Chapter 250 The way to Kill Voss (Part-1)
"A majority of his time is spent on bewitching the malignant dwellers of the Ashen Land to come his way. Those enticed by his words are really unlucky. They go to him, ignorant of the fact that they are walking to their deaths. When they step on the mountain where he is trapped, he imbues a wisp of his eternal soul inside them, corrupting and transforming them into his sons."
"These sons of his have horrendous appearances. They look no different than creatures you see in a nightmare, and their strength matches their look. His sons are mentally connected to him. They are like a part of Voss himself. His orders are like an absolute command to them. They do not fear death, and their regeneration speed is crazy. If commanded to hunt us down, they won't stop chasing us unless they are obliterated."
The Formless Siren explained to Roy how Voss created his million sons so far and what made them terrifying.
She then noticed that he was staring at her intensely.
His deep scorching gaze was glued to her.
She was the only thing reflected in his black irises.
'Why is he staring at me like that?! Gosh, he's making me heat up!'
She felt embarrassed, being stared at like that by her husband, and her face turned beet red. It was the type of face she considered her ugly side. She didn't want to show her ugliness to him. Thus, she looked away from him. She didn't know that Roy found her red face too sexy!
'Her voice is ridiculously good. Each word coming out of her little lips is sweet as if dipped in honey." Roy had to admit that this wife of his could please him just by speaking. "Honestly, the singers back on Earth can't sing as well as she speaks, even when using auto-tune." He would feel tired if he listened to one song too much, but he could hear her speak for three days continuously and still not feel tired. That's just how amazing this siren's voice was. 'Her voice is like a divine melody. My soul feels soothed just hearing it!'
Wondering if he heard everything she said, Yulran cleared his throat.
"Ahem!"
This snapped Roy out of his daze, and he guilty smiled, seeing that he had embarrassed her.
"So that's how he created them. This guy's soul must be really big to corrupt so many dwellers of the Ashen Land."
Suddenly, he stopped and looked at her questioningly.
"How do you know all that?"
"I-I..."
Under his eyes, the Formless Siren couldn't form a single word without stammering. She lowered her head in shame and anxiously gripped the hem of the White-shirt she was wearing so tightly that her long nails pierced into it. This was a topic she didn't want to talk about with him. That's what Roy understood from her actions.
Instead of her, it was Yulran who answered Roy.
"Every time Voss came here to molest her, he told her how great he was and that her destiny was to be bred by him endlessly, that she shouldn't even think of escaping from him as that is impossible. He was trying to break her mind before she was even born so she wouldn't resist him once she was born. If not for me and Tevenlor accompanying and giving her hope, she would have long ended her life."
It's as he said. The Formless Siren wanted to commit suicide inside her protective cover, the egg, many times, but she was given hope that one day her mate would arrive and take her out of this place against all odds. That's why she didn't and opted to wait for her Fated.
She naturally didn't want him to know she was a tainted woman, molested countless times by that bastard Voss.
Thus, she had kept quiet. But now, Yulran had exposed her embarrassing past to her husband. He now knew what she wanted to hide from him forever. Her heart raced faster than her.
"How will he react now that he knows I was harassed?"
She looked up and saw him staring at her with sympathy in his eyes.
"Sorry, I was late."
Roy didn't know why but he apologized to her.
He wasn't in the wrong here.
He didn't even know he had a mate waiting for him in another world.
Yet, he still felt like he had wronged her.
Maybe it was his draconian bloodline speaking!
She beamed at him, "You came for me. That's more than enough for me."
There were tears in her eyes.
Roy hugged her, patting her back, hoping to comfort her.
She hugged him back, resting her head on his strong, muscular chest and bursting into tears.
Years of sorrow had taken this moment to escape her heart.
In his embrace, she was safe.
She could act all frail like a mirror.
There was no need to not be herself in front of him as he was her Fated.
That's why she let him see her weak side.
That's why she showed him that she wasn't as strong as she looked.
'Voss, I will fucking kill you!'
Roy's eyes burned with conviction.
What the Formless Siren failed to notice was that behind that pity in his eyes was endless anger for Voss!
He wanted to kill him, slice and dice him to shreds.
But even Ninam failed to do that.
And he was by no means Ninam's equal.
Just how can Voss be killed?
Why was his soul eternal?!
"Is there a way to destroy it?
These questions bothered Roy.
Whilst comforting her and after placing a kiss on her head, Roy turned to Yulran. "Is his soul really eternal?"
Roy believed that he must definitely know how to kill an Evil God.
Yulran had talked about killing him before, after all!
He was a dragon. There was no need for him to say empty words. If he said he could kill him, he must really have a method to kill him!
Yulran replied to him, "No, it's just a concept created by foolish humans. There's this famous myth that goes like this, The God of Creation, he who created us all, the universe, and all the celestial bodies and beings found in it, said it himself, no one can be truly eternal. Everyone will face death once, except for the four he created to manage what's below him, that being our universe and where we go after Death. No one knows where he is, and they believe that it is just a myth. But every True Being like me can feel he and his four servants exist. That means this myth is real, and Voss or any being that proclaims themselves as eternal can be killed."
