(I EDITED THE LAST CHAPTER AS I DID NOT KNOW THAT THE C.I.A HAD A LONGINUS USER OR KNEW WHAT SACRED GEARS WERE.)
Kurayami, Raynare, and Shin all appeared at the base of the Empire State Building and they entered the building. People all looked at Shin who looked like a bear and they were quite shocked, but quick magic by Kurayami calmed them all down.
He approached the guard who looked at the three of them and pointed at the elevator. He did not even need to be told who they were as he still remembered when Kurayami and Raynare, Esdeath, and Azrael came here for the first time.
He was just a guard and he had to deal with the Angel of Death who could kill nearly all the Olympian Gods as easy as breathing. The three of them all entered the elevator and he clicked on the 600th floor and the elevator began to rise.
Raynare had not been to Olympus since she was just 12 and she had to say that day is still in her mind as she met her grandpa for the first time. She used to be afraid of him as she heard the stories of him, but he was her last family member..
"Hey Kurayami, remember when we first met my grandfather?"
That made him nod. "Can't forget that day. All it took was a smile and Ares gave up his symbol of power in terror. It still is a memory that makes me laugh as Ares would normally fight to the death, but Azrael is just a monster that strikes terror in the gods."
Raynare thought about it. "You think I will live up to his name? Sometimes I feel that the control I have over his power is nowhere near as good as his."
Kurayami nodded. "I have no doubt you will however you need time. You got to remember he is one of the oldest Angels made by God and that means he has had that entire time to master his power. Not to mention his training he spent in Tartarus."
They did not say a thing about God's death as even they were not that stupid. Finally, they got to the top floor and they stepped out to Olympus. It was still quite a sight to see as most of the places of decorated with gold.
Raynare sighed. "Too much shine. How would you have decorated Kurayami?"
"With Stygian Iron, it looks much prettier to me than gold."
Raynare had a blank look on her face as that stuff was what made great weapons, but he wanted to use it to decorate. Well, it did suit his tastes as he was still wearing the cross that Azazel gave him. She also still wore the dog tags that he gave her when they were kids.
They entered the throne room where Zeus and Hera were sitting next to each other. Most of the gods were not in the throne room as they only met up at the summer and winter solstice and they usually had whims. Apollon was at Olympus, but he deiced to wait for Zeus and Hera to finish talking to Kurayami.
When Zeus saw him he was not really happy as Kurayami was just like Azrael who loved to mess with him. Hera herself was very beautiful like always and had a smile full of lies.
She was in no way a good person and she was the one who had thrown off Hephestus from Mount Olympus from the way he looked. Zeus looked at Raynare who just from her aura he felt she was about as strong as him and that was without her using her death magic and sacred gear.
"Kurayami, it is less than pleasant to see you again, but I need to do this. As you and my daughter are getting married I would like for the wedding to be here in Olympus like in old Greek Customs."
Kurayami didn't see many issues with it as he didn't care how they married as long as they did.
"That is fine with me. She did say she was going to come here to check up on her hunters. Anyway, how is the war with Kronos?"
Zeus had a thoughtful look on his face.
"Well after you killed the traitorous Luke the titans have gone quiet. However it seemed that Luke has been replaced rather easily, but you did take Backbiter. What did you do with it anyway?"
Kurayami brought out Rebellion who was still asleep. "I fed it to my sword."
Zeus had a pondering look on his face as he looked at Rebellion. He had seen it before when Kurayami was fighting Ladon, but now that it was close he could tell it was a deadly weapon.
He also worried how it would change from consuming the symbol of the power of Kronos, but he still had to respect Kurayami's might As much as he hated it, Kurayami and Azrael were two beings he did not want to antagonize or he would be dead.
"Well, it does not matter. Anyway, do you have anything to say, my wife?"
Hera gazed at Zeus and back to Kurayami. "Do as you please. It's not like Artemis is my daughter like the countless ones you sire behind my back."
Zeus frowned as even if he had sworn on the river Styx to not have more children he still managed to do just that. However, he could not do it forever as the more times he broke his oath the worse the repercussions would get.
He still lamented that as he could no longer have children freely with mortals because of that very pact.
"Well, that is all I wanted to say to you. You can go home if you want or stay here for a time, or even go to Camp Half-Blood. Also, because of you, San Francisco is going through a crisis as they are still rebuilding after your little stunt."
Kurayami coughed. "Sorry about it. Was it important?"
Zeus shook his head. "Not really. It's just affecting the mortals, not us. That will be all I wanted to say."
Hera waved goodbye. "Yes, when it is time for your marriage just tell your family to come. It is the marriage of a god after all. While I am not on the best of terms with the girl for the fault of my unfaithful husband, I can at least bless your marriage. May you two have a long happy married life, unlike mine."
Her smile actually for a split second took a sad look and she went back to smiling not long after. Kurayami noticed it and it looked like she had endured many years as the goddess of marriage, but her own marriage was more of a sham.
Raynare as a woman also felt it was unfortunate for Hera to have such a bad married life. Having multiple wives was very different from cheating as with polygamy all the members were aware before the relationship was started.
What Zeus did was pure infidelity which was far worse. Zeus looked ready to snap at her for being shamed, but Kurayami nodded as he agreed.
"I thank you Lady Hera, it is a shame Zeus is such a terrible husband. How have you dealt with him for so long?"
Zeus glared at Kurayami, but Hera was happy someone said it out loud.
