Kurayami saw that his outfit was beyond saving and got a new outfit he had thought about switching over to a while ago. This one was a dark blue outfit and it had red symbols all throughout it. He looked at Artemis and she nodded. He went into the bath and changed into a new outfit. When he went out Artemis nodded in Approval.
(Looks like Vergil's Outfit.)
"It looks great on you. Let's go see my father and the rest of the gods." Kurayami and Artemis both went to the gods' counsel room where they saw someone neither of them expected to see. Azrael was making himself right at home while Hestia was offering him some food. Grover was sitting with him in fear.
Only people who knew Azrael well would know that he was not a blood thirsty murder.. He was quite relaxed and as long as you don't mess with him or his family he won't hurt you. Do that and your death is what he will reap.
Zeus looked bright red as Azrael came here on behalf of Grigori and he came for his favor. Poseidon when he saw Kurayami he smiled and gave him a thumbs up for the Black Keys. Apollo was all smiles and Artemis made a slit throat motion and he made a zipped motion.
Hera looked beautiful herself however she also ruined that beauty with that horrible scowl as she saw him. Hermes was how you would expect. Pissed beyond measure as his own son's fate was worse than he had seen. Kurayami was someone not bound by any prophecy and the fates were just going to have to accept that. Zeus saw Artemis was back and he nodded.
Next to Poseidon, there was a big water bubble where Bessie the sea cow was swimming happily. When he saw Kurayami he stuck his head out and gave a happy moo. All the gods were sitting on their thrones and were 15 feet tall. Artemis decided to stay standing next to Kurayami for now. Azrael smiles and Hestia put more food on his plate.
"Please, you look so thin. You need to eat more." Azrael smiled. "Thank you, Hestia." If there was one thing Azrael loved it was food. Hestia was the best cook he had ever known. Even better than Shuri or his wife. In Japan, Shuri was carrying Dante and suddenly had tick marks on her head. She looked towards Azrael and smiled. "Not cooking for that guy again."
Zeus raised his hand. "Daughter, you are safe. Give a report of what has happened." Artemis began to say how she was kidnaped, Atlas was freed, Luke was killed and his ship blown to bits. She said how Kurayami played a big role in the quest and the gods nodded.
"Well Kurayami, you have done us Olympians a great service. Your proposal to have an alliance is accepted and Azrael came on your behalf and he was making deals with us on how to proceed. However you need a reward. 'As much as I hate it.'" He mumbled the last bit and coughed. "Anything you desire?" Kurayami was going to ask for a pet, but Artemis gave him a look. He could read her eyes and he sighed.
"I would like to ask Artemis for her engagement to me." Zeus kept a neutral look, but he was yelling and cheering in his head. Kurayami was now a super fallen angel, a being beyond most gods and if they married he would not get his ass kicked.
"Daughter, is this something you are ok with?" Artemis nodded and she explained that even if they are engaged they will see where it goes. Zeus was praying to himself and hoped that they got together, but he kept a neutral look. Soon Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, Bianca and Zoe entered the throne room. Artemis sat on her throne and grew as big as the rest of the gods.
"We would have met at the winter solstice, but things have occurred that must be moved up. The council of gods happens now." Kurayami went and sat with Azrael and this was the first time the demigods had met Azrael in person and he and Kurayami together were quite an intimidating site. Something about them made them feel terror.
That was expected and Kurayami started to eat alongside Azrael. Azrael smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Look at that. You look sharp in that outfit. It's just like the one I used to wear." Azrael wore a black suit and he grinned. "You marrying a goddess boy. I bet I could do the same." Aphrodite smiled.
"Azrael, you can always have me." Azrael and Kurayami frowned and in tended they said the same thing.
"We don't date thots." Ares felt his rage rise, but he also did not want to die. Aphrodite sighed as she genuinely did not see an issue with what she did. Never stick your dick in thots. Look at Ares. Percy was shocked that they could just disrespect a god, but none of the other gods refused that. It was just true.
Percy looked and saw Grover sitting with Kurayami and Azrael and the poor satyr looked like he would keel over dead at any moment. He could be calm around Kurayami before, but now Kurayami was just much stronger and his entire aura was suffocating.
