'Avatar Totem?' Raven raised a brow when he saw the name of the Relic and his pupils shrunk to the size of a needle when he reached the end of the description.

A Relic that can save the lives of those who wore it? That was equivalent to a second life! A cheat-like ability!

'And there are 8 from them? Just from where did the chairman of the Realm Association get his hands on so many rare Relics?' Raven pondered with disbelief.

However, he didn't have to think for too long to figure out the answer.

'Three years... During that time hundreds of thousands of Realm Gates and Realm Domains must have been completed and cleared. Let alone 8, I bet the Realm Association possesses hundreds of such Relics.'

As Raven thought about this in silence, the rest of the group stared at the small talisman floating before them with utter disbelief.

"Master Ansell... Do we really get these for free?" the young guy with lots of tattoos asked with wide eyes and trembling hands.

Master Ansell before the 8 nodded softly and said, "Considering your worth and how dangerous the Realm Gate you are about to conquer truly is, this is the least I can do for all of you."

Then, with a grin he added;

"And, if you succeed in completing your task without losing your Avatar Totems, you all will be free to keep them."

"What!?"

Almost everyone screamed out with another wave of shock, however, soon all of their expressions became excited ad full of confidence.

"Sir, you can rest assured. We will definitely conquer that Realm Gate!" the guy with tattoos said with a confident and somewhat arrogant smile.

"That is good to hear, Arthur." Master Ansell smiled before he glanced at the digital watch on his wrist.

"Now then, you will be brought to the site tomorrow morning. Until then, you are all free to do whatever you want."

And with those words, Master Ansell turned around and left the room, leaving the group of youngsters behind.

"Hey, Raven, right? What Role did you get?"

Once the door closed the chubby woman glanced at Raven with curiosity, currently throwing a handful of candies into her mouth.

Seeing as everyone glanced at him, obviously as everyone was also curious to know the answer to that question, Raven straightened his posture scarcely and replied calmly;

"Warlord."

"Huh? Wait... You are kidding, right?" Min Chen asked with widened eyes, however whe she saw Raven's puzzled look she subconsciously let out an awed gasp.

"A Warlord with a Character Rank of SS? That's nuts!" Arthur laughed and began to walk around Raven as if he was some sort of ancient statue.

"Hahaha! Now I really can't wait to see the faces those bastards will make once news about you gets out!" the guy with the cigarette in his mouth laughed, even slapping his thigh to show his delight and anticipation.

"Bastards?" Raven raised a brow.

"He is talking about the leaders of each Realm Family. Dax sort of... Um.... hates them for various reasons." Canwin explained with a wry smile.

"Hate? It's more than that, I dispase them. All of them." Dax's smile vanished and if it wasn't for the cigarette in his mouth Raven would have thought he will spit on the ground right then and there.

"Is that so...?" Raven hummed slightly before he asked, "Anyways, now that we will work together, why don't we discuss plans?"

"That sounds right." Min Chen nodded, "After all, we all are part of different guilds and while we know a few things about each other it's better to share a few things about each other."

Canwin nodded and said, "I agree. This way we can think about tactics that not only help us cooperate better and smoother but also grants us a better chance to conquer the Realm Gate."

"Okay! Then I will go first." Arthur raised his hand and quickly proceeded on, "My Character Rank is S and my Role is Caster. I can create special domains in which have limited control over things such as the temperature, gravity, or the elements, however the latter is highly dependent on the environment."

'Sounds powerful.' Raven nodded, truly admiring the unique power Arthur possessed.

After Arthur finished talking, Dax crossed his arms before his chest and began to speak.

"My Character Rank is the same, S Rank, while the Role I have is Support. However, different from normal Supports my Artifact is a little unique."

"Oh?" Raven raised a brow curiously and kept listening.

"My Artifact is sound-type, or to be more precise instrument-type Artifact which if I use I can create barriers, defending against attacks. The more complex the music I play is, the stronger my barrier can become."

"Yeah, I heard you have once defended against a Rank 37 Steel Rhino's attack when you were at just Rank 31! That is truly terrifying." Arthur exclaimed with sparkling eyes.

"Well, that bastard was Rank 38, but yeah. Haha!" Dax laughed loudly before his gaze shifted to the chubby girl beside him.

"What about you, sparkles?"

"My name is Helena, and not sparkles," Helena stated with a hint of annoyance before continuing, "Though, my Rank is also S. As for my Artifact, well... it allows me to turn my fat into strength for a limited time to gain massive power."

"So you are a Warrior? Cool!" Arthur said excitedly, however, Helena strangely shook her head.

"No, my Role is called Berserker."

"Huh? But how?" everyone looked confused.

Helena just shrugged and said, "Just like how normal humans can burn their fat, I can burn my muscles too, gaining even more extra strength during battle."

'But if she does that, once the fight is over or it lasts for a long time, she becomes extremely vulnerable and weak. Now I see why her Role is Berserker.' Raven thought to himself.

After Helena, the next one who introduced himself was Canwin.

"My CR is also S. As for my Role, I am a Blesser."

Blesser. Raven heard about this one from Luna when he gave him a brief explanation about different Roles before they came to the Realm Association.

Blessers were unique as they had similarities to Enhancers with the single difference that instead of others they could only Bless, or to say it otherwise, buff themselves, mainly their weapons.

However, Canwin was different as he not only could enhance his weapons but also his body, allowing him to give an extra boost to his Traits for a limited amount of time.

Once Canwin finished talking it was Min Chen's turn to speak.

"Well, I don't think I have to introduce myself as you all may know me thanks to my Guild's reputation, but I will still do it. I have an S Character Rank with my Role being a Summoner. I can summon up to 5 beasts to assist me and my comrades in battle."

Felix seeing that Min Chen glanced at him after she finished talking sighed and said;

"My Character Rank is the same as for everyone while my Role is the same as Lady Luna's. However, different from her I can also be a Scout if I want to."

'Explaining his Artifact's ability without saying anything substantial. He wants to keep his abilities as a secret as much as he can, huh?' Raven thought, quickly realizing not everyone wants to share their abilities.

"What about you, Raven? Although we know your Character Rank and Role, we have yet to understand what you are good at." suddenly Min Chen asked.

"Well, I can both fight strong foes while supporting others at the same time. I can also act as an assassin if I need to, attracting the attention of numerous enemies and even annihilating them if needed."

"No wonder you have been given the Role of Warlord. I wonder just how many Ranks you can skip." Arthur mumbled with admiration to which Raven just smiled sheepishly.

If he were to say the honest truth, he was sure not only Arthur but everyone in the room would start either laughing, thinking he was exaggerating things, or simply becoming dumbstruck.

"So we have a Caster, a Summoner, a Berserker, a Supporter, two Assassins from which one is also a Scout, a Blesser, and a Warlord. No matter how one looks at it, we are a solid team with literally no weakness. Also, like this, we don't really have to discuss any tactics at all as we all know who has to do what." Arthur said, barely keeping his laughter inside.

"While that is true, we still have to be careful. After all, the Realm Gate we wish to conquer is a Crimson Gate which claimed the lives of hundreds already." Helena said with a serious face to which everyone nodded in agreement.

The group kept talking to each other for a few more minutes before they decided to go on their separate ways and meet tomorrow morning.

"What do you want to do now?" clinging to Raven's arm as they walked out of the Realm Association, Luna looked at her brother and asked sweetly.

Raven pondered silently for a bit before he grinned and said, "Let's eat something. I am starving as hell!"

"Okay~!"