"Tell me about it. Unlike you, he just cheats on me. From what I can see you and your girls all will have long happy marriages, and I give you my best regards as the goddess of marriage."
Zeus looked pissed as he glared at Kurayami.
"Why do you call her Lady and not call me sir? I am your father-in-law after all and you should not be judging me."
Kurayami frowned. "Well if you were a better husband and father I would not have to, but you are neither. Look what you did to Thalia's mother, not to mention all the demigods you sired and most of them died terrible deaths.
Hera looked at Zeus and saw him glaring at Kurayami and she knew it was all true. She sighed and was no better, but for now, Kurayami would not say a thing. He looked at Zeus and he sighed.
"Well I have not been to hold my tongue, but just keep that in mind Zeus. Not everything will last forever as the gods are not truly immortal."
Zeus thought about it Kurayamis words and it was true. The gods could reform, but if they were totally destroyed by the right individual or weapon there would not even be a chance for them to come back. The amount of them was not small either with all the Loginous and stronger gods.
Raynare grabbed Kurayami's hand and looked a Zeus oddly. She really felt that the great king of gods seemed less like a great king and more like a horny teenager. If they had not made peace she would have been the one to go for Zeus' neck herself.
"Kurayami let's go. Let's just go say goodbye to Apollon and go to Camp Half-Blood."
Kurayami nodded. "Well, father-in-law. Let's try to stop antagonizing each other, shall we? This shall be the last time we talk about your marriage as it seems to be a touchy subject. Do we agree?"
Zeus nodded. "I was going to suggest the same thing. If this happens again you can consider your marriage as good as void"
In the next second Zeus has wished he had never said that as terrible pressure and heat assaulted the entire hall and Olympus itself. That heat was coming right from Kurayami as he had masted Incinerate Anthem and copied Esdeath's Mahapdama to freeze the particles in the air.
Instead, he burned them, and by doing that he could speed up time and at the same time he could attack his enemies by doing the same thing. Hera was sweating bullets from the Heat and the gold that made the hall melted like it was chocolate in a hot oven.
Zeus felt fear once again, a feeling he had not felt in a long time. He did not fear Kurayami before as he had only seen him when he was calm. Now, he was seeing the real Kurayami that very few saw.
A savage beast that he kept locked up, but Zeus just pissed him off like hitting a sleeping beat with a cattle prod.
Raynare face palmed as who would be happy if you told them that you could not marry because he said so. Zeus must want to die and she would be more than happy to watch, but would Artemis care is the question?
Kurayami calmed down and he saw Zeus shaking in both anger in fear.
"Zeus, very few things can make me lose my cool. My girls are one of them and I suggest you don't bring this up, as death is not the only thing that I will give you if you try a stunt like this again. This is your first and only warning."
Kurayami's glasses melted and Zeus saw the Infinite signed in Kurayami's eyes. He was shocked as it meant he knew Ophis and she had given him power. Just on his own, he was already strong, but Ophis was the strongest being in this world if you did not count Great Red.
Zeus swallowed his pride and nodded. "I swear on the river Styx to never bring this up again to either you or Artemis."
The sky rumbled with lightning as the pact was done and that was the second pact he had made. The more you made the more serious the side effects got if you broke them and it also tied a noose around his neck.
Kurayami was still holding Raynare's hand and he sighed and left the throne room. Apollon was waiting outside and when he saw Kurayami he needed to know.
"What made you mad?"
"Zeus threatened to null my marriage with Artemis to get his way. I set him straight."
Apollon sighed. "Well ignore him. He can't really do anything to her as he swore on the river Styx to let her marry who she wants. Did you force him to sign a river Styx pact or what?"
Raynare nodded. "In pure terror, Zeus made a pact to not talk about nulling the marriage to Artemis. How do you deal with such a prideful father?"
"Not good. He may be my father, but it does not mean he is a good one. Just look what happened to my poor mother."
Kurayami looked at him oddly. "What happened?"
Apollon shook his head. "No, not now. It would be better if sis told you herself instead of me. I just ask that you give her a happy marriage, unlike my mother."
Kurayami nodded. "I would do nothing less. Well, I am going home. Look out for yourself Apollon."
He looked at Raynare and he checked on her future out of curiosity and what he saw made him smile.
"I got some good news or you Raynare."
She did not expect that and was interested. "Care to tell me or just let me guessing."
Apollon smiled. "I will do choose them later, but I can say it involves your grandfather."
She was going to ask what he meant, but he shook his head.
"You will just have to guess. Bye."
He left Olympus in another ray of sunlight to not let the surprise out and she sighed as he left her guessing what the news was.
"Gods and their jokes. Why even tell me there was news if he would not tell me what it is?"
"Must just be the way gods have fun. Seems something good will happen to Azrael. Let's just go home now that our business is done."
She shook her head. "Not yet. I still have not gotten my date from when you went on your solo adventure."
He smiled and nodded. "Fine. Anywhere you want to go?"
She thought about it and she realized she did not really have an ideal place she wanted to go. She found out that choosing a place was actually harder than she thought as they could go anywhere.
She finally thought of a place. "I might as well just go to London. After that, we can just keep going to different cities as we can go pretty much anywhere."
He nodded. "Your choice my lady."
She smiled and she was the one to teleport them this time. Under their feet opened up a magic circle that was a mix of a dragon coiling around a scythe. They vanished and appeared on the roof of a building in London.
She totally forgot that the C.I.A agents were here as she was too excited for her long-awaited date.