Twelve enormous thrones made a U around a central hearth, just like the placement of the cabins at camp. The ceiling above glittered with constellations. All of the seats were occupied. Each god and goddess was about fifteen feet tall. When the group saw 14 beings with extreme power look at them it was suffocating.
"Welcome, heroes," Artemis said.
"Mooo!" Bessie the water cow saw Percy and he was mooing happily. Grover wanted to go over, but he did not know how to get out of being around Kurayami and Azrael. Azrael patted him on the shoulder. "Go already." Grover bowed and ran to Percy's side.
"You made it!"
Then remembered he was turning his back on Zeus, and looked for permission.
"Go on," Zeus said. But he wasn't really paying attention to Grover. The lord of the sky was staring intently at Thalia. Grover trotted over. None of the gods spoke. Every clop of Grover's hooves echoed on the marble floor. Bessie splashed in his bubble of water. The hearth fire crackled. Kurayami and Azrael were just stuffing their faces while Hestia was all smiles.
Percy looked nervously at his father, Poseidon. He was dressed in beach shorts, a Hawaiian shirt, and sandals. He had a weathered, suntanned face with a dark beard and deep green eyes. The corners of his eyes crinkled with smile lines. He nodded as if to say It's okay to Percy.
Zoe and Bianca were hunters, so they both walked to the side leaving Percy along with Thalia. Annabeth left them to join with Kurayami and Azrael as she was a member of Grigori. She waved at Athena who nodded as she approved of her going.
Grover gave Annabeth and Thalia big hugs. Then he grasped Percy's arms. "Percy, Bessie and I made it! But you have to convince them! They can't do it!"
"Do what?" Percy asked. Kurayami looked at Zeus and at Percy. He would not allow them to kill him. He was too adorable to kill.
"Heroes," Artemis called.
Artemis slid down from her throne and turned to human size, a young auburn-haired girl, perfectly at ease in the midst of the giant Olympians. She walked toward them, her silver robes shimmering. There was no emotion in her face.
She seemed to walk in a column of moonlight. "They know that Mount Othrys is rising in the West. They know of Atlas' attempt for freedom, and the gathering armies of Kronos. We have voted to act. Thankfully the ship was blasted to pieces and the armies of Kronos have scattered."
There was some mumbling and shuffling among the gods, as if they weren't all happy with this plan, but nobody protested.
"At my Lord Zeus' command," Artemis said, "my brother Apollo and I shall hunt the most powerful monsters, seeking to strike them down before they can join the Titans' cause. Lady Athena shall personally check on the other Titans to make sure they do not escape their various prisons. And as for you, my heroes…"
She turned to face the other immortals. "These half-bloods have done Olympus a great service. Would anyone here deny that?" Kurayami and Azrael nodded as they agreed. She looked around at the assembled gods, meeting their faces individually.
Zeus in his dark pin-striped suit, his black beard neatly trimmed, and his eyes sparking with energy. Next to him sat Hera with her silver hair braided over one shoulder and a dress that shimmered colors like peacock feathers.
On Zeus' right, Poseidon. Next to him, a huge lump of a man with a leg in a steel brace, a misshapen head, and a wild brown beard, fire flickering through his whiskers. The Lord of the Forges, Hephaestus. He was not happy that his garbage was looted, but junk is junk.
Hermes had a heart broken scowl at his son's death and destruction. Apollo leaned back in his golden throne with his shades on. He had iPod headphones on, but he gave Percy a thumbs-up. Dionysus looked bored, twirling a grape vine between his fingers. And Ares, sat on his chrome-and-leather throne, glowering at Percy while he sharpened a knife.
On the ladies side of the throne room, a dark-haired goddess in green robes sat next to Hera on a throne woven of apple-tree branches. Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest. Next to her sat a beautiful gray-eyed woman in an elegant white dress. She could only be Annabeth's mother, Athena. Then there was Aphrodite, who smiled at Percy as he was easier to tease than two monsters.
All the Olympians here and two super fallen angels made the atmosphere suffocating.
