Chapter 243 End of the Second Last Trial!

Clang!

The garish, ostentatious sound of two swords clashing with each other echoed throughout the chamber as the sharp, gigantic, and divinely solid line of absolute sharpness, better known as Songless Night, chopped the incomparably powerful mountain in two halves.

The spectator’s eyes widened to the size of saucers; excitement and joy were vivid in them.

On the other hand, a sense of disbelief washed over Roy’s opponent.

“Just how…?!” Tevenlor felt the ground slipping from under his feet as he couldn’t believe that the skill he had perfected over hundreds of years was cut down so easily by a young man, not even 20 years old!

Both halves of it were equal to each other in terms of length and width.

Moving as swiftly as a fierce gale, Roy passed through them

Whoosh!

Then… he and his newest ultimate could be seen rushing towards Tevenlor.

Boom!

The two halves of the mountain crashed-landed dozens of meters behind them and exploded.

Big pits were created on the flat and smooth area of the floor.

On top of that, the impact of the strike created aura shockwaves that spread in all directions, including the egg.

“Fuck off!”

Yulran cursed, his voice low and threatening as he waved his little claws, and all the aura shockwaves coming their way were magically dispelled.

Some of the colorless shockwaves crashed on Roy’s back.

Smashed is the wrong way to put it.

He sensed them coming thanks to his sixth sense but intentionally allowed them to land a solid hit on his back, all so that he could propel himself towards Tevenlor at a ridiculous speed.

Tevenlor, on the other hand, stood straight, on alert, watching death approach him. He could tell that the physical manifestation of the Songless Night would annihilate him if he didn’t dodge it.

“I have to dodge it all cost, but this damn body won’t move. It’s like ghosts are holding on to my legs, making it impossible for me to move.”

Tevenlor screamed that he didn’t want to die as fiery tides of reddish aura no different than fire waves gushed out of his golden feet, setting him free from whatever was holding him.

By then, it was before him.

Tevenlor’s eyes widened as he veered his tall but narrow body to one side and then watched it going past him, missing him by just three inches.

Its left side was parallel to him, and there existed only two inches of distance between them.

It could be said that he dodged it by a hairsbreadth.

It flew forth, chopping the grand entrance of the Chamber and creating another way out of it.

Meanwhile, although Tevenlor had dodged it, he failed to dodge Roy’s fast and furious sucker punch coated in Arrow Force.

Clang!

It landed on his face with such strength that he stumbled backward.

Pa! Pa! Pa!

Before he could regain his balance, Roy slapped the poor spirit left and right with his swords, forcing their meaty, solid, and sharp thickness on his cheeks and bald head.

“If this continues, I would die of shame first,”

Tevenlor was slapped silly by an opponent who was two stages lower than him, and that worked to piss him off.

Opposite him, Roy raised his swords to land the finishing blow.

Just then, blue and red energies expanded from within Tevenlor, threatening to smash into Roy.

Roy’s eyebrows raised as he quickly let go of his swords, ending his attacks before they could gain any true momentum, and jumped backward by dozens of meters, dodging it.

It smashed his swords away. A crack in the space opened, swallowing them, then it closed. The same crack, but of a smaller size, opened in Roy’s left hand and then right hand. Once again, the swords were back where they belonged.

“Damn, that was a nice dodge! And you even recovered your weapons in a cool way. I must say I am impressed.” Yulran hollered, and it could be noticed that he was looking at Roy in a new light.

‘It’s no surprise Far West gave him the key to Night’s inheritance.” Yulran realized that his descendants had it when he saw Roy jumping out of his shadow. That was a power no unawakened could have if they didn’t have it. “He has the ability to control space, use Arrow Force, and mix the concept of Force with his sword skills and aura techniques at such a young age. He is bound to master four or maybe… even more types of Force and become a monster once he grows up!”

Tevenlor looked down at Roy. There was no arrogance left in his eyes. He only had a deep respect for Roy left in his heart. This guy was too young and too capable. Such a person… it was wrong to hate them.

“Brace yourself.” Tevenlor suddenly said to Roy, “I am going to go all out now. You’ll be facing my signature move. It has defeated 52 out of the 54 strong who came before you. They were helpless before it. I hope you won’t be among the defeated.”

“I won’t be.” Roy smiled at him, saying confidently, “I have overcome whatever you have hurled at me so far. And I will keep on overcoming whatever you will throw at me. The result will be the same no matter how you try to deal with me. I will always come out on top.”

Roy moved his fingers back and forth, telling him to bring it on.

“You are… very daring!”

Tevenlor thrust his hands forward, hurtling two invisible aura spheres, which were the size of a man’s palm and as deadly as bombs, towards Roy, and he did that again and again until the air between the two, man and spirit, was packed with them.

They couldn’t be seen by the naked eye. That’s why so many who came before Roy met defeat at his hands.

Roy couldn’t see them either.

The good news is, he could sense them.

They were like massive packages of energy fluctuations.

He could sense where they were, thanks to his sixth sense.

Moreover, using his intelligence, he determined their trajectory instantly.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The volleys of aura spheres blasted through the air, pouring down on Roy like a drizzle.

Yulran’s and Tevenlor’s eyes widened to the sizers and glowed more brightly them before, respectively, because of what they saw.

Instead of running away, Roy advanced towards them like an ultra fucking Giga chad, his arms crossed and an air of blinding, awe-inspiring coolness surrounding him as he hopped left and right, dodging each incoming invisible aura sphere by a hairsbreadth.

With the help of his sixth sense and a little above the average IQ level, he dodged every blast while shortening the distance between him and Tevenlor.

The aura sphere landed on the spots where he once was, exploding like a bomb, releasing shockwaves that only helped to speed him up and barely took three to four points from his massive health bar.

Dodging his signature move, Roy marched right up to him, entirely uninjured, and brought his swords towards him, stopping them close to his main life source. The lightning crackling around their surface was threatening to wipe it away. Tevenlor stiffened, becoming as still as a statue.

“It’s game over, no?” Roy asked, looking into the spirit’s eyes.

He towered over him, but at this moment, when their eyes met, Tevelnor felt as if he was like a grasshopper and Roy a chariot.

“Yes.” Tevenlor raised his hand helplessly and uttered, “I.. accept defeat.”
