I Beg You (1)
Yu Qingshi was stunned. He touched his upper lip with his hand, feeling the bright red liquid. The blood trickled down on his fair skin like blood vessels, looking a little bit shocking.
It smelled a little bit fishy,
and felt a little bit hot.
Jiang Xiaoman: “!!!”
What happened!?
“Is there something wrong with you? How could this happen? Think about it, Xiaoman, think! What do I have to do when there’s a nosebleed?” Jiang Xiaoman was as anxious as ants on a frying pan. First, she tied a rope around Yu Qingshi’s index finger, and then she made him tilt his head back to prevent the blood from dripping.
System: “!!! Host! This will cause the blood to flow backwards and may cause suffocation!!!”
“But this is what Grandma did for my nosebleeds!”
“These folk remedies are harmful! Let’s be more scientific!”
Jiang Xiaoman had no choice but to stuff Yu Qingshi’s nose with some tissues and quickly send him to the school infirmary.
After the nosebleed was stopped, Jiang Xiaoman helped him walk back.
There were two cotton swabs stuffed in Yu Qingshi’s nostrils. Like a good child, he didn’t resist and sat there obediently, looking a little dazed.
Jiang Xiaoman glanced at him. Maybe she was just imagining it, but from the side it felt like his cheeks were bulging a little.
Bulging into a pout.
But his expression was very cold, and she couldn’t understand what he was thinking for a while.
Jiang Xiaoman’s hands suddenly pinched his cheeks mischievously.
This sudden movement made Yu Qingshi stare at her.
Originally, he thought that he would let her off for this just once. Even though she had pinched his cheeks, an adult wouldn’t take a child’s mischief into heart. But Jiang Xiaoman didn’t understand what holding back was. She felt that Yu Qingshi was very cute and it felt good pinching his cheeks, so her hands continued their mischief.
Pinch pinch pinch.
“Let go!” Yu Qingshi was annoyed, his face turning slightly red.
But...
Yu Qingshi couldn’t help but let his mind wander around.
He remembered how Jiang Xiaoman had been very guarded against him for a while. Couldn’t touch her hair, couldn’t touch her face, she even told him that he couldn’t touch her at all when they grew up.
Back then, Yu Qingshi was depressed for a long time.
Now he finally felt the same way.
What’s more annoying was that what Jiang Xiaoman did was different from what she said. Her hands were still very mischievous, and she was allowed to touch him, but he was not allowed to touch her.
Yu Qingshi carefully thought about it and felt, “Wasn’t this like how corrupt officials made rules for you, but not for me?”
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became.
But Yu Qingshi would not show it.
He was a very introverted person and he was very good at holding back. It was very difficult for others to make out anything from his face.
Yu Qingshi remained silent the whole time. He had done his mental calculations and decided to forgive Jiang Xiaoman, thinking that the source of the problem was himself.
Until... Jiang Xiumei brought Jiang Xing’s tonic soup. Yu Qingshi finally noticed something was wrong.
This bowl of soup, the more he looked at it, the more familiar it became, and the more it looked like the tonic soup that he had been drinking for a long time lately!
He could tell just by looking at the color and smelling the aroma.
Yu Qingshi calmly looked at Jiang Xiaoman, then raised his eyes and asked Jiang Xiumei, “Grandma, is this soup for Uncle Jiang? Can I drink it?”
“Yes, this is for Jiang Xing. Here is your share.” Jiang Xiumei smiled and said, “You can’t drink this soup. If a kid drinks too much of it, they would get nosebleeds and accumulate strong inner heat. You can drink it when you are older.”
Yu Qingshi smiled, “Okay, I see.”
Jiang Xiaoman buried her head lower and lower, not daring to look at Yu Qingshi’s reaction.
This was terrible, terrible.
Yu Qingshi looked terrible in her eyes.
Jiang Xiaoman looked like a tortoise with its head shrunken in the whole night, not daring to lift her head until the storm passed.
Fortunately, Yu Qingshi had a good temper. He didn’t even ask a word or say anything. After eating, he left silently.