"I gotta say"—Apollo broke the silence—"these kids did okay. " He cleared his throat and began to recite: "Heroes win laurels—"
"Um, yes, first class," Hermes interrupted, like he was anxious to avoid Apollo's poetry. "All in favor of not disintegrating them?" Azrael looked at Hermes who tried to keep a professional look. Heremes explained. "It's procedure."
A few tentative hands went up—Demeter, Aphrodite.
"Wait just a minute," Ares growled. He pointed at Thalia and Percy. "These two are dangerous. It'd be much safer, while we've got them here—"
"Ares," Poseidon interrupted, "they are worthy heroes. We will not blast my son to bits. "
"Nor my daughter," Zeus grumbled. "She has done well." Azrael looked at Ares and shook his head.
"Ares, what have we told you before to keep your mouth shut." Ares coughed and shivered. He already got his sword stolen, what more would Azrael rob this time.
Thalia blushed. She studied the floor as she just got a compliment from her dad. The goddess Athena cleared her throat and sat forward. "I am proud of my daughter as well. Her time in Grigori has done well, But there is a security risk here with the other two."
"Mother!" Annabeth said. "How can you—" Azrael snapped his fingers and she quieted down.
"Annabeth, when in a meeting of this level do not interrupt as some beings are less tolerant of disrespect. Athena nodded as she fully agreed. This may not be the only group they ally with for the sake of peace and for their future.
"It is unfortunate that my father, Zeus, and my uncle, Poseidon, chose to break their oath not to have more children. Only Hades kept his word, a fact that I find ironic. As we know from the Great Prophecy, children of the three elder gods… such as Thalia and Percy… are dangerous. As thick headed as he is, Ares has a point. "
"Right!" Ares said. "Hey, wait a minute. Who you callin—" He started to get up, but a 50 black spears of light formed around him. Also a grape vine grew around his waist like a seat belt and pulled him back down.
"Oh, please, Ares," Dionysus sighed. "Save the fighting for later. You want to piss of Azrael."
Are gulped and shook his head. "No, I am calm. However do you want to protect the brats." Azrael snapped his fingers and the spears of light were removed. Ares was quite the fool and was hot blooded.
Dionysus gazed down at them wearily. "I have no love for them. Athena, do you truly think it safest to destroy them?"
"I do not pass judgment," Athena said. "I only point out the risk. What we do, the Council must decide."
"I will not have them punished," Artemis said. "I will have them rewarded. If we destroy heroes who do us a great favor, then we are no better than the Titans. If this is Olympian justice, I will have none of it. Plus it is a happy day."
"Calm down, sis," Apollo said. "Jeez, you need to lighten up. Just because you got engaged does not mean you can be all bossy."
Artemis froze and glared at Apollo who was whistling a happy toon. Percy, Annabeth, Zoe, Bianca, Thalia and Grover all gawked as they did not expect that. Zoe was especially shocked and looked at Artemis.
"My lady, to who?"
Artemis covered her face as she was going to keep it secret for a time. She pointed at Kurayami who waved and Zoe wanted nothing more than to kill him, but Artemis made her choice.
"Don't call me sis! Also, that was supposed to be a secret, but I will reward them."
"Well," Zeus grumbled. "Perhaps. But the monster at least must be destroyed. We have an agreement on that?" A lot of nodding heads while Kurayami looked at Bessie and frowned. Azrael also did not want it killed as it was too innocent.
Percy blinked a few times and noticed they meant Bessie. "Bessie? You want to destroy Bessie?"
"Mooooooo!" Bessie protested.
Poseidon frowned. "You have named the Ophiotaurus Bessie?"
"Dad he's just a sea creature. A really nice sea creature. You can't destroy him. "
Poseidon shifted uncomfortably. "Percy, the monster's power is considerable. If the Titans were to steal it, or—"
"You can't," Percy insisted. He looked at Zeus. and probably should have been afraid of him, but he stared him right in the eye.
"Controlling the prophecies never works. Isn't that true? Besides, Bess—the Ophiotaurus is innocent. Killing something like that is wrong. It's just as wrong as… as Kronos eating his children, just because of something they might do. It's wrong!"
