his black armor.
Hundreds of them stopped retreating and either lunged or slithered towards him.
The Righteous Knight’s hands that held weapons moved, his fingers dancing like butterflies flapping their wings as he controlled the spear and the sword to cut them all in a single second!
Rays of sharp lights flashed in the air.
50 white-blooded snakes were beheaded!
70 were chopped apart!
“Fuck! He is too fucking cold and cool!” Roy praised him as he blasted to death a hundred snakes with a punch!
In the very next instant, a dozen snake waves advanced toward the righteous knight.
Whoosh! Swoosh!
Veered and steered by the righteous knight, the sword and the glaive chopped off and pierced into the heads of dozens of enemies in a second, respectively.
The Righteous knight made the glaive dance around him, using it to chop to death everything daring enough to lunge at him, and at the same time, unleased the sword’s deadliness on the snakes that slithered too close to him, stabbing their heads one after another with its sharp tip, yanking the souls out of them each time he pulled it out.
With every thrust of the sword, a life was taken!
With every swing of the spear, a dozen were beheaded!
With every ten steps forward, a hundred were helped to the afterlife!
Too unparalleled!
This righteous knight had no equals!
His skill awed even Roy!