Kurayami looked at Bessie and tapped on the table. "Why not just keep him here on Olympus. Just have Hephaestus and Azazel make a tank here to guard it here. Plus once our alliance is completed you will have new chances and better security. Plus I and Azrael will be comin here a lot." He smiled at Artemis who looked away.
Zeus seemed to consider that he knew the great works Hephaestus could make and having two super fallen angels around would make it even more impossible to get the creature. Plus Kurayami could have said he would take it and he would have refused. Meaning that Kurayami saw his point of view.
Zeus looked to the gods. "All in favor." Most of the gods raised their hands as it will be better to keep it alive. Then he turned to Thalia and sighed as it was time to talk about the prophecy. "You, my daughter, will turn sixteen on the morrow, just as the prophecy says."
"You have to trust them," Annabeth spoke up. "Sir, you have to trust them. "
Zeus scowled. "Trust a hero?" Azrael looked at Annabeth and did not stop her. Shin was laying down on the floor and looked at the god that spoke.
"Annabeth is right," Artemis said. "Which is why I must first make a reward. My faithful companion, Zoe Nightshade, had become a fallen angel to save her life. She fought her own father for me and I say she deserves a reward. Anything you wish?"
Zoe thought about it and shook her head. "No, my lady. I just want to stay with you on the hunt although I would like to know why you are engaged." Artemis froze and Kurayami broke out laughing. Artemis sighed and explained the full story to Zoe who did not deny that. Nothing can stay the same forever.
"Now I need to speak to my father in private." Zeus beckoned Artemis forward. He leaned down and listened as she spoke in his ear and then Artemis turned.
"I shall have a second lieutenant," she announced. "If she will accept it. Thalia, Daughter of Zeus. Will you join the Hunt?" Azrael leaned over and whispered in Kurayami's ear.
"Even if you got the goddess, are you sure you're going to give up that girl?" Kurayami shrugged. "We will see old man. You should find someone new." Azrael patted him on the shoulder.
"Maybe I should. It is about time I found someone new." Kurayami looked over.
"You? You look like shit." Azrael kept smiling and shook his head as he knew full well he was not that old. He looked younger than Baraqiel. Stunned silence filled the room. Percy, Annabeth, Bianca and Zoe all looked at Thalia looking for her choice.
"I will," Thalia said firmly. Zeus rose, his eyes full of concern. "My daughter, consider well—"
"Father," she said. "I will not turn sixteen tomorrow. I will never turn sixteen. I won't let this prophecy be mine. I stand with my sister Artemis. Kronos will never tempt me again."
She knelt before the goddess and began the words from Bianca's oath.. "I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men…" Kurayamai nodded and he looked at Thalia's choice.
Afterward, Thalia did something that surprised everyone. She came over to Kurayami, smiled, and in front of the whole assembly, she gave him a big hug. Kurayami hugged her back and patted her on the back.
Kurayami made a joke. "Are you trying to steal your lady's fiancé? If you are, I am flattered." She frowned and punched him on the shoulder.
"Oh shut it. In honoring a friend, I must join the Hunt. I haven't known peace since… since Half-Blood Hill. I finally feel like I have a home. But you are beyond our power now." She turned to Percy and looked at him.
"You are a hero Percy. The next one of the great prophecies.'
"Great," He muttered. That was never a good thing. She hugged Annabeth. Then she even hugged Grover, who looked ready to pass out, like somebody had just given him an all-you-can-eat enchilada coupon.
Then Thalia went to stand by Artemis' side.
"Now for the Ophiotaurus," Artemis said.
Poseidon spoke up. We will build an aquarium for the creature here. Hephaestus and Azazel can help me. The creature will be safe. We shall protect it with all our powers. The boy will not betray us. I vouch for this on my honor. "
Zeus thought about this. "All in favor?" Kurayami and Azrael, while not part of the council, were so strong that their input was accepted. A lot of hands went up. Dionysus abstained. So did Ares and Athena. But everybody else did.
"We have a majority," Zeus decreed. "And so, since we will not be destroying these heroes… I imagine we should honor them. Let the triumph celebration begin!"
There are parties, and then there are huge, major, blowout parties. And then there are Olympian parties.
